I do not have the longest legs in the world - perhaps I could make some shorts out of the spare??!!!
Sure someone will snap them up

I'm with Tracey, I don't think 5ft 6 constitutes long legs - I'm more a stones throw from being a short-@rse! (actually a big @rse at the moment would be more accurate!!)
Sorry, I didn't mean to post twice. It must have been cos I was sat in the kitchen on the hard kitchen chairs - unccomfortable and cold......rather than in my lovely soft reclining leather office chair!!!!
TS - dh didn't come to bed until 11pm (this is late for us on a school night!!!) because he wanted to send you the homepage. It does look fab, don't you think??
He wants to get it done before you come next weekend. Bless. So needless to say I didn't haev a romantic valentines weekend - he was too busy with Sharp Selection!!!!
I don't mind. I'm glad he can help. I'm very proud of him. Stockbroker by day.........web designer at night. I just wish he would be so enthusiastic with all the DIY jobs I want him to do!!!
He has done a fabby job - sorry re the late night. It looks fabby do - I love the green - think he might be relieved - might have crossed his mind once or twice I wouldn't like it but it is different - he is so clever. Still want to get him a pressie - any ideas?
You do not have a big a$$e - honestly and 5'6 is better than 5'4 and a HALF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh well no modelling jobs for me

I think our definition of long legs and some of the taller mothers to be might be a bit different don't you think?

Well we survived a weekend in Stoke. I think you've all summed it up pretty well! I was hoping for a smaller version of Manchester or Sheffield (I've loved living in both) but it certainly isn't anything like. And they had a bit of a problem with my (hybrid, lived all over the country) accent, let alone DH's 'I've lived in the South East all my life' accent - they couldn't understand him and he couldn't understand them!!!
We're thinking about living in one of the small towns not far from Stoke, but I prefer living in cities so it will be a bit of a culture shock. We've got a week to make up their minds so I need your advice girls - should I give up the bright lights (well, actually very dull lights) of Crawley for becoming a full-time Mum in North Staffordshire?
Jules
P.S. I can't join in the dog/cat threads - when does the guinea pig thread start?!
TTC 5 years. Daniel & Charlotte born 22.03.02, 1st ICSI treatment. TTC for 4 further years. 2nd ICSI cycle abandoned, 3rd cycle BFN. Looking forward to being a happy family of 4.
Could you not become a full-time mum in YORKSHIRE! Its very nice, lots of greenery for the countryside feel but close to Leeds and Manchester for Selfridges and Harvey Nicks........we could start our own TwinsClub!!!
Can you spare a thought for the opposite problem, I'm getting sick and tired of people saying I'm not very big! After a while it makes you paranoid and you start thinking the little fella isn't growing enough! I had my 32 week midwife appt yesterday and I told her this and she measured my fundus height and it was 32.5 cms, so half a cm more than it should have been - so I can tell everyone quite smugly now that I'm perfectly normal thank you!
The one bit I was looking forward to was for my boobs to get bigger. However, my miniscule boobs haven't got much bigger since the initial growth spurt from a AA to an A cup back at week 10! (Again, the midwife said that not everyone gets enormous up top) So I think that is another reason I look smaller. I'm normally 7stone7, but I'm now 9st 4 and got a much bigger appetite thank god - I think the stress of IVF over the last couple of years had made my weight and appetite fall generally.
Anyway, thought I should point this out in case there's anyone who's the same position as me. None of our pregnancies are going to be the same - just wish people could button it though, esp after all we've been through!
All the best to everyone
Nicola x (32weeks 3 days)
See Jules - told you about SToke - not sure what to do about your problem - come near me - near Leicester/Nottingham/Peterborough/Stamford - Yorkshire is too far north! Don't want your ears to bleed - haven't you got friends for rellies near Leicester? As for guinea pigs - not sure how big a thread we can get but could start one - they eat them in South America don't they?
Nicola - where on earth have you been? Welcome back - can't believe you are 32 weeks - don't listen to them - you are fine size wise and won't have loads to shift off you backside etc like some of us! I have had bump envy for some time - Nikola keeps telling me off and I want a huge bump now. Can't help you on the boob front I am afraid as they seem to have a life of their own.
Try and stay in touch

I just have to say you are all mad i have just logged on after being away for a few days (spent valentines weekend at my friends dh was away) and your hormones have taken over.
Tracey i have just read that thread from nikolas scan i am sorry if i upset you saying about you all being small i did not mean to offend i am just fat.
My friend (who i have not seen since xmas) was in today and said she could not see a difference in my size but i am now 10 sheets of toilet roll and cannot fit into my jeans and i am still lighter than i was so i don,t understand it. i am getting my appetite back, on saturday i had a macdonalds for lunch and a kfc for my dinner and have not stopped eating since.
i have looked at maternity clothes but most of them have a big hole where the bump should be or they come up to my underarms or they are too long.
Diane next do short legs clothes i am only 5ft is that what you got or just normal length because i was going to try them next.
Nicolam, I have the same problem as you with boobie size as I am 23 weeks PG and still in my A cup!!! I was looking forward to getting bigger and I am still waiting - still, there's time yet!
Jules, glad you survived your weekend up north! If you want to bring the guinea pigs into the equasion you go ahead - Dawn is a vet (well works at one), so all Gods creatures are welcome.
Tracey, I am glad you like your website that Nikolas hubby has done. He sounds like a very clever boy.
BTW I am 5'5'' and find all maternity trousers that I have tried on are far too long for me
Stoke is not Bloody Up North!!!!!!! Honestly Dagny, you are as daft as Tracey. She thinks it is going to take 3 hours to get from Grantham to Leeds!!! Its an hour and a bit up the motorway........I'm going to have to educate you girls as to where the 'North' begins!!!! Leeds is in the middle of the country - so there are lots of places further 'North' than me!!!
You're right Nikola, Stoke is definitely not 'up North'! It reminds me on the sign we saw on the M40 implying that we were entering the North West ... South of Birmingham. I think the road planners who never leave London don't really have much idea of geography outside of the South East.
Now guinea pigs, well. They don't do a lot but they don't take a lot of looking after and you certainly don't need to employ a guinea pig walker when your bump is so enormous that you can't leave the house. I think you should get a whole brood of them!

you will laugh at this, i went to marks and spencers yesterday to get measured for a nursing bra, and the lady said to me oh my god i have never seen a pregnant woman with such small boobs have you got any milk in them
i found it funny after so many people telling me how fat i am
i measured 40 a which i thought is quite big, im usally 34a
