Hi all, I am so proud of myself. All week I have been saying if I get that BFP then I was going to drown my sorrows, get drunk and have a pitty party. Well I haven't had an ounce of alcohol yet. I kind of don't really feel like drinking. Plus DH also isn't in the mood because he went out with a buddy of his last night and had too much. I hate to drink alone. Gosh I sound like a alcholic. Hello my name is Chris and I am a alcholic, my last drink was ??? gosh about 4 weeks ago. How time flies. I think really deep down, DH is trying to keep me from drinking because he knows I will get really deprest then. I don't really blame him.

Val - Sorry you feel down today. I know how hard it is to keep PMA all the time. Like I said previously this week, it was so easy in the first week to keep PMA, the second week is really the trying time because you are getting closer and closer to the day of finding out for sure if it worked or not. I think you have a lot of symptons and have a really good shot at being PG. Hope you will find some way to cheer yourself up.

Kas - Sorry to hear about your BFN. Sometimes I just want to yell our "Why me, what did I do so wrong to deserver this?" It is good that you are also getting right back into a cycle. Where in the midwest are you moving to? I live right outside St. Louis and have lived in the midwest all my life. It isn't so bad, but yes sometimes the winters do really suck, but then again I feel that I really do appreciate the spring time a lot more then I would if I had Sunny weather all the time. I find out on Monday what my next cycle will be. Hope to be a cycle buddy with you again.

Msfixit - 5 embies sound really good. I wish I would have had 5 to choose from, then I could have gone to a 5 day transfer.

Pawnster - Welcome to the board. Good luck on Stims.

Well hubby is bugging me now, gotta go.

Chris & Kas - I am so sorry about your BFNs  I was really praying for you guys. I was going to say have a big glass of wine, but sounds like Chris doesn't want any yet. Try a long hot bath and have a good cry. Sounds like you both are ready for your next cycle. So good luck you two!!!

Chris - when my cycle in June was BFN you told me that at least I made it all the way through a cycle so I will tell you the same thing. Good luck with your next cycle. Hoping number 2 is the one for you. Lots of hugs for you.

val- Hope you get your PMA back soon. It is so rare we see you down. Don't analyze all your symptoms!! You know you drive yourself crazy doing that. Not much longer to wait.

msfixit - Try not to worry that you only have 5. I only had 6 to start with and only 3 fertilized. Of those only 2 made it to transfer and I am now pregnant. So good luck with your 5.

Prawnster
- Good to hear from you and that you have already started again. Good luck this time.

Sorry if I missed anyone. Well, our first full day at Disney and it rained. A lot. A little sprinkle I don't mind but a couple of times we had downpour. Also my DH had food poisoning or something. He ended up have to go back to the room. I really hope tomorrow is better. have a good weekend everyone!!

Well ladies I of course got a BFN today also. I am now just waiting for AF to show. I figure it is going to be bad. How long after you stop your PIO does AF start?

Sorry not really feeling up to doing personals tonight.

muggsey - I had AF start the day of my beta during my first BFN while I was still on PIO. Then last month I stopped PIO on Tuesday and got AF on Friday. So sorry to hear of your BFN!

Chris and Kas - really sorry to hear about your BFNs too. I know how hard it is .

JJJake - great question, how to distract yourself during 2ww! I'll be getting a haircut tomorrow, planting some fall perennials (DH will be digging the holes), taking our dogs for walks, working :( .....oh and I will POAS in week or so.

toobee - yipee on the 11th hour BFP! I got a BFN when I POAS the night before the beta where I got a BFP so you never know.

Baby dust to all that I missed!

No symptoms for me yet - too soon anyway. I did get super sleepy and take a nap at lunchtime (one of the perks of working from home) but I think it's from either the PIO or from going off caffeine.

Thank you all for the encouraging words. We went to visit my best friend who knows what we're doing and really helped me feel better. She made me laugh so hard. It was a good thing to do.
I had dinner before I left home and by the time I got there, I was hungry. They were sitting down to dinner, so I joined them and ate quite a bit more. They were laughing at me so much, in total disbelief that I could be that hungry.
So my PMA is back and it feels good.
Now we have to deal with this monster storm and get the house all prepared. I can't do much and feel so bad for DH. We'll have to go hire someone to help. So many orchids and exotic plants in our yard and nowhere to put them!! I hope it doesn't get to be a cat.4 hurricane as that would be awful...brings back too many memories from Andrew.

Turtles~ Good to hear from you although I'm sorry that DH was feeling so bad and that Hannah gave you plenty of rain. Today should be beautiful for you!! Careful with your little bean in there!!

Muggsey~ I am so sad that you didn't get your BFP....and I know how sad you feel right now! Maybe you will get to try again soon after all.
I know you may not want to hear this right now, but you have 3 beautiful children that must fill your life with great joy right now. And as much as you want another baby, you are so fortunate to have 3 children. I really wish you the best and hope to see you again soon..if Dh changes his mind. ((((((HUGS)))))).

SueQiwi~ Thanks for your kind words!!! :D
Those bcps can really be a pain. You're a little closer to your BFP everyday!! I hope you get real good follies when you start your stims.
When are you starting? I keep you in my thoughts!!

I'm going to help DH with the preparations, although I will not lift anything heavy and won't do too much work. It's hard for me NOT to help him as I am a very active person but with the beanies that are in there, I can't take the chance.

Amanda~ One more day before you find out. Hang tight and keep yourself busy!! I think you have a bun in the oven too!!

Have a great Saturday and hugs to all!

Good Morning Ladies:

Kas, Muggsey and Chris. I am so so sorry. I was so hoping for a wonderful outcome for all of you. Keep your chins up, this time may not have been the plan for you, but such wonderful women with much love to give will have that chance.

msfix, Keep the faith. I am sure your baby is among those 5. They need your positive vibes

toobe, congrats on a BFP now keep those babies nice and cuddled

Stephanie Twins WOW!!!, get your rest now, because in about 7 months or so, you wont know what the word sleep means!!!

Amanda, Another days wait stinks but stay positive and know we are all with you

Val, If you are not feeling positve today, I wil feel it for you. you are such a special lady and I know that beta is going to be nothing less then amazing.

As for me, my donor started BCP yesterday I started them this morning. All the Meds also came yesterday and she went for all her bloodword including the FDA mandated infectious disease work. She is 21 and has the cutiest 2 yr old son. I am sure her FSH at 21 yrs old will be perfect. AHHHHH to be 21 and have all those young follies....LOL Looks like we could be doing her ER early Oct. I am so excited as is DH.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend. We wil be stuck in the house today due to the TS Hanna bringing some down pouring rain. OH well guess every weekend can't be beautiful.

Much Baby Dust to all. Now Bring on the BFP's

Good Morning All

Well Hanna turned out to be basically nothing but rain and a little wind. I'm not so disappointed for me not getting my test done today, but I am thinking about those girls at my clinic who might have had their ER or ET canceled today.

Much Hope - Yay on starting the BCP's. That is so exciting. What a wonderful friend to do that for you .

Valerie- I am so glad that you got your PMA back. I remember my first cycle I was always hungry. This time I am not much hungrier than usual. Only 2 more days to go. I can't wait to hear your beta number

Toobee- When is your next beta test? Seems like you might have 2 buns in the oven :)

Muggsey - I am so sorry you got a BFN. My thoughts are with you and your DH. I truly hope that you will be able to try again.

Misfixit- How are you feeling? Try to keep your PMA. Numbers don't always mean everything. I started with 15 eggies and after PGD only ended up with 3 to use. I'm sure you will get pregnant :)

Lnnie- Are you feeling any better after your trigger shot? Good luck with the ER and ET.

As for me I am just keeping myself busy today doing stuff around the house and might run a few errands later. Only 1 more day to go. I woke up without and spotting which is good. Not sure if the hormones would hold off AF. Does anyone know if I weren't pregnant if I would get AF while on progeterone tablets? Like Val I am keeping my eye on the next storm Ike. Not sure if it is suppose to hit near me yet. I am a northern transplant so I have never been through a real hurricane yet.

Sorry if I forgot anyone. Time to make a late breakfast.

Hugs to all.

Kas, Muggsey and Chris - So sorry to hear about your BFN's :(. It's good that you are trying to stay positive about it, though. Next time will be the charm! :)

lynnie - how did ER go? Are you feeling okay? How many eggs did they get?

Val - I have a good feeling about you. Just do. Every single thing you described in the last week and a half really points to being PG!

Thanks everyone for your support! I really appreciate it. I know that 5 embryos is a great number! I'm just terrified that they are just a little stronger than the 10 that couldn't make it past a few hours. :( I'm doing like you told me, though and am sending positive thoughts their way. To think that there are 5 little mes and DHs out there is mind boggling. I hope they stay strong. The theme song in our household is "Staying Alive" now! ;)

On the bad side, though, I'm in excruciating pain right now. On the day of ER I had some discomfort and cramping which subsided. But in the late afternoon yesterday, I've gotten much worse. My stomach is bloated and EVERYTHING inside is in horrible pain. I can't walk straight up. It hurts to move, it hurts to turn, it hurts to reach for anything. It even hurts to just sit or lay down :(. I've got some pain in my shoulders as well and this morning I started having pain spasms. It's like there's this base level of pain that doesn't go away and the spasms are on top of it. Like a wave of pain shooting from ovary to ovary every few minutes. Just horrible :(. The RE says it's normal and to ride it out. Doesn't seem normal to me.
Amanda - I assume this is happening because of a large number of eggs I had. Since you had quite a few, did you have any of these symptoms??

Misfixit~ I'm concerned about you because I don't think it's normal either. Follow your instincts and if they tell you it's not normal, don't hesitate to call your RE again and if he doesn't do anything, a trip to the emergency room might be in order.
After ER the first time, I was in horrible pain in the middle of the night...so painful I couldn't walk, lay down, sit down. I was screaming in pain.
I called my RE and told me to take a vicodin and see if the pain would subside. It took over an hour to do so and my RE was concerned with a twisted ovary. They are so big from all the follies that after the ER, sometimes they twist on themselves.

I don't want you to panic, but it DOES NOT sound normal.
Could you have OHSS? Do you have other symptoms? Something is causing it and it would be good to find the cause. Could be OHSS if you're bloated. Try to drink gatorade and salty foods, and more protein.

I feel so bad for you...let us know if you need more help.

Feel better very soon and I'll keep you in my thoughts. Any news on the embies?

Hugs,

Misfixit- Only all 3 of my cycles I felt worse two days after ER than the day of and the day after. I had many of the symptoms you described and it hurt until the day of ET. I had a 5 day transfer on all cycles.

Hello Ladies

Muggsey My heart goes out to you and DH, I am so sorry it didn't work out. Take some time and maybe another try will be in your future.

Msfixit- How horrible I am so sorry you are in so much pain. Have you tried a pain med? But I agree that much pain may mean something is worng don't wait if you feel you need to go to the ER or call that doctor. THat is what we pay them for.

Val- So glad you are feeling more positive again. You are our head cheerleader and saddens me to hear you so down.

Lynnie- can't wait to hear how the ER went.

MuchHope So exciting on BCP's already. You are going to have some wonderful embies this time around.

Well I got the call I trigger tonight at midnight. My follies got nice and plump last night. I now have 10 between 17 and 22 and 3 over 16 with an e2 of 2074. What a difference a cycle makes. For everyone that ahs a bad first cycle just look at me. My first cycle I only had 5 follies and only made it 7 days on stims.
Each step in this process is so much like running a hurdle race. Just a few more hurdles to get over.

Have a great day!!!
