Turtles~I'm watching the weather and seeing Gustav at a category 4, my heart just sank and it wouldn't take much to make me cry. I've been through several hurricanes here including Andrew, Wilma, Katrina to name a few. I pray that you will be ok...you are so much in my thoughts. I hope you only get minimal amount of wind. Try not to stress...let DH make the preparations and try to rest. Sounds like you're having some good symptoms and I feel a good BFP coming for you!
Hang in there.
Don't feel bad for seeing a negative, you're too early!

Hugs to you!

Thanks Val. Today it has made me a little nervous cause I heard it might get to cat. 5  I have been through Ivan (destroyed our house), Katrina (destroyed brother-in-laws house) and a few smaller ones. One tropical storm flooded our house  Everyone says I am bad luck and they are following me. We have moved from Cocoa Beach, to Pensacola, to Biloxi ,to Mobile  I have lived many places in the U.S. and have been through volcanoes (Mt. St. Helen's) and earthquakes in Cal. A few snow storms in D.C. and I think I have most natural disasters covered  Then my Dh and I were hit by a firetruck and that is how I lost my leg. Now with in vitro. I mean really, who can have such bad luck. But I am blessed with a great DH, wonderful little boy and hopefully have number 2 on the way :) Just have to take life as it is thrown at you and roll with it. :D

Anyway, DH is checking out the generator. I am sending him to the store for supplies later. Found out we now have 6 adults and 3 kids staying over Plus assorted dogs they are bringing (7 I think). Luckily all but one are family and they all know what I am going through. My sister-in-law will be spending tomorrow cooking some food to bring over. :) The kids including mine will be 5, 5, 3 years old and a 9 month old. The baby will probably make me cry. I couldn't hold her the last time they were down. I had to many hormones running through my system and it was after my canceled cycle. I hope to do better this time. Well, enough procrastinating, better get back to laundry and studying. :(

Toobee: The blasts look really good. I think it is a good sign that one was hatching. Hopefully you'll get that BFP soon!

Turtles: All those symptoms sound like you are pregnant!

Kas101: I agree about POAS! Why not it does make me feel better. I have been breaking out with huge pimples too. It almost makes me feel like I am in high school again. It is great we will be POAS buddies :D It is nice to be able to talk to someone who is doing the same thing.

I did take another test this morning and it was negative. I did stare at itfor a long time and I don't know if I really saw a line or not or if I stared at it long enough my brain started to make me see it. Or possibly it was just the place where the line normally appears. But it hadn't started to turn pink so I am pretty sure it was nothing. I think my boobs are starting to feel tender but again I don't know if it is just because I have been poking them a lot or imagining their sore because I want them to be so badly. I have noticed one problem though. I am extremely bloated so bad that my biggest pair of loose pants that used to fall off of me are now tight. My belly is sticking out so much now too that even my dh has noticed a difference.

hey guys i'm on my last day of bed rest....in a little of a slump. Don't feel pregnant but i'm gasey and a little crampy. I'm also really tired, if i get up to do something small i have to lye back down.

I don't know.... they placed 3 embies, one should take right? I'm just having a hard time right now.... my dh is so excited and my mother in-law is so happy. They both say they "have a feelling" I am carrying multiples. I don't feel that much different which is normal but being on bed rest is making me go nutz :x

I am so sorry to you ladies who have recieved a BFN.....I think we all are fearing this now....or at least I am.

Baby dust to you all xoxoxo Jeanine

how do you do download your embryo pic's

JJJake~ I'm sorry you're feeling down! Those two symptoms sound excellent! I am burping like crazy since yesterday afternoon, feeling more tired at times and sharp localized cramps that woke me up twice during the night.
Do you remember your symptoms from when you were prego with your kids? If so, you could then compare them.
I wouldn't worry, it looks like you might be on your way to a BFP.
We are all fearing a BFN but to counteract that, I tell DH that I'm prego every day, even several times a day!

Shellbell~ I saw your other post and it sounds like you have a BFP coming! I see that my belly is quite bigger than before, even in the morning.
I was out of breath this morning and feeling rather full. Maybe it's a mild case of OHSS although my numbers were not that high...does it make a difference if I only have one ovary? I'm not sure. I was at around E2 2,500 with only 5 follies.

Turtles~ Seems like you will be well surrounded by people and animals. I hope you stay safe. I think you will only have tropical storm force winds where you are with the current track. That would be a great relief.
Natural disaster seem to follow you but you always make it safe. And getting hit by a firetruck is no picnic and you are luckily still alive. I'm sorry that happened to you and that you lost a leg. You are a courageous woman and because of all that has happened to you, you are that much stronger.
Now with IVF, you will make it too! :D
How is the studying going?

My boobs are itching like mad all the time. Doesn't matter if I scratch it, it doesn't go away! Mostly my right one though. It's just bizarre. Does anybody else have that? They are still sore and bigger...can't complain.

Hope all the ladies are doing well ...to those in the 2ww, hope you are not going too crazy and our stimming girls, I hope all your follies are getting fat and plump!

Still no symptoms......

But last night I had mild nasaeua......But I really believe its from the Estradoil pills im taken, cause the nasaeua was strongest right after taking it.

Does anyone know why I would be prescribed Estradoil anyway, especially since I made a good amount during stimms??? The only wiered thing is I have been taking it since the 28th and lastnight was the first time i had reaction to it.

Val-
Itchy boobs is very much a sign of preggo. :) I have not read that one linked to any drugs we are taking.... yeay!!

Hey Everyone!

Hope all you PUPO ladies are keeping your PMA whether you have any symptoms or not. Think about it this way, millions of women don't find out that they are pregnant for a couple of months!! If not longer! We just know exactly the dates of transfers and fertilizations and implantations etc etc, so we tend to obsess. Not feeling prego doesn't mean anything! Try to relax and not worry about the symptoms :)

I'm with Val, as far as POAS goes. I don't think I will. Will just make me crazy!

Jenolina - So sorry about your news. :( Hopefully, things will work out in the future for you!

turtles - WOW! You have my utter respect and admiration for everything you've gone through! You're a strong woman and I'm keeping all kind of positive thoughts for this IVF to work out for you. You deserve a break!!!

As for me, my follies seem to have slowed down. Maybe due to Ganirelix? Saw the RE this morning. He actually did my US himself as he's on call for the weekend. Still have 12 potential winners :). It's actually pretty good as the bigger ones slowed down but the smaller ones are catching up. My E2 is at around 900 though (more than doubled in two days), so he wants me to lower the dosage of the meds. I thought I'd be ready for ER on Tuesday or Wed, but it looks like it'll be Thursday. Here's hoping for 12 mature eggs to be retrieved!!

Toobee~ I didn't know that itchy boobs could be a sign. Could it come from the trigger shot? At times, it drives me nuts and no amount of scratching relieves it. Right now it's calm in that department.
I'm having a lot more cramps and more intense. The burping started yesterday afternoon. I'm feeling optimistic. :D

Misfixit~So glad it's working out for you!! :D 12 follies is a very good number. Yours are doing what mine did...the big one kind of waited for the little ones to catch up!! A few more days and you will have ER!!
I will not POAS as well and try to rely on what my body tells me...so far I'm feeling very positive. I hope it keeps going.

Spoke too soon about the boobs not itching...they're back

But I am no doc, I am just telling you what several woman have wrriten on other forums and posts. I also read about that oragsm thing you had during your first IVF 2ww...and have read that could be a sign of twins... I never expereinced any symptoms that were strange :) just big bbs

toobee~ Thanks! I did read now that it could be a symptom... :D
I thought it was unusual, but I'll take it. I had never seen it in the regular symptoms for pregnancy. Sore and bigger breasts, yes .... but not itchy.
Don't worry about not having any symptoms, you had previous pregnancies without symptoms...just another BFP without symptoms for you. But I know we all want to see symptoms to let us know it's working. You've got good PMA, That's wonderful. :D

Valerie- That's great that your itchy boobs can be a sign of pregnancy :D . I see another BFP for team August!

I have felt a few twinges but other than that no symptoms. Boobs aren't sore or bigger, not tired, nothing. Oh well, I will find out next Sat. I said an extra prayer for all of us at church this morning. However, I did have an interesting dream last night. In the dream I had identical twins and was crying bc I couldn't tell them apart. lol.

Misfixit - 12 follies! How awesome. I am so happ for you. Keep stimming.

Hugs and baby dust to all. Posting will all of you girls has def helped during this difficult process.

Hello Ladies!!

Well...I went and got "knocked up" today...HAHAHAH!!! Seriously, I went and had my ET today. We transfered one very good blast!! The doctor gave me a 50/50 chance!!! I'll take it! I wasn't given any bed rest just to relax today and nothing strenuous until the preg test on Sept 9.

VAL - sorry about the itchy boobs, unless they are a preg symptom....then, I'm not sorry!!! It will be a good thing!!

turtles - Stay safe with the storm. Your family and animals are lucky to have a place to stay with you during this time. Everyone in Gustavs path is in my prayers.

Back to the couch to admire my picture of my little one....

Happy thoughts to all!!!

Hey Girls,

I have been posting on the September buddies post, but I realize I am really an Aug/Sep buddy literally. I am on my 7th day of stim, so my stims span Aug and September.

Currently I am doing a antagon cycle. My first two are flares. The first one produced 5 embryos, 3 grade 1, 2 grade 3. The second one was awful producing 2 very poor quality embryos. I was 41 for the first 2 (feb and june) but turned 42 in July.

Day 4 I had 4 follies (Right side 10, 8, 6 -- Left side 9).
Day 6 I had 5 follies (Right side 16, 11, Left side 12 8, 7)

I seem to have lost a follicle off the right between day 4 and day 6 or maybe the 6mm one just did not grow? Anyone else have disappearing follies? It happened in my last cycle with a nice juicy 14 mm one...just was gone the next u/s.

Anyway, I am a little nervous about these guys are they are spread out a bit. I go in tomorrow to get checked again...and hopefully not canceled!

Hope you all are doing well. I am very behind on this thread, so will try to catch up!

Anyone else still stimming?

Hope we all get great news!!!! And yes, itchy boobs are a good sign for pg in my experience!

Lynn

Welcome lynniecat~ I've read many of your posts on this forum. You seem to know a lot already, that's great. I had a bit of a problem with a lead follie but never had a vanishing one! Could it be that it's hiding behind another one. I've heard that it's possible.
I hope it works out and that 16mm one doesn't grow too much more so that the others have time to catch up. If you go back a few pages ( maybe 3 ), you'll find a list of everybody and where they are in their cycle.
I'll be sending you good vibes! :D

horsegrl~ Congrats on being PUPO!! Hope our little embies starts to hang on real soon. Enjoy looking at that picture. I wish I had one but they don't do it at my RE's office.

Amanda~ It says in your signature that you have your beta on 9/8 but that falls on a Monday, not a Saturday like you said in your post.
I sure hope you get your BFP and that your dream comes true.
I dreamt of twins girls a few days ago, although mine were not identical. It felt great!

Thanks for all the responses about the sore boobs. I'll take all the symptoms I can get. But itchy boobs can be problematic at times when you're with company: It's like...excuse me while I go scratch my boobs...I'll be right back!!

Let's bring on the BFPs!!! And grow follies, grow!!

much love,
