Hello Ghost,
We are currently 7 weeks pregnant with a singleton. Upon our first u/s this week, the Dr found a "mass" on my right side where my ovary used to be (it was removed, as well as the tube 10 years ago.) He said he wasn't sure what it was...he consulted other docs as well and I was told to go have a radiologist to another u/s for a second opinion, which I did today. Turns out that didn't really help out much as the radiologist really doesn't know what it is. My Dr said that he cannot rule out the possibility that one of the embryos transferred could have ended up ectopic and one in the uterus (2 embryos transferred total). Although this is uncommon, she wants to monitor me very closely and does not want to do a laparoscopy due to the baby I am currently pregnant with. I am not in pain or any discomfort. Have you ever seen anything like this? I would really appreciate any input you may have. Thank you!!
