Anyone else use COOPER CENTER - NJ

Post by lilmd »

Has anyone out there had success or heard anything about Dr. Check at the Cooper Center? I think my next step is going to be with him since it doesn't seem like anyone locally is willing to work with high FSH patients for IVF. Any info. would help!

I have been been involved with 4 clinics for different reasons and it seems that they all have some sort of rotating schedule. What do you mean they don't do blasts?

Are you still with them? What was your experience with them? I would be using a local dr. for monitoring but getting direction from them on protocol and have to go there for the retrieval and transfer.

Blastocyst is where the embryo grows for 5-6 days so it is more mature.
Rma does the blast however it depends on the embryo if they will do it

Read up on it because if you don't have alot of eggs then they can't do it because the eggs would not survive to the blast stage.

I like the fact that they donated medication for us since we are paying out of pocket

We are using Rma in North Jersey

They work on a 2 week schedule so your dr will change.

Hi, this is fewsa's wife. I would highly recommend looking at rma. we were extremely unhappy with the other for multiple reasons. rma is pretty much the same price, but the service and compassion is immeasurable.... the professionalism is also hands down the best out of the places we researched.

I agree RMA is the best i am currently 15 weeks pregant nd i owe it to Dr. Flischer at RMA. I did three cycles with columbia and my first try with rma i became pregant. Because they care and they really studied me to know the right protocal I needed to have my little miracle.

lilmd, Please look into Sher haveababy.com

Their stats are wonderful and if anyone can help you with high FSH and your own eggs it would be them.

Good Luck

I think I failed to mention that I am from MD. The Cooper Center is about 1 1/2 hours away BUT they were willing to do have a local clinic handle all the monitoring.. do you know if this other clinic does the same.

A year or two back, I recommended someone here to see Dr. Check at the Cooper Center, since she had prior failures elsewhere. She had some issue with how they communicated with her, but she had success the first time. Dr. Check has some interesting insights.

RMA has a great reputation too, of course.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

Ghost,
I met with Dr. Check back in February and agree that he does have an interesting perspective and dedication to infertility. I did one natural cycle at the Cooper Center with all monitoring done at the Fertility Center of Maryland. The communication.. or lack of was very stressful. The first week I couldn't even get them to contact me at the right number so I never got to speak to a real person... after that I had to follow-up after each appointment with the local clinic and Cooper to ensure my test results were received. In saying that I feel like I may be forced to find a new clinic that is willing to treat me (high FSH). In saying that.. I would jump through hoops to get to the right place and have success!
