Ghost - should I move my embryos??

Post by jenny34 »

Ghost, I have been reading your posts about FET. I currently have over 15 embryos at a clinic with low SART %s for FET - little less than 30%. I just did a FET at this clinic and it was a BFN, had me on medrol, bad service, etc.
I noticed the Kaiser in Fremont, CA SART link you posted with 80% FET rates. I've been on the phone with them and they sound great.
Do you think I should move my embryos over to their clinic for my next FET? Does it harm embryos to transfer them?????

We are paying out of pocket for our treatments so we want to get the most success for our $$$.

THANK you for your help -- thank you, thank you! I am leaning towards going for it, but don't want to harm the embryos by transfering them.

I can tell you what I have seen. We have (ahem) some pretty high FET rates too, so many patients transfer theirs to us. Some come from one clinic with horrible FET rates (almost certainly worse than your clinic). Theirs are almost always dead. But those from most of the other clinics are okay. My guess would be that the one clinic with the terrible rates was just lousy at freezing and killing the embryos.

But FET cycle success depends on several things, including the thaw and transfer protocols and the luteal support. I don't know anything about that clinic in Fremont, but they must have everything down solid to have gotten 80% live birth.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
