Chris - The day after I did my trigger I POAS just to see if they really worked. I got two lines :D I was getting twinges after putting groceries away. Have a relaxing weekend. I liked your beer smiley. My DH is going to a fantasy football draft with his college buddies so it is just DS and me this weekend. Doubt we will do much but keep an eye on Gustav. Well, and do my hw. :?

msfixit- way to go on the follies. When a follie gets to big I think it is to ripe. I don't know if that is the right term, but you know what I mean. Here's hoping for another good u/s on Sunday!!

O.k. I really got to study some now.

Amanda Congrats on your strong embies! PMA on being PUPO!

Much Hope I'm sorry this wasn't the cycle for you, but trust in God that everything is meant to be. My thoughts and prayers to you and your DH.

Val Good luck with your transfer today!

turtles good luck if you do poas! Try to hold strong!

misfixit good job on popping out the follicles! I had one they "let go" also, I think it just reabsorbs in your body.

I didn't copy the right list, I was trying to update it, sorry :(

How did the transfers go today? How are the 2ww's doing? Is the stimming going well?

My transfer went well today, they had trouble getting the catheter in, so it was a little painful, but hopefully that will hold the little guys in. They were both 8 cells. We decided not to freeze since insurance does not cover it and it is several thousand dollars, but insurance does cover another cycle. They put 2 embryos back, so now it's a waiting game until 9/9! Thank you guys for the encouragement this morning!

Valerie - way to go - I had to look up Morella stage - wow. My clinic doesn't even do that for us. This is really great.

Turtles - I'm sorry about the hurricaines. I hope you're able to keep stress in check. I had a work deadline during my 2ww. I just did my best and used that deadline to keep my head focused on something other than my uterus. Made use of it in other words. You sound great. You sound pretty down to earth about it all. I'm impressed.

True believer - It's hitting the marks from here on out. I'm sending you good growth and clearing of fluid?

Much Hope - 2 embies is all I had and here I am!!!

Amanda - relax this weekend. Major chilling.

Hoping 4 a miracle - I had 2 8 cells too. so miracles do happen.

I had BETA #2 today 2059!!!!! Again I say that to offer hope to those poor responders who get cancelled cycled and told by REs that their only hope is egg donor. Give up only when you are ready.

Have a great weekend everyone.

hey ladies, well I had my ET today! The harp playing was great, had a little suprise they placed 3 eggs instead of two. Because of my chromsome transsection the doc felt it would be best to place 3. So they were all 8 cells I have 5 that are going to be frozen and 3 that are lagging behind so they want to see if do any better in the next couple of days. I swear when i went to empty my bbladder i was so scared i was going to lose them. I'm not getting up from this sofa for the next 3days. I ate my food so fast so I can lye down.

I know there were alot of ET today and Beta numbers given I have to catch up. Stickey Babies and blowng baby dust to you ladies.

Now we wait........

Good evening girls,

i'm still waking up from this nasty valium...I feel totally exhausted and my head's still fuzzy.

I had the transfer at noon and decided on all 3!!!
The best one was already hatching out of its shell and was grade A. The next one was a blast with Grade B probably and the last one was an early blast and not as good a quality. They recommended to transfer all 3 M&Ms and my embryologist said I had a great chance of becoming pregnant, even better than the first cycle! that me me very happy :D :D

Stefanie~ I'm so happy about that beta!!! Congrats!!

More personals to do but i'm struggling to stay awake! I'll catch you later!

hugs to all.

JJJake - Congrats on your ET today. YEAH!!!!!

Amanda - Congrats on your ET as well. YEAH!!!

Much Hope and BabyCrazy - My thought and prayers are with you and your loved ones.

Val - Congrats on your ET TOO!!! YEAH!!!!!

Stefanie - You are an inspiration to us all. Thank you for helping me keep the PMA!!

to_have_fun08 - You made me laugh with your "Give me beer" smiley!!

Anyone I left out I want you to know I am thinking of you all, wishing you all the best!

As for me, today is Day 3. I have 6 embryos. Two are Grade 1 and 4 are grade 2. They are all either 6 or 8 cells. I am going in for a 5 day transfer on Sunday!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited I can hardly contain myself!! I had some cramping last night but I think it is due to the wonderful side effect of constipation from the Prometrium! Other than that...I feel great!!! We are remodeling our houseboat so I have been able to keep my mind occupied with color and cabinet choices.

I feel like a little girl on Christmas morning who just found a pony in her backyard!!

Val

How can you tell if the embryo is hatching from the shell? I was a little fuzzy from the valium, but I think the RE said the 3 they put in me were all blasts.

Does anyone know how long it takes to break out of the shell? Does it not implant until it does break out of the shell?

Since I have only had 2 chemical pregnancies that didn't implant I don;t know the answer to those questions

Hey ladies :D

Anyone in the 2WW planning to POAS yet?????

I did yesterday to make sure the trigger was out of my system and it is !!!! SO now i know any (hopefully) positive results will be for real :)

Today i am 6dp3dt, so thinking about testing on 8dp3dt. From what i've seen a lot of people that go on to be preg have a + on this day or the next. If its neg i will test every other day till Beta. What are you all gonna do????

Also has anyone had any symptoms yet??? I have had nothing - no cramps, no spotting, nothing and i wish i did as it would make me feel better. DH asked me last night if i felt preg. As i've never been preg i dont know how i should feel, but my gut feeling is that i'm not, and if we are supposed to 'know' then i would say i'm not.

How is everyone else feeling???

Hi Amanda!

Congrats on your transfer and it sounds like you have some fabulous embies yourself.
My RE and the embryologist told me that one was already hatching...they can see it under the microscope. I sent a link to this website before and I like it because you can look at all the embies pictures.

http://www.advancedfertility.com/blastocystimages.htm

I wish you a BFP coming up soon.

horsegrl~ I know how you feel because when i found out I was having a 5dt I was jumping up and down and feeling so incredible!
I'm happy for you that you have a 5dt!! :D

SueQiwi~ thank you for your thoughts! you're right, I'm pretty proud of my M&Ms!!!
I hope you get wondeful embies of your own real soon!

JJJake~ Fantastic news for you...3 embies like me and Toobee!! and you're going to have some frosties...how exciting!
Congrats and time to feel prego!

Much Hope~ I am truly sorry that your cycle ends here...but only for now. I love your attitude, your kind, gentle spirits.
You have a great attitude and the next cycle will work. I fee so bad for your DH! ((((((HUGS))))))

msfixit~ Good job on those follies, you should get quite a few good eggs! Good luck on Sunday!
Morula stage is day 4 embies...too many cells to be counted. Look at that link I have on this post and you'll enjoy it.

hoping4~ Congrats on transferring 2 good looking embies...I'm sorry that they had a difficult time. Don't worry, they can't get out!

kas~ I will not POAS! I think I would stress way too much if it was negative. I hope you get to see a positive real soon and many women are pregnant without symptoms.
I on the other hand got tons of symptoms on the 1st cycle and told DH that there was something terribly wrong with me if I was not pregnant!
So I hope I get them again! I'll let you know when I start feeling prego.

chris~ I hope you have a good weekend!! Don't overdo it!
I love your new emticons...where did you find them?
We'll talk to you soon as you probably won't have any pc access!

I'm still feeling very tired...I didn't feel this way after ER!
I'm sure I forgot someone, but still not myself.
I'm thinking about all of you and sending tons of babydust!!

Progestone after ET

Post by karma_k »

Does anyone have suggestions for soreness and stinging after progesterone injections? My beta test was pretty high after 2WW,
so I will probably be taking these injections for quite a while...praying that I'm pregnant and everything continues to go well.

Hi Ladies,

We just got our Beta back. It was the biggest BFN of all time! I honestly don't know what we'll do or where we'll go from here. It's so hard to accept.

Baby_Crazy: I am so sorry to hear your news. I am truely feeling your hurt. You are in my prayers.

Stephanie: Congrats on your great beta numbers! I am really happy for you.

Val: You have some great embies to work with! I am so happy for you and will be excited to hear how your ET goes. Best of luck to you !

To Have Fun: Thanks for all your warm wished and thoughts!

DH and I are devistated. We just moved back to California where all infertility are services NOT covered by insurance. To go through IVF again would cost us between 12-15,000$. My husband lost his job in March, so that is definitely not an option. My mind does not know the next step, nor even the direction. I can't even begin to thing about the possibilty of never having another child of my own, of my son growing up an only child, and yet I can not yet accept going the other route: adoption, donor eggs, etc...What a weird head space.

To all you ladies, THANK YOU, all of you so much for being here to support me in this journey, for all your kind words, and prayers and warm thoughts. Being a part of this forum has been so great...you are all wonderful, caring people! Best of luck and baby dust to all of you on this journey!
