10 weeks and spotting? Ghost? Anyone?
I am currently 10 weeks pregnant. This morning when I got up and went to the bathroom and had a little spotting (brownish pink). My DH and I had intercourse yesterday. Could this be the reason for the spotting? It scares me to death to think of losing this baby. Anyone else experience this?
There was a nurse who posted here about a month ago that such spotting of "brown blood" is very common in early pregnancy and not particularly alarming.

It is probably nothing to be concerned about. could be due to intercourse. If it does not subside in a day or two call your doctor. It will ease your mind to go have an U/S and see that everything is fine.

I can pretty much guess it was from intercourse. Your cervix is very soft and full of blood. Any manipulation can cause some bleeding. And since it stopped, I would bet that's what caused it.
