GHOST?? Anyone??

Post by RSC »

I decided not to do acupuncture, thinking that the stress of it would be worse than the benefit. But now I keep reading about all the people who have done it and succeeded with IVF.

Now I am freaking out! Should I go in for a last minute acupuncture frenzy (ER is on Monday or Tuesday!)? Or just let it go?

Does it really matter?

I really want my first IVF to work!! I am not getting any younger--or any richer!

Not to worry.

Acupuncture 'no help for IVF'

There is no evidence acupuncture improves the success of IVF treatment, scientists say.

The complementary therapy has been used for centuries in China to aid female fertility and it is now available privately via some NHS clinics.

But the London-based researchers told a European fertility conference an analysis of 13 trials covering almost 2,500 women did not show any benefits.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

Ghost or anyone else- uneven blastomeres

Post by lynniecat »

So although my 6 cell embryo was graded as highest quality by the lab, they said it had very slightly uneven division.

Do we know how much this affects pregnancy rates? There was 0 fragmentation.

Just wondering as I sit here at 5 DPO mulling over my chances of success.

oopsies meant to make my comment a new post...sorry.

I have decided I don't believe in acupuncture. Bad experience maybe, but there is no way my sessions could have helped me. She use a technique where needles were not inserted and she just touched them to me...ummm yeah....I just do not believe that works.

I have had 3 transfers, all BFP's, and never done accupuncture. To each his own, some think it helps, and if you do then do it.
