Beta test after ET - Ghost?

Post by soready73 »

I had my ET on 9/16 and my beta on 9/26 - BFN. If I count exactly 28 days from the last time I got my period (mine was always on time), I should have gotten my period on 9/26. I heard that the progesterone and meds could delay my period, but it is now 9/28, no period, no symptoms. Could it be that they took my beta too soon at 10 days? Or, since it's a bloodtest, it is full proof. I don't know...I guess is wishful thinking that it was just too soon.

In general they should see it by day 10, although most clinics test later than that. Was it a day 3 or blast transfer?

We do blast transfers. Day 10 is pretty definitive. They usually show by day 5, by the way, in fresh embryo cycles. FET seem to sometimes take a bit longer.

Thanks Ghost. I guess I was just hoping....
I meet with my RE on Friday and we will discuss doing an FET with the 2 embryos I have left. I just hope they survive the thaw.
