"How big are you!!!"

Post by Nikola »

Hello Girls

I just had lunch with one of my clients and her opening line to me was - OMG How Big are you! She then went on to tell me that she was never this big, even when she gave birth to her daughter.........

I nearly said to her, I'm only 9.5 sheets of toilet roll!!!!

Nikola

I darent measure with the loo roll - I dont think they make them big enough!!
Everyone keeps asking if I'm having twins. I'm 29 wk and 3 days and I am enormous. When I went for my 20 wk scan 'babe' measured 3 days bigger than due date. I keep saying that its water - when my waters go they will issue a flood warning!!!!

How come your client can be so rude - I ask you - did you tell her off???? I am always getting told off - you are giving me a complex again - I have eaten two sausage rolls straight after breakfast to try and make myself bigger for next weekend.
Weighed myself today and not put on much wait which I decided was a good thing for the first trimester - now I am in the second can put it on now - I mean they don't need it the first do they and I seem to remember you and Lisa I think lost some as you were so sick - is that right?

Di, you are allowed to be huge at 35 weeks!!! You won't have to put up with it for much longer.........how exciting.

Tracey - no weight on is good! I didn't put any weight on in the first 14weeks either cos I was too busy being sick! But boy have I made up for it since......hee hee. Get stuffing your face and stop worrying about it!

Bertie, when I went for my 20 weeks scan BOTH my babies measure a week and 4 days bigger than a singleton - so I reckon I've got two bruisers on my hands! I don't want this to sound like I'm bragging, I'm NOT, I'm bloody terrified!!!

DI like Nikola says you are allowed to be - how very rude - I mean you don't go around commenting on their weight do you - people think they have the right to say what they want - we have had it all through IVF and now get it through PG it seems. SOD 'EM
Nikola I reckon yours will be a good weight but that is good though
Today I have eaten several sausage rolls and goodness knows how many hot cross buns with blackberry jam - oh and a satsuma and kiwi fruit for good measure - don't want it all going on my bum and my boobs don't need much help at the moment - think they are enjoying themselves with another growing phase as pretty sore again and are squashed on the end when I take my bra off which suggests bra too small again!!! Saw some second hand ones on e bay but the thought of it almost brought my nasea back on - will do some things but not those I feel - especially when you are not sure who has been in them!

Hi Girls!

I am still around but I've worked all of this week (mad fool) so haven't had time to post anything. And the amount that Nikola and Dagny have written this week, I nearly haven't had time to read all of the posts - please spare some consideration for those of us running round after two children trying very hard to reach the Terrible Twos! :x

I'm sorry but eBay maternity bras is vomit inducing! It took me long enough to pluck up the courage to buy children's clothes on there.

We're off to Stoke-on-Trent for a few days because there's a chance that DH may be relocated there. Do any of you know anything about Stoke? Would I fit in there do you think?! Answers on a postcard.

Thank heavens it's half-term next week; anyone fancy Daniel and Charlotte for a week so that I can have a few days to pamper myself?!

Take care.

Love Jules

HI
after being poorly and losing a stone the weight is very much back on (thankfully) now 17 weeks went to midwife on Tuesday and she said my uterus was where a single 21 week pregnancy would be and I heard the heartbeats for the first time, it was great. Do other twin heartbeats beat differently?? . Then measured myself properly and I am just over 8 sheets of Andrex.

Started to look at buying things now, very scary experience.

Take care all

Hi Jules

Stoke is where Robbie Williams is from!!!!!!!!!! Most important info I know about the place. I was going to ring you this week but my mum is here all week so I will call you next week to arrange something.

TS, why don't you go the whole hog and buy maternity knickers too on eBay!!

Lisa, I lost a stone and a half from being so sick at the beginning but the weight is gradually creeping back on. I am 22 weeks and 4 days now and I look like I have swallowed a beach ball. All out the front - so I think it's a boy. I am glad you got to hear the heartbeats. It's lovely listening to them beating away inside you. I remember hearing ours for the first time just before xmas and I got quite emotional.

Be good everybody - if you can.

Love Dagny xx

Honestly you lot!!!!!!!!!!!
I found it puke making even the thought of bras on there - who the hell in their right mind would advertise those???!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They had some lovely jeans from next and then when I paged down bras and swimming cossie - yuk - as for knickers DAgny I am ignoring you
Glad you are ok Jules - SToke hey - mmm you won't fit in - too classy you are - it really is a bit of a dive - oops better be careful - it has it's good points but it is all potteries land there - my parents were in Uttoxeter half an hour away. They know how to drink in Stoke - give em that - go outside - nice villages.......... think I will finish there incase I upset the entire database.
Well off to do some cleaning - the house looks a tip
Hope all had a great weekend - ate far too much last night and feel a right bloater today.

Well done Trace, how to piss off an entire nation in one easy post!!! I actually think people from Stoke are grrreeeatt!! (just like a bowl of frosties!!)

Jules, wondered where you had gone. Things have gone down hill since you've been away - please don't leave us unsupervised for such long periods of time! We turned the website into Animal Hospital.......I was expecting Rolf Harris and his digeridoo (sp!!) to post at any second!!

TS - glad you've decided to give the ebay undies the wide-berth! Let me know what else you are bidding for so I can watch! I promise not to out-bid you!!

I'm determined to have a quiet week next week, lots more relaxation and less rushing around. Doctors orders - how coooool!!

Nik
I made no comment on the people - they are fab - just the aesthetic quality of the area - and many would agree it is not beautiful in parts! Think will stay well clear.
Did you press the button twice on purpose or are you still in the kitchen because DH is working on my web site - I am so sorry - hope he has not been busy on it all weekend and spent time with you.
