I can put hers on my head and it's far too big. What a party trick?

She has to order hers from a particular place but don't know where. I am quite relieved I don't have problems getting bras. The price she has to pay is rediculous.

Do you think you might feed at first to give them the colostrum?

KK - blimey - Jordan would be pleased or jealous - what does KK stand for Knockers and Knockers.
Dagny you do make me laugh - it does not matter what size they are - my friend had them the size of rose buds and still produced loads of milk.
The colustrum can be expressed out - prob better with an electric one as some babies go into ICU so can't suck - (no funny remarks from either of you)
Nik are you wearing nipple pads now for leaks?
Glad you are both ok

I'm glad you two have had a busy afternoon!!! Anything to keep your posts up! Dagny you must be in the top ten soon with the amount you post - you do as many as we do!!!

In answer to your serious question about breast feeding - I'm not intending to do any direct feeding, I just can't get my head round it, it makes me feel sick. I'll force myself to express so I don't get sent on a guilt trip but thats it!

TS - did I tell you they had leaked? How revolting! I'm ignoring it and hoping it was a one off - I'm not intending to start messing around with pads and stuff until I absolutely have to!

I don't need any extra padding in my bras thank you very much!!!!

Nik
It will be the start of the colustrum - the easiest way to minimise leakage and not being funny is try not to stimulate - ie in a hot bath or shower as this makes it produce more. If this fails - pads it has to be hun!

Do you not think its a bit early for colustrum?? It could be baths - I do love a nice bath at night!! They started leaking in the middle of the day though so this was a bit wierd! Fortunately they haven't done it since, maybe it was a one off!!

I'm not adding anymore padding, I'll have to go and buy BIGGER bras cos these ones won't fit if I have extra padding in there too!!

Fraid not re the colustrum. If you read some of em pg books I think they say it can start at something ridiculous like 18 weeks - ooooo er! It will not be all the time and you might get away with it for a while without the pads and more new bras - expensive isn't it. Like a plonker the one I got from George is going to be too small already - I did not allow for daily growth - they seem to be spreading width ways - soon they will be coming out of my armpit - sorry Dagny.
Take care

Great!

I've found with boobie growth - they haven't actually grown any bigger (too big to start with - sorry dagny!) but because the bump is so high (and low!) I need to get bigger round the back to stop them digging in. My boobs actually look smaller now than they normally do because they just sit on this huge beach ball underneath!

You can try some of mine (non-leaking ones!) that I bought at the beginning, I think I've got a couple I've not even worn! I'm so crap.

Its definitely worth asking for professional help because they make you buy ones that will fit for the next few weeks rather than fit right now. The ones I bought last week, still had room to grow, which is what we need.

I'm hoping they might last till the end...........wishful thinking probably!

Hunny that is wishing thinking re lasting to the end but I know you well enough to know you don't believe it yourself. They take on another spurt just before the birth I believe - yikes and there is all that time in between - thanks re the offer - will do so. I know what you mean about them spreading - I guess when I get a big bump they will look smaller - at the moment they look as wide as Ayers Rock!!!
I was always professionally measure before - this time thought I would wear all those and then go and get measure - they do allow for growth - I am already growing out of mine so off I go again for more supplies this week - I know I need them as I have a mark underneath when I take them off which suggests I am wearing too small a bra size as opposed to too small a cup - I am on the last bit of the M&S ones too - the biggest part - oh well.
Sorry Dagny - to be honest they are a nighmare in the night as are very heavy and take up extra shower gel!

Where is Dagny?? She has been quiet since Friday....in fact she has been quiet since her mum turned up with her credit card. Maybe she is trying to outdo my 8 hours and is going for an 8 day shopping spree!!!!

My mum is coming to Leeds for the day next Saturday, she wants to do a bit of shopping and lunch at HN....the usual. Only this time she will be allowed to go in baby shops - I've banned her up until now because she would get carried away......!

At Christmas everybody was told not to buy any presents for the 'twins' because it was too early and we didn't want to tempt fate etc... so everybody apart from my mum did as they were told. But no, she had to buy a few bits (as she puts it!). To be fair, what she bought was really lovely - she went to a twins shop when she was shopping in new york and bought two matching vests that say "a pair" on them and she also bought a Steiff Mohair Paddington Bear - bless.

I'll let her loose in baby gap next Saturday......should sort out our lack of clothes issue!!

Dagny - has your mum been spending??? Where are you????

N you are right where is Dagny - they are probably being locked in a store until they spend millions and the plactic melts!
Your Mum will have a lovely time - how exciting - my mum has not done what she has been told either - I am sure if I open the cupboard doors in the spare room it will come tumbling out! She spent loads getting things for Oliver - I know she went and got something at Xmas in the sales as I saw the bag! - honestly I was only 7 wks then! Bless them - enjoy you won't have to worry about the clothes issue - what about your dad or is he sulking?

Dad is not so much sulking since I told him he could buy the highchairs (even though we don't need them for at least another six months!!!) he is now just getting impatient because we won't decide which ones we want.....honestly!

Do I sound like a really ungrateful *****? I'm not, not at all. I love the fact they want to buy things, I just wish they'd realise that in the whole scheme of things a highchair is not really our top priority at the moment and we just haven't had chance to go and look at some to decide which we want!!! Arrgghh.....he does drive me mad!!

My mum is cool - she just does as she pleases and makes sure I don't find out!

Still no Dagny???????

ps trace, do you get the feeling everyone else apart from us has a life!!
