Hi everyone!

I am in the 2ww...HCG trigger 8/23 8pm...ER 8/26...ET 8/26, so I'm 7dp3dt.

I poas'd today...I wasn't going to...the stoplight at the intersection by the drug store turned red so I figured it was a sign and I turned into the parking lot. HPT was positive?!?

So it's early...too early? I did the "ept find out 5 days early" test. I've read different info, some say the body processes 1,000u HCG a day from the trigger so it should be gone, others say it takes 14 days. My beta is 9/9. Cautiously happy?

You said you had both the ER and the ET on 8/26. Was your trigger on 8/23 or 8/21?

Either way seems like good news to me :)

My boobs are a little sore, and I have some minor "cramps" for lack of a better word, like a pulling sensation that only lasts a minute or two. I have severe endometriosis, so I attribute these "symptoms" to the estrogen and I thought those endo cramps were coming back. I am surprised, hopefully it's not too early. I've never been pregnant and I didn't get diagnosed with the endo until it was pretty big, I just thought I was having bad cramps every month and my doc didn't seem too concerned.

I only did the test for fun, I took the test with the attitude it would be like calling a psychic hotline or a fortune telling machine. I guess I'll test again this weekend and see, I don't think I'm going to tell the DH until Sunday, to try to be a little more sure. I've read a ton of stuff on the internet, most say 10 days post trigger shot. So I guess we'll see! I have given myself permission to get excited, because even if I don't get excited and it's negative I will be just as disappointed. Life is short, so why not get excited now? We grieve the bad news, why not celebrate the good?

Good luck, baby dust to all!

9dp2dt......Negative

Post by Hil »

Do you think it is possible to get a Big FAT negative on 9dp2dt and still get a possitive??? I just POAS and got a negative.

The good news--- at least that proves that the HCG is DEFINITELY out of you system!!!!

Hi All,

I am also in the dreaded 2ww. ER 8/29 and ET 9/1 of 5 embies. I can NEVER wait so I POAS to see if trigger was out of system and got a BFN 6 dpt. I also posted a poll to see how soon you can see a BFP on a HPT. I go for BETA on 9/12 which is only 5 days away but it is driving me crazy.

Hil~ I have never POAS but from what the other ladies have gone through, it is very possible to get a negative on 9dp 2dt and still get a BFP. You are only 11 days past ovulation. Hang in there, some women don't have any symptoms and get a BFP!! Good luck, I hope the 2ww is not driving you too crazy.

hoping4~ Yeahhhh! Sounds like you've got yourself a BFP!!!
Have you POAS again and gotten another positive? You're too far along to get a positive from the trigger.

Amanda~ Good luck with your beta today and I can't wait to hear your fat BFP!! Only a few more hours before you find out!

As for me, I'm going tomorrow morning and hoping for my own BFP. The symptoms would suggest that I'm prego...I really hope I'm right!
My DH says that if I don't get a bfp that he would take me to the Dr. to figure out why I burp all the time and why I'm eating so much all the time.

Good morning, everyone!

I hope you are all staying positive!!!! I unfortunately have gotten another negative and really feel that I am not pregnant. (NO symptoms and I have been pregnant before and felt symptoms by this time...)

I have already mourned and am ready to move to my next plan. Does anyone know if you can do back to back IVF cycles? I have an appointment with my RE for Wednesday but like everything else--I hate not knowing! :-)

And everyone (Valarie, Lynnicat,Chris,T0haveFun, hoping4amiracle,Anie,Chris, Brit, and all other on this board) thank you so much for your encouragement during this process. It has helped so much to have a place to vent and get positive feedback. I think next time will be my turn!!! (I hope! I hope!)

Baby Dust to you all!!!!!!

It is official for me...I got a BFP today!! :D :D
My beta is 275 at 10dp5dt. I am so very happy and I'm still in shock.
But mostly I'm on cloud 9!!

Hang in there girls!!
Hil, I hope you get a BFP...but in case you don't, you can definitely do IVF back to back. I've seen some girls do it and get prego the second time!
Good luck, I wish you the best.

JJJake, hoping4~ Your beta is tomorrow. You are in my thoughts. Have you POAS?

Brenda~ I wish you the best with those 5 embies. I transferred 3 blasts and that scared me a little. I hope you get a BFP.

Hugs,

Hi. I am a new member, and wish I had found this forum earlier. It is so nice to see that others have as many questions as I have!

I am 37 and this is my 2nd ivf. The first one failed b/c my lining was old b/c the cycle was too long.

I am currently 11dp3dt. I took the First Response hpt at 9dp3dt, and it was negative. I have my beta test this Friday. I am just not that optimistic because I feel absolutely no symptoms, not even from the poi. I initially had tenderness and cramping, but that went away after a couple of days, so I attribute it to ohss. I read some posts that said not everyone feels symptoms, but shouldn't you feel something?

Kitgirl

You don't always get symptoms. I had some cramps 4 days before my beta and then the day before it I felt like i was getting my period. I had no symptoms. I got a BFP and my first beta was 565.

Someone else in the group... i think her post is a few pages ago, POAS got a BFN and the got a positive on her beta.

I know it is nerve racking but don;t give up hope.

Best wishes.
