Hi all!

Oooooo Saraid - how exciting! So I calculate test date would be 22 September? Is that right?! Feet up sounds good to me - milk it all you can!!!!!

Sue - your post filled me with dread. We have decided to move Charlie to a bed after his birthday in October. (the only reason we're waiting till then is that my Mum and sister are going to club together to get the Grobag duvet set - same principle as the sleeping bags but a duvet set. It zips up so making it harder for them to fall - and climb I presume - out of bed). He has stopped climbing out of the cot so we thought we would wait. However I have a feeling when he gets in a bed he'll just climb out a gazillion times and am bracing myself for a battle. Sounds like you're doing well by sticking with things though and being consistant - I think that's the key. However I have read that if it really does become a problem you can revert back and try again at a later stage. I suppose it just depends if you think it would be any different later on - if not then I would stick with it as you've put in so much hard work so far. how about if you post on the 2006/2007 mummy's thread. They would have all been through this and can probably give you some practical advise.

Kristii - glad you had a good time in Salt Lake City (I read your blog!). The boys looked so cute with the headphones on!!!!!

How's everyone else doing? Tracii - are you still on your travels????!

Thomas was fantastic! Spend the entire day travelling up and down the railway on various steam engines and Charlie had a blast! In fact it wore him out so much he slept in till 7.15 the following morning (a minor miracle in our household!!!). Also had a trip to the zoo and swimming at the weekend so have been super busy! Good fun though!

Right - talk soon!

Cla - my DH would love to have joined you on your train journeys! he is a trainspotter...atleast it keeps him out of trouble and we compromise that I pick the hotels whenever we do any train event (make sure there is a nice 5 star in the area :D )

Saraid - keeping everything crossed for you!

Hi to everyone. Yes we are back from Italy and US...Isabella is back at nursery school - loving it..she now doesn't even say bye but runs into the room.

We changed Isabella into a big girl bed when she was 18 months. We never had an issue with her. She is really proud of her big girl bed. We changed so early because she was climbing out of her crib and I was terrified she would tip it over as well. We have the side things so she can't fall out and definitely no longer use the sleeping bag but pillows and blankets.

We have had a couple of tantrums but am reading 'Happiest Toddler on the Block' and the technique seems to be working. :D Isabella is talking more and more - mostly in German! She understands everything we say either in English or German. But now oddly enough my mother needs to start learning german!

What are your plans for 2nd birthdays???

Hi all,

good look for your test day Saraid, keeping everything crossed for you.

cla- glad you have had a fab fun weekend and charlie had a blast.

Traci- glad isabella, is enjoying nursery. I havent got a clue as to what we are doing for Jess's birthday. we bought her a 10ft trampoline with enclosure though, that way she can bounce all her toddler tantrums out!!!!! We put it up the other week, while it was dry and she absolutely loves it, was like a raving lunatic on the rampage.

YIPPEE - Jess has managed 6 nights in her bed, just insists that she has a book with her. Dont know why, as she cant see much as the night light is so dim !!! - toddlers hey, who understands them?

She is saying loads how and still enjoying nursery, which is good. We went to see the big spider in Liverpool at the weekend, it was amazing. At first you couldnt see it, just heard a bit of noise and kids screaming  as it walked past. Jess slept through the whole thing - somehow she always manages to do that, when we make a special trip out!!!

Off back to bed, as i will have to get up again in a couple of hours.

speak soon

love

Hi all

So glad Jess has settled into her bed. No more hugging the stairgate!

Arabella is a real chatterbox too. Everythibg gets repeated back to you. Really have to watch our language and what we say when gossiping!

So far so good with the FET. I woke up with thrush this morning (sometimes get a few days before period) so of course panicked and did a POAS. Stupid girl, i am only 8 days past transfer and earliest will show is Thursday. Well that is what i am telling myself. I am getting a strange pulling sensation now and then quite high up in my tummy. Just undert he bellybutton. Any ideas anyone?

I am off for a lie down as feeling knackered today.

LOL

Just rushing out to a meeting so can't stop. But Saraid - can't help with the pulling sensation but wanted to say I had 2 negative hpts AFTER my test date (the test at the clinic was inconclusive and they made me wait another week before they would do another so I did my own! BOTH were negative at 17 + 19 days post transfer. But charlie is living proof that the hpts were wrong!!)

Have a good day girls!

Hey everyone. My boys turned 2 today. I'm sitting here tonight and thinking about their birthday, which reminded me of all of you and our journeys to get our little ones. Saraid, I'm so sorry about your BFN! That phrase brings back memories. It's not an easy journey, is it? I can't believe how much time has gone by now. 2 years. Which means nearly 2 years & 9 months since my BFP. I hope you are taking the bad news ok, Saraid. It sounds like you are planning on another go at it, so thats good.

I can't believe so many of you have your kids in toddler beds. I guess I'm behind. I can just imagine the 3 hour ordeal trying to get them to stay in their beds. Mine are not crawling out of their cribs, so I figured I'd just let them stay in them for awhile longer.

All is well here. Brady & Tyler seem "easy" to me lately. They are just such good boys. I'm having fun with my photography business. Enjoying life. Etc, etc.

Did I just go almost a full month without posting right after I posted that I wouldn't do that?????? Sorry!!!!

Love to all....

Sorry Kristii -I meant to post this Tuesday but ended up in unexpected meetings all day - but....................

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRADY & TYLER!!!!!

OMG 2 years old already! I cannot believe how the time has flown. We're having a joint party with some friends who also have 2 year olds (we were all in a postnatal group together) at a local soft play centre on sunday 12th and I think we're taking Charlie to Legoland on his actual birthday. The it's off to London the following weekend where my sister is going to do a tea party for the family. So, an extended birthday for him!

I haven't watched the videos but I see there's one on your blog so will take a look. By the way - have started my own blog if anyone wants to take a look (BUT I only have a few posts - Kristii you put me to shame!) Anyhow it's www.clajsblog.blogspot.com (I think!)

Look forward to hearing about everyone's birthday plans!

Take care

Cla
