At the typical IVF clinic, the birth rate for donor cycles is just over 50%. The initial pregnancy rate must be around 70%. So the chance of getting through two transfers with no pregnancy is somewhere near 10%, assuming approximate independence of the two cycles.

There are clinics out there with birth rates as high as about 85% with donor cycles. Unfortunately, these are pretty rare.

Still, it does not hurt to shop around.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

Dear Summer,

Well I recently had a chemical pgcy with our first de cycle (Also, a 22 year old donor) We had a perfect cycle in all regards, and I have never smoked in my life...sorry, but I won't even be in the room with smoke and I'm extremely healthy...it just happens..

Although, smoking does compromise your health, I don't think you can attribute it to your failed cycles. Even young women have abnormal eggs each month and your embryologist may have just picked the wrong eggs to transfer. It is far from an exact science.

So if you are like me, you are over analysing what could have gone wrong...I am trying to pull myself out of the doldrums of sadness that our cycle failed and build my body and spirit back up. That is something we do have control over in the process. Get your body into the best shape possible by eating well and exercising so you are ready to carry your baby and try to relax. I personally find acupuncture, yoga and meditation helps me. Sometimes I wonder if the state of our mind isn't more important than our body...so try to be gentle on yourself and move forward from here.

Good Luck on your journey Summer...Blessings from Debrarey
