My doctor called me personally today. Apparently the lab lied to me in saying they faxed the results on Sat because my clinic just received them at 9 something this AM via fax. Ticks me off because I specifically called the lab last week to ask if it was going to be a problem to come in on Sat and have the blood draw, get the results and faxed to the dr by noon.
Anyway, my dr is always so nice.
I asked him how he thought the cycle went and everything went well... but like so many others... who knows why sometimes it works and other times it doesn't. Since it worked once (even though m/c) he really thinks we can get there.
He wanted to know what we wanted to do from here on... and if we needed time to take it. I told him we had already talked over the weekend and had decided as long as he thought it was possible to work, and insurance is paying for it we will continue.

I didn't start crying until I brought up all you wonderful ladies I have talked to that don't have insurance and are faced with not being able to go on with this. I told him that as long as I have the means to continue I feel I owe it to those who can't keep going. It wouldn't be fair to those out there who would give anything to have insurance cover it. I am very fortunate for that (and hope my insurance doesn't come back some time saying you can only try x many more times).

So, it looks like maybe october/November going through it again. My insurance resets then in January and my time off doesn't reset until April... so I think I have one more shot at this until next spring.

HI Everyone,
I know I haven;t been posting much but I've been reading and keeping up with all the news, both good and bad. Great news for all the BFPs! I want to be an IVF BFP someday!

My beta was today and I am a BFN. At least I was mentally prepared because POAS was -. I promised myself a few short pity parties before I stand up and walk on. I've have to admit that I haven't grieved over my miscarriages and if I don't at least breakdown now then I might explode!... or, more likely, start crying in public over nothing!

Another piece of frustration is that my insurace covers only IVF if you have failed with chlomid and IUIs. Chlomid and IUI's arent for me since I have no problem getting pregnant.... my problem is that I keep m/c. I went right to IVF in order to try PGD and get some (hopefully) healthy eggs to implant. The insurance company denied me and I have to figure out a way to fight back. If you have any advice, please let me know!

I need to speak more with my doc but I think I'm going to try again in October or November.

Good Luck and tons of Baby Dust to everyone!

Ladies,

I am so sorry to hear of some of the bad news on this thread (BFNs). My heart goes out to you and I pray that you can find healing and peace and that God will lead you to a baby soon.

To those of you with good news, I am elated with all the BFPs. I am so very happy for you as I know how you feel.

I am now 16dp5t (5 weeks today) and feeling just fine. My boobs are still a little sore now and then but nothing to complain of (not that I would anyway). I really don't feel pregnant yet, but didn't with my first pregnancy at this point either.

I went for a 3rd beta today just for good measure and it was 4655. So, it looks like I am doubling about every 48 hours. I haven't spoken with my nurse yet, but I am feeling good about the number and the doubling time. Now, I just can't wait for my u/s on 9/5. Aren't we always waiting for some date????

Anyway, thank you for the support shown on this board, not just to me but to all of us who are going through this.

I want to first say I am so sorry to hear about the negatives on the thread, I know this can be a very trying time but just rememeber he places no more on us than we can handle. That is why it is important to continue to pray for strength to overcome this hurdle. Your time will come.

I want to say CONGRATS to the new mothers to be, I pray for a wonderful HEALTHY 9 months. Mine has already started off rough. I told mi MIL that I haven't had time to really enjoy the great news because of the pain I have been in. It really is crazy, guess it was the twins with that extra HCG making things worse... Since having the fluid drained I have begun to feel somewhat better but my stomach is still bloated and sore. I go in Thursday or Friday for an u/s to see if more fluid has accumulated and hopefully get to see the babies again.

Hi there,

Hi truebeliever- you have had to deal with so much. Hopefully you will get some time to feel good and enjoy your pregnancy. This time around is so different than a natural pregnancy. It seems like the more you know the more you worry about, and then there is the added physical component of all the effects of the drugs and procedures. What a rollercoaster.

Fullofhope- You have such a strong a wonderful attitude. You also have some high beta numbers...could there be more than one??

Johnpaulcooke2008- How all went well today!! :)

Chenry4413- So sorry to hear your news. I also hope you can find some time to really express your feelings. I will say a prayer that you can release your sadness and frustration, and then you will be more able to get back on this IVF rollercoaster. Wishing you all the best in Oct or Nov. Hopng you can find some good time for yourself.

Triss- Your beta #s sound right on. Good growth rate! How are you feeling? Have you been able to enjoy your pregnancy?

Well I need to get some zzzzz so I can't write all personals. I am thinking about everyone!!!

My betas are slowly but surely rising. (you can see them in my sig).

I have my first ultrasound on Monday which will be exactly 3 weeks after my egg transfer. They are hoping to see a yolk sac in there.

I had an ultrasound today to check to see if any fluid has returned from OHSS. The fluid has returned, but not enough to be drained so the RE seems to have little concern. Got another sneak peak at the babies today. No heartbeats yet, but the sac and yolk for both were there. I have my official ultrasound scheduled for Wednesday, September 3rd. I will be 6wk4d, hopefully we will be bleesed with heartbeats then. Well, enough about me... I send baby dust to all.....

I will be joining the August babies thread, I wish the best of luck to each and every one of you. I will check back in to see how everyone is doing, hope to see many BFP's...
