Scan Result

Post by Helen Reid »

Hi

I went for my scan today and everything is great he/she was waving at us from the start. The woman that done the scan saw how up tight i was and she was great. She had read all my notes and said about us having had a bad time of it and about the clinic i went to. I lay down but i closed my eyes until my dh said you can see it, well as you can imagine i burst into tears. We missed the heartbeat the first time (she seen it though) but she kept looking so that we could see it for ourselves. She done some measurements and gave us a picture. He/she is now 14.1cm and their date is just one day out from the clinics. I asked about the pains and she said it is normal they call it pant pains or something like that its just the stretching thats going on. But well its still sore but my mind has been put at rest. I have still to go on the 2nd march and they will do all the tests.

Thankyou all again for your support over the past few days.

A Very Happy Helen

Helen, I'm so pleased! TOLD YOU SO! Your pains sounded very similar to mine.....it makes sense if you think about what is going on in there - everything si being pulled and stretched!

Hopefully you'll be able to relax a little now and start to enjoy being pg!!

Have a lovely weekend - stress free!!!

Helen

Such good news, :D I know it's a worry and we all do it.!!! but there is a lot going on in there so it's to be expected I still get pains on and off, when they are bad I try to rest and think positive, put your feet up girl we deserve it....!!after what we have been throught to get this far.

if you get any probs just call your m/w or gp and DEMAND to been seen just to put your mind at rest.

Take care and CHill

Hi there

I am so pleased that all went well for your scan. It is lovely when you see him/her progressing and getting bigger with their little heart beating away. Enjoy being PG now!

Well done. Look after yourself and your little belly baby.

Love Dagny x

Hi Helen,

just wanted to say hello and that I'm glad everything went OK with your scan. Mine isn't until 27 Feb and I can't wait to see "Pip" again!

Are you going to find out what you are having and do you have any names yet?

Love Julie xx
