Ghost/Nurse Low Beta.

Post by JJJAKE »

Hello I've just been told that I am pregnant but I'm concerned about my beta numbers. It's only 97, it is my first beta so is that good? Is there a chance that I may be dealing with a chemical pregnacy or ectopic? I maybe comparing to much to the other women but I am a little bummed. Can ya help?

First, congratulations, you are pregnant!!!

It's a little low, but not too bad.

When was it taken? (This means, how many days after the transfer of embryos and at what stage. For example, "14 days after day 3 transfer", or "10 days after day 5 transfer" are common answers).

Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

Here's a link with a beta chart and you are 14 dpo. that number is listed between 50 and 100. You are at the high end. DO NOT WORRY! You are pregnant!!

JJJAKE I just wrote you on another post :) so I cut and pasted this :)

The only thing with regards to betas you should be concerned with is a beta that does not rise like it should. Now I am not saying that high beta numbers are not indicative sometimes of multiples or low betas arent a cause of worry, I am just saying that betas are a gauge and everyone is differant. My RE said to me that anything over 50 at 9dp5dt was considered promising :)
I have read woman who went on to have healthy triplets with beta numbers for what would be expected for a singleton. I have read that some woman have crazy high betas and only had a singleton. Our betas only calcualte the amount of pregnancy hormone we are producing and some woman are just high HCG producers and some dont produce as much. I also read, which I hope I understand, is the HCG is created from the placenta or the amniotic sac, not the fetus.
