Got baby Names? Post Them Here!

Post by SilverAngel679 »

Hey every one. I just thought that I'd start a fun thread for us all. My husband and I are 9 weeks 1 day along with twins and we already have our names picked out for any combo we might have.
I thought maybe you ladies would like to share as well. You could post no matter how far along you are and even if you don't know what your having. It would be fun to see what names are popular now and why we chose them.
Here are mine:

Boy/girl:
Santino Joseph and Sophia Jennifer
(Jennifer is my husbands sister and we thought this would be cute because we already have a Sarah Jade)

Boy/Boy:
Santino Joseph and Tomasso Gabriel
(Tomasso is my husbands father, my husband is Thomas. We would call the baby Tommy after my husband but have him actually be named after my father-in-law. Is that 2 birds with 1 stone or what?)

Girl/Girl:
Sophia Jennifer and Gina Helen
(Helen is for my mom whose an angel watching over us all)

I can't wait to hear yous!!!
Me: Liz, 29 (Healthy)DH: Tom, 28 (Male factor)
IVF#1: BFN
IVF#2: BFP (m/c @ 14weeks)
IVF#3: BFP Twin Boys, born 3/23/09

Our baby is 15 days old today. It took us a while to pick the perfect name because I am a teacher and alot of names are associated with children I have had in the classroom. DH and I also knew that boy or girl, we wanted to use our first names as the baby's middle name, so when we found out we were having a girl, we needed a first name that went well with Michele as a middle name. When we came across Ella (at about 18 wks pregnant) we knew it was perfect and stuck with it. Ella Michele, and she is just as beautiful as her name! Enjoy picking names, it was fun. We found a really neat website you might want to check out for names. It was babynamesworld.parentsconnect.com. It was our favorite site, you could pick a name, see the origin, meaning, us popularity rank and then there were additional tabs you could click that surveyed people with the name. They asked them things like, did anyone ever make fun of your name, and do you like your name, and what nicknames did you get called. Check it out.

I am 28 weeks today and our daughter is named Katherine Sue Ann. We will call her Katie. The Sue is after my mother, who passed away on May 2nd of this year quite unexpectedly and the Ann is after my DH's mother. She has like five names, so we didn't think four would be so bad.

If it was a boy, we had the middle name, which would have been Richland (Rich after DH's Dad Richard and land after my Dad (also an angel in heaven) Wayland.

We are having a girl and her name will be Michaela Skye.

My husbands name is Glenn Michael. He hates the name Glenn so we used his middle name for our daughter. I friend of mine who moved away many years years ago named her first daughter Skye and I always adored that name so I sorta stole it (hehe).
