Renee - I think some labs automatically do ICSI now. If it wasn't that then you are probably correct that since you only had 3 eggs that they did ICSI to give them the best chance to fertilized. My DH sperm is also good and they did half of my eggs ICSI because we have unexplained infertilty. We ended up with 3 eggs out of 6 and 2 of those were ICSI. Good luck with ET on Saturday.

3 Heartbeats thumping away!!!

Okay..I went a day early because of my bleeding and shortness of breath. I didnt mscarry thank god!!....but I Had a huge surpsie today. Baby A hearbeat was 138, Baby B's HB was 128, and Baby C HB is 118. They are all 10 beats apart! Baby C has a small sac, but all babies seem very healthy and measuring on target. RE has one concern about baby C's sac so we will see, he said the baby is measuring perfect but the sac is on the small side. MY RE said that having triplets could increase bleeding symptoms so hes not really worried at this point now that he knows we have multiples but wants me to remain on pelvic rest until our next US in two weeks.....all I can say is this is a HUGE rollercoaster ride, I really thought I might be miscarrying. So while I am happy I didnt I am completely overwhelmed with the news. My husband is elated, and I am in pure shock. I have a 12-15% risk of m/c since its multiples and my history........I go back in two more weeks and Dr said we will go from there..........good lord this is craziness but I am excited at the moment nd I m going to try really hard to enjoy the next 2 weeks...but bare with me

My OHSS is better so most of what I am feeling is PG symptoms the RE said. Most of the fluid has really gotten better so we are all relived about that...but still have to watch it. The heartburn and nausea is PG symptoms now...and they told me to eat small meals, nothing 3 hours before bed, nothing spicey etc.....Re said my weight gain doesnt concern him and thinks 1/2 of it is fluid that will reslove itself. The shortness a breath is probably OHSS releated but could also be from heartburn.

Toobee congrats on the happy news! I can't imagine how scary the bleeding must have been. Sleep well and enjoy the good news!

I have my US tomorrow at noon....so keeping my fingers crossed that all is well.

That is such exciting news!! You and the babies are doing terrific. Congratulations!!! I was going to say before that the gain weight most likely comes from water retention. This surely must put your mind at ease knowing that their little hearts are thumping away. I hope the bleeding stops real soon. Keep relaxing and they will grow big and strong.

Yeay 3 eggs and 2 fertilized?? Thats fantastic news! thats a high fertilization rate so I hope you feel ghood about that. I have to say I am a bit surprised they automatically do ISCI, havent heard of that one before, but I m not always up on the latest info either. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you that both your beans grow beautifully!!

I am still stimming away--feeling very positive today. (It's crazy how there are good days and bad days for sure!) I do feel foggy and whacky and sleepy from the meds and still getting headaches. But I can actually feel my ovaries working! Pretty amazing--I felt it last time too. I go for my first US on Sat morning.

YEY TOOBEE -- CONGRATS on your 3 heartbeats. I am so excited for you, you just made my day with your news.
I haven't gotten my book yet, they are supposed to be shipping it today so I will get it sometime next week.

Good luck to all the other U/S today.

I was remembering that Randy Pausch (sp)"The Last Lecture" where he asked if you wanted to be a tigger or an eyoore. Well I have definatly decided to be a tigger so i am sending you all some tigger action.

Well, I have just been taking it easy. Taking lots of naps and eating all the time. Yesterday I waited a little to long between meals and my nausea got real bad

Hi Ladies

Well it is official.....TWINS. YAY. I am so happy and excited. They are fraternal twins, so I guess I don't have to worry about being able to tell them apart at first

. We could see the hearts beating. My RE doesn't measure the heartbeat at this stage. I go back in 2 weeks for a second u/s and he will measure the heartbeats then. I am 626d. One measure 6w5d and the other 6w6d. He said there is a margin of error and he isn't concerned at all that the one measured a day behind.

Renee- Congrats on 2 fertilizing. That is great. I will keep my fingers crossed for you. When is your ET?

Sfleming- Good luck on your u/s. Can't wait to hear the results.

Chris- How have you been? When do you start your next cycle?

Val - How are you feeling today?

It's a rainy Friday here. It's nice to be inside and maybe take a nap.
