Hi Girls

Muggsey- I wouldn't worry too much. Like Brit said it all depends on how sensitive that test is. I hope it works for you.

Hil - I wouldn't worry about your blasts not being grade 1. Mine clinic using A-. They have seen lots of babies from grade C's. I feel this is your time. You have been through so much already.

Brit- Good luck on your beta tomorrow. Please let us know how it turns out.

As for me, still not feeling anything, and I haven't had any twinges for almost a day. I am going to trying to think I am PUPO. Although, I do admit sometimes I have a feeling I am not. I'm not in control of it though, and it is much happier to think that I am pregnant. Plus, I like my DH calling me his pregnant wife and kissing the babies goodnight.

Hope you are all have a good Labor Day.

2 WEEK WAIT!!!

Post by Hil »

Amanda,

Sorry I am new to these boards...What does PUPO stand for? And I am so praying the "THIRD TIME IS A CHARM!" It is the mantra in my head....Also that I am NOT a statistic. I broke down last night because I read that the chance of a 2 day transfer are much less than a 5 day transfer. My husband pointed out that according to "statistics" the two previous times (natural cycles) we would not have gotten pregnant . I think positive thinking is the most important thing---now if I could only do it myself. ;-)

I also do not think "symptoms" matter too much...I know when I was pregnant the last time I had NO symptoms until week seven..(And then I miscarried week 8. :-( )

Anyway, thanks again for all your support and I have a feeling you are PREGNANT!

Happy Labor (hopefully we will all have are own special labor day in 9 months!) Day!

Hil

Thanks for all of your support :) PUPO is pregnant until proven otherwise. We only did a day 5 transfer because we did PGD (pre implantation genetic diagnosis) to prevent passing on a known genetic condition.

I hadn't heard that a day 2 transfer has less of a chance. Don;t worry you will not be a statistic.

I'm not always positive. Sometimes I just feel like I am not pregnant. Mostly because I don;t want to get my hopes up. Also, due to the genetic condition, we can't try on our own. IVF is the only way we can have our own child.

Thanks again for the encouragement and support. This will work for both of us. :D

Brit 1612~ Best of luck on your beta today!! I hope you get a good strong number !!
:D

Muggsey~ One more day of waiting torture!! I really hope you see that BFP...Hope you're feeling calm...I'm thinking about you...

Well, the rest of us keep on waiting. I'm having a tough day today...woke up feeling like I was not prego anymore...really down. Then I started my usual burping...I burp all day long, its embarrassing because I can't control it and they are deep long burp. I never burp usually. I felt kind of disgusted by the food this am and although I was hungry, nothing really looked appetizing.
I had bad AF cramps last night around 7pm and some more during the night.
So it still looks good but I don't know why I'm feeling down. I'm shaking it off slowly though.

I wish I was more upbeat, but these are the ups and downs of this whole roller coaster thing. By this afternoon, I should regain my usual PMA. I have AP at 5pm as well and that will help me a lot.

Hope you girls are all feeling well mentally and that PMA has not left you like it did me.

Hugs to all

Muggsey - I really don't trust the dollar store brands. If you are going to test I have read that First Response and EPT are one of the best to do. They detect some of the lowest levels of pregnancy but it is still not a guarantee. So if you test tomorrow make sure you get a good test. Good luck tomorrow and Happy B-day.

Hil - I wouldn't pay too much of interest on the statistics. If we went by the statistics I would be PG because I have unexplained infertility. Most people get PG in the first 12 months of TTC. My DH keeps on asking about stats and I just kind of blow him off. I know if I looked I could find them but I really don't want to know what the stats are. It is hard enough to keep PMA without having to look at what are the odds that this worked.

Val - Sorry you feel down today. I have been the same way, it is so hard to keep up PMA all the time. Every twinge, cramp, or sore boob I keep on thinking it might be working, but then other things will happen and I think it didn't work. You had some great blasts transfered so you have a really good shot at being PG.

Brit - Good luck on you Beta tomorrow. Sending you lots of BFP vibes.

Amanda - If we go on stats you have a great chance of being PG. I know I have heard that most RE's say that usually a person will be PG within 3 cycles. Third time is a charm.

As for me, my cramps are gone today so that makes me a little happier but I still have really bad PMA. This is how my body usually reacts before AF. I am POAS tomorrow so hopefully I will get a BFP!!!

I did a blastocyst 5dt and i promise that on the 4th day i had strange cramping sensation and then the next morning a little bleeding (implantation bleeding?). At any rate, I'm 20 weeks pregnant now with triplets, so don't worry if you don't feel anything withing the first 24 - 72 hours - it can take up to 4 days."

And then I found some other stuff: if you laugh instead of worry , your chances skyrocket
This is very interesting!!!

Where did you get this information from?
Which website is it from?

Thanks

Hi Girls

Anyone else have AF like cramps? I had some earlier today. Since my period wouldn't come until Sat I am thinking that it would be too early to be due to AF.

Hope everyone else is surviving the 2ww. I am suppose to go for my beta on Sat, but Hurricane Hanna might change that

Brit~ I was just on another website checking other women's beta numbers and I must say they are all over the place. These women are not doing IVF and some start low and others higher and the lower ones don't mean that the pregnancy is not viable.
Also, I read on your other post that their machine wasn't working properly. Are they really sure it's working properly now? Could you have your beta done at another lab to confirm. If I were you, I'd be tempted to do that!

When are you testing again? The worrying just never ends, does it?
Your next beta will be a good way to determine where you are at.

Good luck and CONGRATS on being pregnant!! :D :D

Thanks for the help. They said that they ran a controlled test and that they are sure that the machine is working properly now. My beta went up to a 214 today. I don't really know what to think since it did not quite double. I am very happy that it went up, I'm just not sure what to make out of it.

Brit - Congrats on your positive Beta. I wouldn't worry too much about it not doubling. From what I have read a lot of clinics do the doubling time in different increments in time. Your Beta did rise so as long as they keep rising you should be good. Once again Congrats on being PG.
