Hey Guys:

SoReady - Congrats on the ET and welcome to 2WW :) The 2 embies sound very promising. That's a very nice thing you said to God :) . Am sure there will be lots to freeze like Sue said for more siblings later :).

Karen - I hope the chiropracter and massage helped with the back and neck pains - hope you are doing better now. We will be rooting for you and checking on you in the Oct Thread. Of-course we will miss you here. But like Sue said - ur body does tell you what it wants so you have made the right choice. Am glad you spirits are lifted and you are staying positive. Oct is almost here.

Sue - Just 2 more days and you will be off them and will have a nice break :). I know what you mean - IF is all abt waiting - first wait for BCP to start, then wait for it to stop, wait for stimms to start, wait for ER and ET and then the 2WW and on the day of beta - wait for the phone call :) -we are all WAITING experts now ;). Just keep the mind at ease and everything will be fine - am really excited for you.

towachi - don't be dishearten - am sure the count will rise during the 2nd blood test. You body will adjust to the meds and the level will be normal.

As for me - I am counting days now and only 3 more days left :). Am determined not to pee on the stick and have stuck by it till now Last time I was doing it twice everyday :). The only thing I cannot ignore to notice are very twitch/pinch etc that I get. And every alternate day I am sooooooo tired that it takes all of my strength to do the normal chores around the house and complete my work. Today my legs are aching and feels like my periods are coming. Hopefully these are all good signs.

Hope to hear from everyone soon:
Love
Priya

Hi everyone,

Sorry I havn't checked in for a few days, I was working monday and tuesday and I'm pretty tired. Also had lots of chores to do yesterday.

Priya I hope your doing well, I'm sure all your symptoms are good signs, I've heard ppl who are really tired end up pg, I know my sister was exhausted in those first few weeks. At nearly 32 weeks she just complains about swollen feet :) I know it must be hard to focus on your work when your mind is elsewhere, your boss sounded supportive though so hopefully you'll be ok. It sounds as though your being very strong this time not POAS, your stronger than me, and with 2 days to go your nearly there, I'm sure its going to be good news this time :) :)

Karen: I'm sorry to hear you've been having problems with pain. Working out at the gym definitely not a good idea after a hysteroscopy but I suppose if nobody told you to take it easy your not to know. I hope it sorts itself out for you. It sounds like you have made the right decision to wait until October, I may be joining you as I'm going to have my FET the month after my hysteroscopy. Maybe we will both have some good luck in October. I too feel that we will miss this thread, its funny how close you become to ppl and then sometimes they are just gone. :( I will certainly be keeping myself updated with everyones progress.

Soready: Congratulations on your ET and its great that you have lots left, Have you found out how many they are going to freeze yet. I hope your embies stick around and your 2ww goes quickly.

Sue: its finally here, just a couple more days and you start your stims, I bet it flys by it is a busy time with u/s and checking in with your doctors. Try and take it easy and eat pineapple I believe its good during the stimulating period and the ET time too.

Lynnie I hope your feeling well and managing to fight the urge to POAS, good luck.

I'm not sure if I'm going to ovulate this month which makes me feel sad, I thought the royal jelly was working, I'm now in day 18 of my cycle and no LH surge yet, I tested last month and got it on day 16. I will try again today but I may need to start the metformin again.

Welcome Towachi, these girls are all great.
Take care everyone, thinking of you all.

So AF is here so my RE is having me do the beta tomorrow so I don't suffer through the meds for no reason. I am a bit relieved to find out that I might be able to get insurance for another round. DH has a plan choice (he did not select) that offerers 10K toward IVF. His current plan offers nothing. Since I will leaving my job, we can re-enroll in the other plan as I will need coverage through him. I hope they will cover me for a round. Its united health care, the one plan that CCRM participates with. I have my phone interview with them on Monday, I hope they let me in their program.

Lynn, I am sorry to hear that AF came, but are you sure it is AF or just spotting? Please wait until you get the beta results tomorrow. I am still praying for you and the rest of the sisters here, we shall make it in Jesus name, amen.

Kez: Thanks for your warm welcome, keep praying for me, I am stimming, my day 2 E2 results was low 23.9 and I will test again on Saturday, I am believing God for a miracle.

Priya: How are do you today, keep your faith in God, he knows our inner most heart desires and he will surely bring this to past for you and yoru DH.

Lynnie - I am so sorry darling abt the AF. How are you holding up today? Still all the best with the beta tomorrow. lets hope for a miracle .... we never know. That's good you can change the insurance plan to your hubby's. Let us know how the phone appointment goes. Thanks for telling us CCRM takes united. I have cigna so if I need to go to them - will need to rethink thing

Towachi - all the best for the b/w on saturday. Am sure your numbers will increase. I love you have so much faith in faith - its very refreshing for me. I think I am holding on to a very very thin thread of faith here and if this time IF does not work then it will all be shattered very badly.

Kerry : Hope you get to rest a little on weekend. Today is Thursday so you might have had your nieces over for dinner - hope you had a good time with them. Also thanks for the nice words. I read all the posts and my spirits just lift instantly :). Do you check ovulation via the pee sticks as well? Hopefully day 19th is the day for ovulation this time.

As for me - I have not done HPT till now and will not do it for sure before my beta - just one more day to go. Today since morning I am feeling as if my periods are coming and am scared S&*T to go to the loo ..... its driving me crazy. Thankfully no crying today :) - have been such an emotional mess this week. Just keep on telling myself - one more day to go ... I can survive one more day :)

Hope everyone has a good day/evening/night
Love
Priya

I had a silly question. Have been trying to do some research but could not find a good answer. What should be the beta value if one embryo has implanted?
on the Internet the values are between 3-50 ... Does anyone know?

hi ladies...lynnie- i'm so sorry to hear about AF. SO sorry.. i remember that disappointed, devastating feeling. i pray you remain hopeful despite this- stranger things have happened in this world. my friend finally got PG on her 4th IVF, which was after 8 IUI's. their baby boy is 18 months. . her story has been such an inspiration to me and helped me hang in through horrible heartwreching times.

priya- as for beta's , check the 'american pregnancy assoc.' website- i found it good, reliable info. i was 430 on my first beta before. and i think the range is 5- 450 for singleton range. good for you for not poas- it is too unreliable after an hcg shot.

kerry- glad we'll be there to support eachh other in oct !! i need you :D

i'm doing well. still no prob's with the DHEA. my unrelated back and neck pain is resolving. and my spirits are good- although i recognize this is alot because i'm NOT cycling right now. i've noticed that i'm most hopeful about being PG when my ivf cycle is not iminent. the closer i get, the more fearful i become.

buckets of babydust to all. ps. even though i'm not cycling til oct- i'm sticking around on this thread :D
38 yrs. DOR, TTC since '04, recommended DE but didn't listen
3 IVF's & 1 FET: 1 cancellation, 1 m/c @ 12 wks, 1 chemical, 1 miracle boy & miracle 'natural' PG right now while waiting to cycle (WTF?)

Karen

Thanks for the kind words! I hope we will both get to be mommies soon!

Priya

Feeling like AF is coming was a serious sign when I got my first IVF. I thought I was going to gush. I did not have this feeling with my BFNs!

I eagerly await your great beta tomorrow!

I think this cycle is a bust. I bled a little in the morning. And since last night am getting pains in the stomach when I get my AF. Am just shattered. I did not build up any expectation from this cycle so I will not be disappointed in the end. But am devastated right now. Have called up the nurse to tell her abt this. Its just like last time ...... I think I cannot be strong anymore - its too hard for me this time.
Thanks to all of you for your support. It meant a lot to me.
Might be MIA for a few days ....

Love

Priya and Lynnie, I know it is tough to be positive right now, but there can still be hope.

First off, it could be implantation bleeding and they say that period like symtoms can be the same as pregnancy symtoms. Plus, my RE advised that even if I experience bleeding I am to let them know and continue all meds because, they have had situations where women experienced period-like bleeding (more than just spotting) before their 1st beta and still were pregnant and successful pregnancies.

My thoughts are with you both.

Priya~I am so sorry about your negative. That is just awful news. My heart goes out to you--big hug.

Lynnie~ I am hoping that you get a positive on your beta today. Please keep hope alive as you might have late implanters. Let us know when you get the official result. Im thinking of you.

Karen~Im glad that you are feeling physically better now and also mentally in a good space. I know what you mean about the hope between cycles turning more to fear as the cycle approaches! Thats what was happening to me too. It sounds like you are going to have a nice beak before the next cycle so you can focus on building up more positive energy and taking your DHEA to build up your body. It will be here in no time and you will be completely prepared!

SoReady~how are you feeling? Keep visualizing your embies emplanting and growing into beautiful babies! Take it easy.

I FiNALLY took my last BCP!! Hooray. I willl start injections on Monday. I am feeling excited again after my bout with fear and anxiety earlier this week. I think my body was also reacting to my stopping the herbs. I have been taking them for 2 and half months so I think it was a shock to my system when I stopped on Monday. I am feeling hopeful again.

Hi all

Priya: I am so so sorry it hasn't turned out well for you this cycle, my thoughts are with you and your DH. You are a strong person and I know you can get through this, take some time to recover and gain your strength and know that we are all here thinking of you and sending you big hugs :)

Lynnie: I am sorry you got a negative, I wish you and your DH a speedy recovery, I know how devastating it can be. Take care and good luck for the future :)

Karen: I'm glad your spirits are up, I too need you and am glad your still around. I know what you mean about being fearful when your cycle is approaching, it is anticipation and fear of it not working and the disappointment you may or may not feel. Lets hope we have some good news next month. :)

Soready: I hope the 2ww is not too awful and your managing to occupy your mind and not go too insane. When is your beta.

Sueqiwi: way to go on lasting so long on your BCPs I'm glad they are finished, its all systems go for you now. Good luck on starting your stimms on monday and keep us informed on your progress.

Well I pretty much thought I was not going to ovulate this month as I'm on day 20 of my cycle, but sorry TMI I had that goo this morning so I'm going to do one last ovulation test this afternoon and see if I am ovulating, also I started taking the metformin last night too. I so want to do a natural cycle so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Take care everyone and have a good weekend.
