Hello,
My first IVF cycle came back negative and I have 2 frozen, I don't recall their rating, but they were frozen at day 5 or 6.
Has anyone had this few and they made it through the thaw? I read stories of ladies who had 8 and only 3 made the thaw. So I'm just wondering what my chances are.
ME - 35 / DH - 37
Natrally Conceived twice:
1 ectopic (2006)
1 MC (2007) partial molar pregnancy
Found out early 2008 - right tube blocked

Not to worry.
With frozen blasts, we rarely thaw more than two anyway, no matter how many the patient has frozen. Two is just about right for thawed blasts.
Don't know what clinic you are at. At my clinic, you'd have around a 70% chance of BFP and 50% chance of live birth.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

Hi Soready, sorry for your BFN. my fresh was also negative, but i did have 10 frozen embryo's all frozen on day 2, (quite common in the UK). my first FET we thawed 3, 2 survived bio-chemical pregnancy. "nd FET we thawed 3 all survived, transferred 2 (only allowed 2 in the UK) chemical again. added aspirin due to further tests, getting deserate now as only have 4 left, so decided to thaw 2 with the option to thaw the last 2 if needed. Both of the first 2 thhawed with no loss of cells, and miraculously both took and i now have 12 week old twin boys.
Also from what i have read on here frozen blasts are much better as ghost has said.
If it's meant to be it will work,
good luck

Hello All,
Thank you all for your responses! I know that every situation is different, but it is nice to hear that there are positive outcomes.
Ghost: I'm at the FCI.
Some news that I received that made me feel better is that the ratings of the 2 frozen (at day 6 I believe) are actually better than the 2 they transferred at day 5. I told my DH that these are our fighters (only 2 of 9 made it to freeze) and to top it off, they continued to improve since they stated the 2 they transferred were the best as of that day.
I started BCP today for 21 days, then I will start Lupron, and I beleive estrogen patches (I'll know for sure when I go in after my 21 days of the pill. I should have my FET in early-mid November.

Soready -congrats on getting started again. I know it is hard to do after a failed cycle. Sound like you have 2 really good blasts. Wishing you the best of luck.

thats great news that your getting started again. I have only 2 frozen embies too and am waiting for my AF to arrive so I can plan for this month. My embies were frozen on day 1, this was a different clinic and they freeze at the pronuclei stage, so I am very nervous I dont know how mine will do with the thaw. I also want an unmedicated cycle but the problem with that is I dont always ovulate.
I hope you have better luck this time and I will be keeping everything crossed for you.
hey beachbaby, Nice to hear someone from the UK too with fantastic results, congrats on your twins. Just one question, why did they start you on aspirin, I have felt like starting it myself as my af are very clotty and I was going to ask my consultant, it sounds like it did the trick for you. Do you have anti phospholipid syndrome.
thanks all and take care
