Should I Become A Sperm Donor?

Post by dazzlear »

I've been thinking of this ever since seeing a documentary about the lack of donors in the uk. It seems that if people give blood as easily as they do, is there any difference in becoming a sperm donor, both can change the lifes of others who need it, just like blood. Is there anyone out there who would recommend doing it or anyone who would say not to. Im only 23, in scotland, and maybe its not the right thing to do. But is there really a need for sperm out there, i dont know, i guess there is but why dont more men do it. Anyway, if anyone can help me out in this decision plz comment.

I definatly think you should. It would be wonderful to help people out like that. My husband and I spoke about using donor sperm down the road if we abolutly had to and even though I'm a billion years from being ok with that I love the fact that we have the OPTION. And that's what you would be doing, giving some couple an option, or even a life line to starting a family of their own. I say go for it!![/code]
