it does. There is another discussion on here about that. I think the title is about a 6 cell enbie transfer. Read that. They had a lot of people write in and tell success stories with really less than perfect embies.
My doc doesn't even telll us about fragmentation. Just number of cells.
This time I got two 8 cell eggs (my problem is I have few eggs). I have to hope that with so few, something can work for me.
And I do understand the pain. I was pregnant last year and miscarried at 12 weeks. It was down syndrome. And it's hard when docs treat you like you have a bunch of bad DNA. We have no idea how each one will turn out. Just have to ask for the strength it takes to go through what all of us are going through.
Everyone of us is stronger than we ever knew... heck, we've gotten this far. If you told me 2 years ago that I'd have to go through all of this, I would not have said it was worth it. I now feel very differently. Not that I wouldn't like things to be easier sometimes! LOL.

SueQiwi - Yey, congrats on getting back into a cycle. I just hated waiting to start a cycle.
Amanda - I know it is hard to keep your hopes up but try and think positive. It only takes one good egg that wants to thrive and attach. When I went for ET I didn't even care how my embies looked. I just wanted all 3 of them back inside of me. I have seen too many people have great looking embies and end up with a BFN and other ladies that had horrible embies and the ladies got BFP. It is all up to mother nature and all we can do is hope and pray that this is our time.
soready73 - Are ya stimming yet???? Hope everything is going well.
baby_crazy - Hope your beta # is higher tomorrow. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you.
Valerie - How are you doing? You are having a 5 day transfer correct?
JJake, Horsgrl and Much - Hope ER went well, Keep us posted.
Jenolina - Beta is only a couple of days away. Are you going to POAS?
TooBee - GL on ET.
Kas - Sorry you haven't felt well since ET. I have my on and off moments. I am defiantly better since I don't have to take the antibiotic anymore. Now I just get little cramps here and there.
MisFixit - How are the stims going. Are you a crazy lady with all the hormone yet. I was a bat the last couple of days I was stimming. I had to think before I said anything to DH because so many times I caught myself saying something mean or trying to start a fight for no reason.
Muggsey and Turtles - How are you guys doing in the 2ww. I think I am just obsessed with this. Being PG is all I have thought about since ET. I can't get my mind off of it. Is this normal?
Hope everyone else has a good day.

Hey Everyone,
I am offically PUPO . 3 very decent looking blatocysts were trasferred today. I dont think I will have any to freeze, but I am hopeful. The RE said it just depends where they are tommorrow- and they will know then. Frossties would be a bonus to me at my age. I am just so grateful to have gotten all the way to transfer to begin with. Now I am off to la la Land- the valium they gave me at ET made me dopey and sleepy.
Hello All! It's been a while since I've been on so I have alot of catching up to do. I'm at work now, so I'm going to try to read back and catch up on what is going on with you all this evening.
I have to also say, I will most likely be moving out of this board. I found one with new activity that has ladies that have begun stimming and will have their ER and ET in September, that is the schedule I am on. I took my last BCP on 8/25 and I begin Follistm (sp?) and Repronex injections on 8/30/08. My expected ER will be some time between Sept 9th - 11th.
I'm new to this whole blogging thing (never did it before now), I have to admit I'm a little overwhelmed with all that is going on and I'm afraid I may not be able to catch up and keep up with it all. I notice how most of you post personals and I feel since I am soooo behind I may not be able to and I don't feel right about it. I'm hoping I can develop a bond with ladies, as I can tell most of you have with eachother. I think it is so great!
I wish everyone the best and I will be checking in every so often to see how all is doing.

Hi Everyone! Sorry I haven't been able to get on for a few days. I'll keep this short, I could use a nap. Had my ER today, 9 eggs which is great. They will call tomorrow with the report and but the ET is scheduled for Friday.
Good Luck to you!!!! I can totally understand why you need to be with those who are cycling with you- Im sending you lots of body positive vibes and baby dust!
I would focus on the two good things he said below. One thing I m learning through this process is that IVF is not an exact science and so many things are out of our control. In fact I am just so grateful for this technology and just getting through a cycle that does challenge us all You obviously have special reasons to be worried, but I would like to say the two things your DR said below sound promising to me and sound posistive! I know its hard, I go in and out of PGM- But I wanted to do a shout out to you and say- Im wishing you my best, hoping for the best, and hope youll be cheered up pretty soon
Ib]However, he said "some look better than others" and some "might have less fragmentation than before". [/b]But some look like the previous two cycles. He didn't say how many look Amanda[/quote]
Amanda, chin up all will workout, what god has planned for us will be and we can not change that...
Toobee , how are you doing? anything exciting to pass the time?
Stefanie, good luck tomorrow, bring on the strong beta's
Chris, I cannot wait to see your beta numbers. My thoughts and prayers are with you and every amazing women on here.
For me, I had my ER today, as I mentioned, we had 4 eggs, 3 mature, we are doing ICSI so with the grace of god they will all fertilize and come back from PGD perfect. From my mouth to Gods ears!!!
I am going to go relax for a bit, check in later on.
Much stick baby dust

Well I am laying around, DRS orders after ET- the valium buzz is almost gone. I am just watching news, chatting, reading posts, and feeling a bit couped up because its beautiful out and I would LOVE ot go for a long walk But I got 3 beaners in the oven, so I am doing what RE said-
Goodness I hit post before I was done, defntely loopy today, Congrats on your ER, sounds great!!!!
I am hoping this cycle does work of course, but if another is needed I will do PGD since I have had 3 m/c. I need to read more about PGD, I am interested in it, I know they take a biopsy of the embryo by extracting a single cell, right?
That is correct about PGD. On day 3 they make a small slit in each embryo and removed one cell. From that they can test for a lot of chromosone and genetic conditions to make sure before transfer that the embryo is unaffected.
It can lower the odds slightly of the embryo surviving. I wouldn't do it unless the doctor recommends.
Yes, your absolutely right. If we have another, that would be 4, so it make sense. I have heard that PGD has some risks, but seems like everything does. I have a stupid question, IF you do PGD, will you hten still do an amniocyntesis? Or doe sone do both? I know they reccommend
amniocyntesis for woman over 35. Anyway, I hope it all works out! Im sure the waiting is nerve racking-
