Dakota - Thanks for checking up on me!! Hope you are doing well in your pregnancy! I will definitely take it easy. I don't want to overdo.

Much Hope - My first few shots the first cycle didn't hurt at all. After awhile it can start bothering you because the oil lingers or something. Now with this second cycle, I am sore from the first. The shots themselves don't hurt but later it starts to ache. Keep an eye on it and if it starts hurting, put some heat on it.

Renee-
Glad you get to start stimming soon. I never drink coffee (nasty taste to me) so I didn't have to worry. I do drink tea and just switched to herbal. What is this Jamba Juice I keep hearing about?

TrueBeliever
- That is cool you get another sneak peak. Your official u/s and my beta are on the same day. Here's hoping for great results!!

Chris - great news about your insurance. We pay out of pocket. I have different insurance for the second cycle and was excited they cover monitoring. Of course I have a $2500 deductible so ended up paying it anyway, but it knocked my deductible down a lot :)

Hello everyone!

Babycrazy~ I'm so sorry to hear your sad news. I was really hoping for the best for you!
I understand that you want to move on from here. Maybe this path to getting a baby is not working but something WILL come into your life and give you a chance to be a Mom. Perhaps later on you will try again.
I wish you and DH the best. {{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}

Turtles~ These hurricanes are keeping us just as busy as IVF!!! I hope it doesn't get strong and stays away from you so you can have a safe departure!

True Believer~ I'm sorry the fluid has come back but the fact that your RE is not too concerned is a good sign. On the plus side, you got another peek at your babies. Sounds like they're doing well. Feel better real soon!

Much Hope~ Do you know how your embies are doing so far? I have you in my thoughts and wish you 2 strong embies tomorrow.
That's fantastic that the PIO shots do not hurt. That's a bonus for sure!

Renee~ You are almost there to stimming! It's so nice to finally feel like it's moving forward. We'll be here to support you, don't worry!

Chris~ What a nice surprise about your insurance! Man, I wish they'd pay for something, anything at all!
It certainly will give you peace of mind!! But you probably won't need anymore IVF since you'll be prego now!

Jenolina~ Wishing you the best for your beta tomorrow!! :D

JJJake, horsegrl, hoping4~ How are your pretty embies doing? Any news as to how they're growing? Let us know!

hoping4~ Is your ET tomorrow still or did they move you to blast transfer? Mine is tomorrow and I thought perhaps we were on the same schedule! :D

Mztia and misfixit~ Hope your stims are going well and that those follies are getting fat!

Thank you all for the kind words!! :D I'm really excited and have been feeling so good today! I'm going in tomorrow at noon for the transfer. I don't know if I'm transferring 2 or 3. I will take RE's advice. I'm feeling like it will work this time! Transferring 3 blasts might be a little much...I don't know. I'm just ready to add a BFP and a happy face to this thread!

Much love and baby dust to all!

Kate21-I’m sorry fewer fertilized than you would’ve liked, but it sounds like you got 2 good ones. I can’t believe you didn’t have to have a full bladder, that’s one of the things I hated most about the transfer.

Turtlesonastump-Glad you’re off of bed rest. And you get to do an early beta! I enjoyed your story about your son at school. I hope the hurricane stays away.

Much Hope-One is all you need!

Kerpupples-Good luck on your FET next week. I did one last week, the whole process of FET was definitely less stressful for me.

Stefanie-CONGRATULATIONS!

Mztia-good luck with your stims. I’m glad you feel better this time around.

To_have_fun-LOL at your jeep story. Those PIO shots are a painful. For some reason they seem more painful for me this time around. I’m glad for your insurance news and sad for your cousin. It’s so unfair how different insurance can be.

Valerie68-Good luck with your transfer tomorrow!

JJJAKE-Congratulations on your 11 that fertilized. You’re almost too your transfer!

SueQiwi-I’m glad you’re excited, even about drugs and needles!

Baby_crazy-I’m so, so, sorry. Words can’t express it.

Truebeliever-I’m glad everything is progressing well. It sounds like your OHSS is residing, I’m glad for that.

Renee-I did caffeine cold turkey too, it’s hard, but somehow it also helped me keep a positive mindset.

As for myself, I’ve just been keeping busy and trying to stay relaxed. This time around I’m definitely focused on not obsessing and basically just going on with life as normal, with a few minor exceptions of course. Last time it felt like I was holding my breath the whole time, afraid to do anything. I definitely feel more relaxed and generally positive.

I do plan to poas on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. It’s been helpful to have that to look forward too as well. There won’t be any HCG trigger shot in my system so any results I get should be legitimate. Any other 2ww out there poas?? My beta is next Tuesday, which just happens to coincide with the first day of school (I’m a teacher). So I’m going to have to get up super early to do my beta, and than endure the whole first day, which is pretty stressful anyway, thinking about this. Hopefully poas will prepare me for whatever the news is.

Good luck and best wishes to any and all I forgot to mention!

Hi Girls,

Thought it was about time I did some personals - I was having a down day yesterday (had a few tears :( ) but the PMA seems to have returned today so I am feeling much more positive :D

Val - great news on your little embies, sounds like you have some real little fighters in there - won't be long before you post you BFP. Good luck with the transfer, will be thinking of you. Are you having AP alongside the transfer?

Turtles - good luck with the early beta and enjoy the trip am sure it will be fab

Babycrazy - I'm sorry your journey is over, but I can totally relate to what you are saying. This is also our last try and I'm not sure how I will cope if the news is not what we want. Sending big hugs to you x

True Believer - hope the fluid returning isn't causing you too much discomfort? How cool that you get to check on the embies each time tho, must put your mind at rest a little that they are doing what they should be.

Much Hope - hope the transfer goes well. Can't relate to the PIO shots as we don't do them here in the UK - pretty glad to be honest after what everyone else says about them!

Renee - good luck with the stimming, not long before you start now

Chris - wish we had insurance cover here in the UK like you guys do over there. Like Val said tho you won't need anymore as you'll be preggers this time around!

Jenolina - keeping my fingers crossed for you and your beta

Good luck to anyone else that is stimming or on the 2ww - hope it is all going ok for you.

As for me they have changed my test date - scarey!! Normally the majority of places in the UK get you to POAS and phone in with the result. However, the consultant that I am seeing prefers to do a beta so I go in next Wed 3rd!!! I go back to work on Monday so if the news is not good Wed afternoon then I will somehow have to survive another 2 days of teaching!!

Had a bad day yesterday, found out the remaining 2 embies didn't make it to blast so none to freeze. That means this really is our final go - I can't go through anymore emotional rollercoasters!! The PMA has returned but now I am trying to decide whether to POAS before I go in for my beta or just wait and see? What do you reckon?

Anyway, catch you all later

Kate - Sorry you little ones didn't make it to freeze. I know it is really hard to keep up PMA when your cycle isn't turning out how you really wanted and this is your last chance. When it is your first cycle you are all excited and it is a lot easier to have PMA, then once you get the BFN over and over it is hard to hold on. I think you have a lot going in your favor and plus there is a 50/50 chance you will get the BFP so please keep up hope.
Oh and congrats on getting your beta pushed up to 9/3(secretly I am jealous). When I was doing the list I saw your beta wasn't until 9/7 and I thought that was really late and a good way to torture someone. Turtles, Shellbel and you are Beta buddies. YEY!!!!

Turtles - Hoping you have a safe and fun trip.

Valerie - Can't wait till your officially PUPO. Isn't it scary putting 3 back. Alot people say they don't mind twins but then you up it to triplets and it get really scary. Good luck and stick embies stick.

bell-02 - Your beta will be before you know it. Keeping my fingers crossed that you get a positive when you POAS.

I will try and post more later on today. I am working a half day and then will be going to Kentucky Lake for the weekend. It will kill me that I won't have internet access but maybe that is for the best so I stop obsessing. Hope everyone in the States has a safe and fun Labor Day weekend.
Right now I am not so for sure I will POAS on Monday. I keep telling myself I will but I also have to go buy some more and for some reason part of my brain keeps telling me not to go and do that. Maybe this is a sign that I should, I am just listening to my IPOD while typing this and the Dixie Chicks IVF song just came on. UUUUGGGGhHH this is so hard. I am in a funky mood today so I don't even think I am making sense. Maybe I should just get off of here and get to work.

Sorry this is going to be short, again, I don't know why this past week has seemed emotionally the toughest so far when it should be the most exciting. Thanks for asking about me Val, my ET is scheduled for today at 1pm. ER was Tuesday am, said they would call Wed with the report, no call! Thurs am they left a message saying all 9 eggs fertilized and they would call back with the transfer time, then never called! I called the office at 330pm (giving them time to call), and the RN and RE had left for the day, so no one could tell me the quality of the eggs! But they asked about freezing, how do I know if I want to freeze if I don't know the quality?

This really bothered me, I've been reading all the posts, just haven't had the heart to write. Now DH and I will decide this am to freeze or not, freezing is not covered by insurance but 2 more cycles are (with deductibles). Will my ovaries cooperate to produce eggs in another cycle?

Keep the PMA stimmers! Everyday you are getting closer!

Good luck to the ER's and ET's this week!

I'm praying for the PUPO ladies! I like the angel smiley!

To those who were not successful this time, my heart and prayers go out to you. Thank you for sharing your journey.

hoping4~ I hope you get to see this message before you leave for ET.
Please feel good about having 9 out of 9 embies...that's just fantastic!!
You must have some gorgeous 3 day embies in that group! :D
It is totally unacceptable that they didn't call you, very unprofessional!!
I would have been hounding them to find out the results. I totally understand why you'd feel like that! But you have to relax so that your body is ready to accept those embies!!
I wish you the best of luck and hope to find you in much better spirits after ET!! You are in my thoughts.

I'll catch up with everybody once the valium cloud has lifted from my head.
DH is taking me to AP afterwards too!

Thinking about all of you!

Val, Good luck today, you are in my thoughts, I willbe praying that all your embies snuggle in for a long 9 month nap. enjoy the AP. cant wait to hear the great report and you will be officially PUPO yeahhhhhhhhhhh!!

Hoping4, I would have hounded them to, that is unprofessional, but as long as those embies are doing great that is all that matters, Good luck today, we are all praying for you.

I am still waiting for my day 3 report on my 2 lil embies, if all is good then poor babie already need to be polked to get the cell for PGD, God then another day and half of more waiting. I wish I could hire a person towait for me, like those line waiters. oh.

Hi Girls

I had my transfer yesterday at 3:30. So I am now PUPO. My beta test is set for 9/6. I went in not expecting good news but got a wonderful surprise. The embryos got a lot better since Tues. Although we could only use 3 of the 15 due to the PGD elimination, we were told this was the best cycle yet. We transfered all 3 (A-, B, C). They said that someone of the others were even better and were A's. I feel this is my time. He even said that the way one of them was growing it is possible it could split. I wont think oabout 4 though, that is scary since I am so short. The embryologist said he was so surprised it turned out the way it did, I am not in the 2WW.

I hope all is well with you all.

hello ladies:

Well my RE just called me with my day 3 report. My 2 lil follies only made it to 3 cells, not even enough to do the PGD, so this cycle is ended for me.
:(

He called DH before me and he is just falling apart, he so badly wanted this cycle to work.

I am upset, but this is just the beginning and as I keep telling everyone, God has a plan and maybe this cycle was not planned for me and next is, we shall see. Dr T will call me next week to figure out what our next plan of attack will be, until then I am going to relax and enjoy the long weekend and even maybe have a frozen drink or two.

Ill be checking in to see how you are all doing.

Much Hope - i am so sorry this cycle didn't work for you. Hugs to you and your DH. Take this time to regroup and hope your next cycle is the one!! Enjoy your frozen drinks over the weekend.

Amanda - Congrats on being PUPO!! That is great that this is your best cycle yet. I hope your embies are snuggling in for a long period. Good luck!!

val - Good luck with transfer!! Can't wait to hear your news!

hoping4amiracle - Good luck with your transfer too!! I hope you give your docs hell for not updating like they should!

Well, I am going to try to hold off POAS till Monday. We will see how I do. I have a lot of hw to do so I should stay pretty busy. That is if I can concentrate on reading. Haven't had any luck there yet :?

Much Hope - I am so sorry your embies didn't make it. Enjoy your frozen drinks and please drink a couple for me. Best wishes for what you plan to do in the future. I will be watching out for you on the boards.

Val - Congrats on your transfer and being officially PUPO.

Turtles - POAS Monday? Good luck. I am still at an impass, I really want to POAS on Monday but am afraid I will see what I always see when I take those, just that 1 single line. I don't even believe those things have two lines. I haven't bought anymore HPT's so if I am going to do it on Monday I probably need to go out and buy some before I leave for the weekend. That leaves me about 1 hr to do that. We will see.

So I have been running around trying to pack for the weekend. I probably haven't stopped moving for the past 2 hours. I am feeling little twinges in my uterus now so I figured I better stop and relax for a few. Hopefully, I didn't hurt anyting in there. Also I was bad and picked up stuff that was more then 10lbs. That is so hard not to do. It is really going to suck because I won't be able to go swimming in the lake. I told DH that I couldn't do this so he said he won't either since I can't. Now, drinking beer is another story, he will be doing that all weekend and torturing me with it. . If I am PG it will all be worth it, if not I am off next Friday and I will be really boozing it up. Image -- hee hee watch up I found a whole bunch of smileys.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

much hope - So sorry to hear that it didn't work out this time. :( But, every cycle is different and the next one could mean a lot of excellent eggs! Definitely take some time to relax and do something fun! I will keep good thoughts for you and the next time being a charm! :)

Kate21 - It's upsetting that the two remaining embies didn't make it for freezing. But, you're not going to need them! It will work this time and the two you got snuggled in will stick!

Stephanie - Congrats on your fantastic Beta results! WOW, you ARE an inspiration to everybody who thinks their odds are just not that good. You overcame it all! :) Congrats again!

Amanda - See? We knew things will work out. Out of all your eggs you got 3 AWESOME little fighters that will stick to momma like glue! ;) Now that you're officially PUPO, take it easy! Relax and let nature do its job :)

Truebeliever - I don't think I congratulated you on twins yet. Did I? That's awesome piece of news in either case and deserves repeated accolades ;) I hope your OHSS will finally subside soon. Did the RE say anything about when it's supposed to go away?

Val - I looked at your meds and you're right they couldn't have put you on higher doses. You poor thing, they were really pumping you up! :( Well, it's all done now and you're having your ET today with 3 beatiful perfect embies to choose from. Wanna know how many you decided on transferring! Enjoy the Valium high, hehe ;) BTW, what is MORULA STAGE?

hoping4amiracle - That really sucks about them not calling you! Any RE clinic should understand how we're living in this wait and how important it is to know all the news as soon as they are available!
Well, that aside, I hope your ET was very smooth and you transferred some great little embies :)

Jenolina - What's the word on Beta?

JJJAKE, horsegrl - What's going on? When are the ET's?

MY UPDATE - well, my right ovary seems to be on a mission and keeps popping out follicles (I said eggs last time - wishful thinking, I guess ;)). As of this morning I have 17 total follies. However, only 12 of them are probably going to be big enough by the time of retrieval (according to what tohavefun said about a follie needing to be 16 mm to have a possible egg). I brought my Ganirelix to the RE office and they had me take it right there. Looks like my ER will be either Tuesday or Wednesday. All will be revealed on Sunday at my next US/BW. Apparently my endometrium is looking quite fluffy and snuggly at 13 mm (nurse said they hope for 8 usually). Here's keeping fingers crossed for all the follies to catch up to good sizes. :) Someone said here that sometimes "they let the big one go". What does that mean exactly? What happens to the "big one" if it's let go?

Heloo Ladies,

MuchHope- i am so sorry this cycle didn't work out. But they do say this is the "trial" run and I know they will be able to adjust your protocol and the next one is your time for sure.

Val and Hoping4- Good luck for your ET. I am thinking happy snuggling thoughts for you.

Amanda- you sound like you had 3 very nice embies. 3 is great after PGD. Congrats on being PUPO.

Turtles and to-have fun- I give you ladies credit for even thinking about NOT POAS'ing. Myself, I have already ordered and received my 10 pee sticks for this cycle and I just stimming LOL.

Kate- I had so many tear filled bad days duiring my first 2ww. I blame the mean old nasty hormones. So glad you are feeling better today.

For anyone that I missed Grow embies Grow, Patience and rest to the 2ww'ers and let us know if anyone POAS's ))
