How does the RE diagnose a patient with DOR? What numbers would start to classify DOR?

A diagnosis of DOR is usually based on cycle day 3 FSH levels in the blood or on antral follicle count. The criterion for FSH is usually set between 8 and 10, and exceeding that criterion indicates DOR.ava wrote:How does the RE diagnose a patient with DOR? What numbers would start to classify DOR?
The criterion for antral follicles is usually between 8 and 10 follicles, with fewer than that indicating DOR.
So a patient with 6 antral follicles and an FSH of 11 would be diagnosed as DOR at almost all clinics.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
Whether the RE is more accurate, I don't know, but his clinic will do things a certain way so that the results will be consistent with other results at that clinic.ava wrote:Also has anyone had their follicle count done by an outside entity than their doctor and got a lower count?
