BARBELLA

Post by Thechosenone »

Hello BARBELLA, I was reading your postin on Jan FET....anyway, i saw in your sig that you had both your tubes removed...was that your only cause of IF?
that is the only problem with us. I have managed to get pregnant 4 times w/o IVF but all m/c 3 were in my tube, hence the removal.and one was a chemical. I got pregnant with my 2nd IVF but it result in a blighted ovum at 7 weeks. My question to you was what was your protocol if you can remember for the FET? also i think you did 2 IVF cycle then a FET? I can't remember and i just viewed your sig. Anyway, any news will help about what protocol you were on and how many you trf and what did you do in the tww.

Hi there Thechosenone

I had my tubes removed as I had Endometriosis, and this is our only reason why we had to have IVF. My protocol was the usual one 3 weeks for synarel Nasal Spray (it was 3 weeks as our clinic was busy I think it is normally 2 weeks) then 9 days of the injection Gonal F for stimulation then the final Injection. My first IVF I did not get BFP, I had frozen from this cycle so I transfered 2, the FET cycle was Nasal again for 3 weeks then I went on HRT tablets for the remaining 2 weeks (I think it was 2 weeks) to thicken the womb lining, I got a BFP BUT m/c at 8 weeks the sac was not growing. My 2nd cycle the same as the first and got BFP. The TWW I had one day after transfer resting up, then travelled back home from the UK and was back to work 2 days later. I was told that was all I had to do. (If you are in USA I think your drugs maybe called something different)

Hope this info helps and Good Luck....xxxxx Barbarella

Hi girls ~

I miss all of you. I haven't been checking online as much because it didn't seem like anyone was posting and I missed Barbarella's news!

Barbarella~ Fantastic news, you graduated!!! I am so happy for you. Now just the lovely monthly visits. Where are the pics you said you were going to post??? Yes, I had the down syndrome blood testing and U/S. It I can remember right you are supposed to have the test before the end of 13 weeks??? I can't remember now. Yes, the diabetes should be gone after I deliver the placenta. Sucky thing is I will probably have a 90% chance of developing diabetes within a few years I think they said. My whole family on my mother's side has it, so I probably will as well. But I am trying to control it with diet and excersise.

Faith ~ Wow~ Clomid and no shots. That is fantastic news. You are going to come out with 5 babies. LOL! I am getting so excited for you. I can hardly wait.

Everyone else - hello and I miss you all. Here are some pics from a 3D U/S we had done. She was head up and her face was in my placenta and she wouldn't wake up for nothing so it was hard to get a good shot, but wanted to share. I also am including some pics of me. Scary....but believe it or not I have only gained 11,1/2 pounds so far.

Lots of love,

Donni

Hi girls!!!

Donni- So great to see those pics Donni- those 3D scans are so neat- she's beautiful! And you look great- that's neat how you took that picture sort of like a shadow. So glad all is going well for you!

Barbarella- That's wonderful that you "graduated". You must be so excited! Hope you are feeling good.

Faith- So when will you start the Clomid? That's great that you are trying something different and definitely cool that you can skip the shots! Good luck!

Take care all, Laura

How's everyone doing? My hystroscopy appt. is next Friday

Here's a fun joke I just got emailed, thought it was funny! :D

SPAGHETTI
For several years, a man was having an affair with an Italian woman.
One night, she confided in him that she was pregnant. Not wanting to ruin His reputation or his marriage, He paid her a large sum of money if she would go to Italy to secretly have the child. If she stayed in Italy to raise The child, he would also provide child support until the child turned 18. She agreed, but asked how he would know when the baby was born.
To keep it discrete, he told her to simply mail him a post card and write 'Spaghetti' on the back. He would then arrange for the Child support payments to begin.

One day, about 9 months later, he came home to his confused wife. 'Honey, 'she said, 'You received a very strange post card today.'
'Oh, just give it to me and I'll explain it later,' he said. The
wife obeyed and watched as her husband read the card, turned white, and fainted.

On the card was written:

'Spaghetti, Spaghetti, Spaghetti, Spaghetti, Spaghetti.

Three with meatballs, two without.

Send extra sauce.

Beth- So good to see you pop in! Hope you are doing well. I just work every other weekend at night and stay home with ds the rest of the time- but it does take me days to recover from working those 3 twelve hour nights- but it works out well around dh's schedule and gets me out of the house to make extra $ and be around adults. Again, hope you are doing good.

Faith- How was your appt?? Hope it went well.

Donni- Look forward to seeing your next pics- hope you are feeling good.

Barbarella- How are you? Hope you are feeling good- have you had any more scans recently?

Hi girls ~ I am having a B-day party for my youngest (soon to be one of the middle girls) - she is turning 14. Anyhoo - wanted to update you all. I still have a ways to go...but I have been losing my mucus plug for about a week now. I realize I can go on like this for weeks and weeks, but wanted to update you all anyway.

Have a wonderful weekend ladies!

Wow Donni, how exciting!!! Yah, you better keep us updated!! Could be now, who knows!!! Only little Addie does! You would be quite a bit early! But when she's ready, she's ready!!! My cousin delivered 2 of her boys a month early and they were both still over 7 lbs. Keep us updated!

Well my hystography went fine, I didn't have anesthesia or any locals or anything, I was brave...and it wasn't bad at all. My RE reccomended they do another lapascopy because of the uterine shape. I don't think I'm going to do it though. It is what it is, getting pregnant wouldn't be impossible, so we'll see! Sooooo, I'll let y'all know what the plans are. I might go ahead with a FET next month, which they still said I could do. We're not sure yet though.

How you doing everyone else??

Haven't gotten any good jokes today...hehe

OKAY, so maybe I do have one joke!! haha

A 6 year-old and 4 year-old are upstairs in their bedroom.
'You know what?' says the 6 year-old. 'I think it's about time we
started cussing.'

The 4 Year-old nods his head in approval.

The 6 year-old continues, 'When we go downstairs for breakfast, I'm
gonna say something with 'hell' and you say something with 'ass.'

The 4 year-old agrees with enthusiasm.

When their mother walks into the kitchen and asks the 6 year-old what
he wants for breakfast, he replies,

'Aw hell Mom, I guess I'll have some Cheerios.'

WHACK! He flies out of his chair, tumbles across the kitchen floor,
gets up, and runs upstairs crying his eyes out with his mother in hot
pursuit, slapping his rear with every step. She locks him in his
room and shouts, 'You can stay in there until I let you out.'

She then comes back downstairs, looks at the 4 year-old and asks with
a stern voice, 'And what do YOU want for breakfast, young man?

'I don't know,' he blubbers, 'but you can bet your fat ass it
won't be Cheerios.'
