Hi all,
I just found out yesterday we are preganat (yeah!) and figured I would stop worrying, only to find Im worrying about new things...argh!
Ive been having cramps since pretty much the day after my ET, mostly on my left side and less frequently on my right (about where my ovaries would be).
Im worried about having an ectopic pregnancy and wont see my OB for 2 weeks. Anyone else have this kind of cramping early on? Should I worry?
I had a lot of cramping early on and worried just like you - but all was good! I also had no morning sickness and that also worried me! As you can see, everything turned out great as I ended up with a beautiful little boy! Try to relax and enjoy the ride. It goes by quick and I always felt like I needed to worry about something....but I didn't. I delivered a day before my due date after being induced and had a wonderful labor and delivery. My son is healthy and absolutely perfect. So, try not to stress and think POSITIVE! Chances are your cramping is normal. Good luck!!!!!

Thanks for the feedback ladies! Its reassuring to know others have had the same experiences. When you had your cramps though, were they in the middle or to either side? I go for my second beta tomorrow and hope to see my hcg levels rising!
When I had my ectopic, hindsight showed that I had lower back pains from the beginning that I ignored. At the end, I had SEVERE pain in my front that sent me to the ER that night (I couldn't walk and the sheer pain doubled me over).
When I had my ET, I had mild cramps in my ovary area since the day after. I attributed it to implantation. It went away after about 5 days or so.
I'm pretty sure it would be too early for them to pick up an ectopic on sono. I'd still call your dr. and express your concerns.
Have a wonderful pregnancy!
