hi priya, lynnie, kerry, soready, chris (good to see you on here!) and anyone else out there.

priya and lynnie- congrats on a successful ET!! :D :D i wish there was a smiley face named 'babydust'

anyways, DH and i are celebrating an anniversary :D and i got a raise at work today :D :D ..so life is ok...still haven't made a final decision on when to cycle and the DHEA thing..but i chattted with a dr i work with today, and he did some research for me (how lucky is that!!), and he provided some positive input on DHEA being very unlikely to harm me, and that the preliminary research is promising..........sooooo.. i'll make my final decision in a few days as i'll need to order meds and confirm with my clinic if we're going ahead this month.

wishing all a wonderful night!! lots of love, karen

Hey Guys:

soready - All the best with the ER today. Hope you get good number of eggs. Thinking of you. Let us know how it goes.

Karen - Congrats on the raise :) :) - Good news !!!! Is it your wedding anniv you celebrated? Am glad you got +ve feedback from the doc - this is encouraging - will help make your decision. Click a pic of ur meds when they come with u in the background and send it to us :) So you are in medical profession as well just like Kerry.

Lynnie - How are you doing? When is your beta? You keeping yourself busy not thinking abt it ;)

Kerry - All the best with the appointment tomorrow. Hope it goes the way you want it to go. Let us know how it goes. Do you again work on the weekend?

Sue - How are you? Next week is the last week for you for BCPs right.

As for me - I called up the doc to ask abt the embryo and have not got the call back - will try again. But I was reading online and seems like my embryo had started to "compact" (stage before balst) when the transfer was done. Its said that a compacting embryo with less fragmentation has chances of implantation - so am going with that :) - rest will know on 20th.
Am trying to relax and rest as much as I can for the first few days. Glad weekend is coming - my mind will be off this since we will be busy with friends but I will be checking in for new posts :).

Have a good day guys.
Talk to you soon
Love

Hey everyone, hows it going? I am really obsessed with my little embryos! Trying to get my mind off of it, but its very hard. Its 5 DPO today and I keep wondering if I will feel anything! I know its too soon, but I am still hoping!

Priya, compacting at 3 days! That sounds very promising! That little one is in a hurry to be in your arms!

Hi all

sorry I didn't check in yesterday, busy day. I had work in the morning, then my neices and the reflexology.

Priya: reflexology is a foot massage to promote balance within the body, all the bodies organs are mirrored in the feet, therefore applying pressure to reflex zones in the feet can heal and repair. I treated my sister during her fertility treatment, she only had an 8% chance of conceiving and from 1 frozen embryo and she is pg now. I hope your doing well today, it sounds great that your little embie was at the pre blastocyst stage, I'm really excited for you. I hope you have fun at the weekend with your friends. I've marked the 20th on my calendar soon be there

Lynnie: I'm just like you I do totally obsess when in the 2ww, I think its hard not to, you look for any sign and its just agonising. What is the actual date you test, I hope your able to spend time with people to try and keep your mind occupied over the weekend. Have you seen the movie Women, its just come out over here it looks pretty good, you should maybe check it out. take care. :)

Karen: congrats on your anniversary, thats also good news on the feedback regarding DHEA, I really hope it helps you make your decision. Lucky you with the raise, send some of that luck over here if you can  You go and buy yourself something nice. Buy shoes or something like Priya did a few weeks ago, it seemed to be therapeutic for her :) take care.

sue: I hope your ok this evening and hanging in there on the bcp's, each day is one closer to starting your stims :)

Soready: I hope your ER went well today, hopefully your chilling out at the moment and your DH is waiting on you. Let us know how you got on :)

Well I have been at work again today, I must be a wanting punishment, I feel like I'm never away from work this week. I have been on the premises everyday this week, even tomorrow when I have my appointment it is where I work and all the girls say pop in and let us know how you got on. I was supposed to be off the weekend but due to staff sickness I am needed on saturday for a long day (13 hour shift) Fishing for sympathy now  but hey atleast I'm getting overtime, we never get that so I said I would only do it for o/t pay, what can I say, I need the pennies.

I'm off sunday so I will be taking it easy before another week begins. I will check in on everyone.
take care girls

Hey Guys:

How is everyone doing?

Kerry - I hope your appointment with the doc went well. Hopefully you will have easy shift tomorrow :). Have a relaxing Sunday.

Soready - Hope you are resting after the ER - let us know how many eggs were retrieved and the fertilization report.

Lynnie - I have not felt anything as well. But this time I am trying not to think abt it as well. For my first cycle - I was analyzing everything and driving myself crazy...so this time I am not thinking abt it and not trying to notice anything :(

I did talk to the RE and they confirmed that the embryo was 8 celled when they put it in - so am relieved and happy.

As soon as I fee something I will let you know Lynnie :) - I hope I do feel something :)

have a good weekend ladies

Lynnie~Just keep visualizing those embies emplanting and dividing! Relax--and be good to yourself. Eat your favourite foods and watch your favourite movies. Take it easy--you are pregnant girl!

Priya~Im glad to hear that your embie was already 8-cell at transfer! I think you have a good shot--keep the good thoughts flowing and visualize a healthy pregnancy for yourself. You are pregnant too!

Karen~I saw on another thread that you are having abdominal pains? Have they gotten any better? Do you know what was causing it? Please take care of your self and let us know everything is ok!

Kerry~Do let us know how your appointment went and about your plan of action. I hope you got the answers you needed and that you are feeling hopeful for the future.

SoReady~We have not heard from you in a while--I hope all is well. please let us know about your egg retrieval. I am thinking of you and hoping for good news.

I am STILL just taking my BCPs. Thank goodness this Friday will be the last one! All this waiting around has been playing head games with me! Normally I am a patient person--but lately I feel really frustrated and just want to get this show of the road! Feeling a little down and crazy today.

Hi everyone,

Priya and Lynnie: I hope your both doing well and not going too crazy with the wait. I know its difficult not to analyze symptoms but try and keep your PMA I know it did help me get through my last cycle. Priya that is great news that you embie was 8 cells, I have a really good feeling it is going to stick, I'm excited for you. Lynnie try to stay calm, we're all here for you :)

Sue: I'm glad your finished your BCPS and now hopefully things can get started, I'm sure it will go really fast from now. Know that we are all here for you when your feeling down :) :)

Karen I hope your doing well, Have you properly recovered from your hysteroscopy. Let us know how your doing, thinking of you.

Soready I hope your well and following your ER Keep in touch we're all thinking of you too.

Well I had my appointment on Friday and actually it went better than I thought it would. I asked all the questions that I wanted to. He is not sure whether it is an implantation problem or whether the embryos just didn't implant for unexplained reasons. I asked him about doing a hysteroscopy and biopsy as I read on another thread that this is helpful, he agreed and said the pregnancy rates actually increase following a hysteroscopy and biopsy. Therefore I am scheduled to have one on the 25th of this month. Then I am going to do a FET the following month. I did ask could it be an unmedicated cycle, oestrogen only, no down regulation like the last FET, he said as long as I am ovulating he doesn't see a problem. Lets hope the royal jelly continues doing its job and I wont have to start taking metformin again.

Well I have today off, so DH and I are busy getting things ready to start our new business and I'm back to work tomorrow. I hope your all having a great weekend.

Take care and stay well

Hello Ladies!
I haven’t been around these last few days because things have been hectic. I did have my ER on Thursday at 9:40 am. Right after the retrieval, I went over to my parents to relax and for them to babysit me. My husband had to get back to work. We’ve had a lot of rain, and I’ve been having issues with my internet. Saturday my parent’s house flooded so I went to help them clean up after the water went down. Of course, they were all telling me to sit down and not do anything, but they are over 60 and I couldn’t just let my brother and his wife do it all so I wanted to help. They would only let me help with simple stuff.

Priya and Lynnie: Congrats on your ET’s! I can only imagine how the 2ww will be….well, at least for now, I’ll be doing it myself soon.
:) Even though it's driving you nuts right now, I'm sure it's very exciting also.

Karen: Congrats on the raise! And, I’m glad you also finally heard something positive regarding DHEA from a Dr you know and trust. Here are a couple positive situations that will lead to others! :D

Kerry: It seems like you are as busy as I am these days. Aren’t we supposed to be relaxing? I thought you were supposed to be taking it easy today, it doesn’t sound like it. :P I’m also glad to hear your doctor’s visit went well. He sounds very positive.

Sue: Once you stop the BCP, the remaining days before ER will go fast, at least it did for me. The BCP felt like forever, but then it was fast. Even my DH was like, already?

A little more about me…
The ER went really well, I have to say I felt pretty good after. They retrieved 18 eggs. I was like wow. Excited and nervous at the same time. :D
On Friday, I received the call that 13 fertilized and they were going to let me know on Saturday if I was going to do a 3 day or 5 day transfer. I was a little annoyed because I told them to call my cell phone over the weekend because I knew I was going to be in and out of my house. They did it on Friday, but not on Saturday. I was out Saturday and didn’t hear their message until I got home around 4:30 (they called around 1:00) and I missed them. They said my ET will be on Tuesday, but they didn’t give me any info on how many embryos I have and how they are doing. They said in the message that they will call me on Monday with a time, so I will definitely be asking questions then.

I have school tomorrow evening so you probably won’t hear from me again until after the ET, either Tuesday evening or Wednesday.

Baby dust to all!

hi ladies....hope you all are well..

how's the dreaded 2ww going priya and lynnie? i hope you're just enjoying yourselves and thinking positive. i remember overanalyzing every possible potential symtoms and making myself KOOKY! hope you can avoid this. i remember when i was pg- before i knew, i was horribly tired a few days, and 1 day wanted to eat all the oranges i could find. other than that - no symptoms.

sue- glad you're getting closer to stims. i relate to feeling down- i'm better today, but yesterday i was sooo blue and fearful. sometimes the closer i get to stims i feel like the closer i'm getting to failure and a horrible, life altering reality that i can't birth a child. and i feel like my life is on hold and that i just want to scream. i hope things are looking up for you.. what i've learned about these times for me- is that they pass. i need to honor my feelings, & vocalize them (to someone who's not going to piss me off with their response).

soready- wow! big numbers. bummed you didn't hear how many embies you have now, but 13 fertilized!! that's awesome. best of luck with your transfer!

kerry- great to hear you're moving forward- and the hysteroscopy can improve things!!! wow, good news for you and me. it's wonderful you got your questions answered.

as for me (and you saw on the other thread sue), i was FREAKING out friday that the DHEA was causing pain deep in my reproductive areas- i was soo scared cause i ddin't know what it was, and if the DHEA was causing it- and if that meant DHEA was working or killing any positive fertility left in me.

BUT- (i'm so stupid  )...i figured out that the pains started the day after i had worked out at the gym and done lower body weights (NOT recommended a week after a hysteroscopy) - DON"T do that kerry :) .
and then i went back to the gym the next day and did it again...'trying to get myself into better shape'- nearly killed me and caused much emotional stress.

i went back to full dose DHEA (as i lessened it for a few days), and i'm FINE. AND i had email chat with an RE in toronto who's used DHEA for 2yrs, so far has had 59 pregnancies with it, and currently has 212 women on it. SOOOO, more data for me to want to give myself 2months on this before cycling..so i'll be late october.

that's all for now- lots of love ! karen

Hey Guys :

Lynnie - how are the cramps? Do you still have them? I have read that sometimes when the embryos are implanting you will get lower abdomen cramps and things like that - So am sure your babies are trying to attach to mommy :) when is your beta? Are you going to do the home preg test?

Kerry - Glad to hear that the doc's appointment went well and you have a plan in action now. Do you have someone doing reflexology on your feet as well? Hope you and DH got lots done for the new business you are abt to start. If its something online - let us know - we will check it out :)

Soready - That's a great number of embryos you have there :) . All the best for the ET tomorrow - let us know how it goes. How many will you have put in? I think for IL 2-3 is the limit right. Good you will have lots to freeze as well. How is the weather there now? Hope the rain is gone now.

Sue - You must be relieved to be off the BCPs :). So you start Stimming this weekend? Did you get all of your meds? I know how you feel - I was feeling the same this time. Hope you are feeling better now that you are off the BCPs.

Karen - Glad your pain is gone now and esp glad it was not because of DHEA. Its good you are finding positive things about DHEA - this is encouraging esp now that it has helped you to make the decision for the upcoming cycle.

As for me - I am trying not to think/notice anything but I still notice everything - I know its confusing. Get hot flashes every now and then. No cramping or spotting (last time I have started my periods by this time :( ). But I do feel tired in the mornings and sleepy by 9pm itself. Having such bad mood swings - seems like I am on BCPs. And do I my boobs HURT like anything ..... its crazy. But am still trying not to think about. Just 5 more day to go. Till now I have decided not to do the home preg test. Last time I used 2 boxes of it :). I think I cannot stand to see just one line on it this time. So am trying with all my will power not to buy them this time.

Have a good day/night guys - talk to you soon
Love

I am so happy for all you ladies, and I am praying for you that all this will come to fruition. God is smiling at you and your embies and they will be your testimony in due time.

I started stemming yesterday with 450mg of Bravelle and 10cm of lupron. I did my blood work and sono yesterday after starting lupron. I know I will be joining you all in a few days, I have no doubt that God has done this already for us.

Take care all,

Priya - That all sound very promising. I am having nothing. Your symptoms sound like mine on the month it works. No more cramps, boobs are not painful. EEP! I am bummed out, but will just wait another few days and POAS on Thursday.
