I have just had my Nuchal scan done (at 13 weeks) and they have found that I have a low lying placenta. I had a caesar only 11 months ago and they think that this is the reason (extra blood supply in the scar tissue). has anyone else had this issue and did it resolve? Or did you get Placenta Previa?

FYI - I was told I had low lying placenta at 20 weeks and now it has resolved itself, which is pretty common. Good luck!

I'm 19wks and just found out yesterday I have complete placenta previa. I was told there is a 50% chance of it resolving. Any advice/encouragement out there? Thanks, Jenny

DrJen:
I was told at 16 weeks I had complete placenta previa and was put on bedrest. I am now 21 weeks and its almost gone..about a centimeter to go before its off the cervex. They told me that 95% of the time it rights itself, if not then a C-section must be done. Good Luck!
