Hey ladies :)

Big welcome to all the new ladies here, i look forward to cycling and sharing BFP's with you all!!!

Much Hope I remember you from the last board I'm happy to see you are on board for the next round with us as well! Great news about the donor, wow, all those fresh young eggs - you should be heading for BFP by Christmas!

To Have Fun As ever, you are a complete star!!!! The list looks great and a massive thanks for doing it - i know it must be tough trying to keep up with everybody and you did a great job last time, and i will expect you to do it for us on our next board (mommies to be......)

Jenn Glad to see from your signature you have a date for the salpingectomy. hopefully you saw my reply to your post on the general board about what to expect but if you have any questions just ask. I'm not starting my BCP's till November, so we will probably be stimming at the same time - tubeless girls unite!!!

So i havent posted for a few days as i am just playing the waiting game right now..... I think the DHEA is making me gain weight, i seem to be ballooning at the moment and my jeans are cutting off the blood supply to my lower half. Oh well, who needs thin clothes anymore??? Soon i wil be too preggo to fit into them anyway!!!! (I have good PMA today in case you didnt guess  )

Ugh...definitely starting to feel the results of the stimming meds...feeling crampy and bloated today. Blah. Not fun at all. But it will be worth it in the end with a BFP!! Going back to the DR tomorrow for another u/s and more b/w. Am curious to see how my follies are developing.

Oh...and can I say...I was TOTALLY not prepared for the emotions that the meds are causing. I was a complete mess this morning...almost in tears, snapping at DH, etc.

As for baby names...we have a short running list of names we like. Possible girl names include: Annette, Miranda, Charlotte, Hazel and Lillian. Middle name will be Jean since my mom and I both have that as our middle name. Boys name list is a bit smaller...Elliott, Owen, Sawyer are a few. Middle name will be Creed after my grandfather.

I can't reply too much right now. I have a feeling DH is tired of me being on the computer.

JustRelax - Welcome to the board. I love you sign on name. Maybe it will be theraputic everytime we post a reply to you because we will have to type it and hopefully it will make us take a step back and Just relax.

JennLB25 - I love your names. Giovanna Gabriella is really nice and definatly different.

As for me an DH we have names already picked out.
Boy - Christopher Joshua - CJ for a nickname. I love the name Josh but his cousin already has used the name so I can't
Girl - Kaylee Scott - Don't know if anyone watch the show Firefly but DH and I were watching it one day and decided we both like that name. I added Scott in because that is DH's name.

Well gotta go give DH some attention.

hi ladies- jenn.... i love how you brought up baby names! that's such a hopeful subject...we have a few in mind, including amelia, delaney, olivia, sophie, nathan, jackson, jeremy,

thanks chris for doing that up! it must have taken some time..no wonder the dh is missing you  ...i updated mine, as i don't do bcp's- just flare. so really- i'm stimming in around 3 weeks, and could possibly be prego within 5 weeks! babyhope- i don't know that any test is predictive of egg quality- but FSH testing indicates the quantity of egg reserve (and my reserve is LOW, as indicated by a HIGH FSH #)

wishing all a great night! karen

Hi everyone! I recognize a lot of ladies from the Aug/Sept. board. Here we are again! As many of you know, my last cycle was a BFP, but I had to have a D&C to remove the pregancy on Sept 8 - there was no heartbeat. I had my f/u with RE yesterday and I will probably start my 3rd cycle end of Nov/Dec. I have to wait for 2 more AF - I still haven't gotten one since the D&C. Come on AF! My RE said that if possiblem (I have a very low response and only one ovary functioning), he wants to do an aggressive transfer - like put back 4. He said there is no chance of quads/trips for me!

Well, it is nice to take a break in a way, but I'm ready to get started again believe it or not. I'm feeling better about the loss and have just started taking care of myself again (herbs, acupuncture, etc.)

JDC - Welcome to the board. Glad you are feeling better and ready to get back in action. It was really a tough decision for after my BFN as to when to cycle again. I could have done an earlier cycle and would of started stimming in about 2 weeks but that would have been a pain scheduling it with my vacation. After thinking about it I thought it would be better to wait it out and give my body some time to relax for a while. So know I have to wait for 2 AF before stimming. Oh well time goes by quick and we will be in our 2ww before we know it. I will be doing lots of AF dances for you to bring that wicked women on.

ajdec - Good luck at your RE's appointment. Hoping your follies are getting big and strong. I like the name Miranda, Lillian and Charlotte. I have a niece that is named Lillian, Lilly is her nickname. She is the cutes little kid I have ever seen. I guess I might be a little biased since she is my niece but I just adore her little smile.

Karen - You will be back on the roller coaster ride in no time. Time flys by so quick.

NY4thtry - All I got to say is with all the stuff that you have done to help yourself get PG, you better get your BFP this time. I get to start BCP's in a couple of days and not really looking forward to them. I was on the pill for 15 years and had no problems. Then the RE put me on BCP's for my last cycle and I thought I was a crazy, crying all the time women. It was a different BCP then I took before so many that had something to do will it. The whole time I will be on them i will just be counting down the days until I am done with them.

KAS - You can always blame the weight gain on AF coming to visit. I figured since we both go BFN's at the same time we probably will be getting AF in the next week or so. Do you get any other side effects from the DHEA?

babyhope1 - Oct 13 will be here before you know it. Right now go enjoy not being in a cycle and having a baby. Go out and have some fun, drink some alcoholic beverages (that is if you are not against them), get a message, play in a hot tube. Before you can blink an eye you will be on the stimming drugs and growing great follies.

not hopeless yet - You need to send some exercising vibes to me. Walking and biking almost everyday. You must be crazy.
 I know I need to work out and lose about 50 pounds. Probably would help me make a baby but for some reason I just can't do it. Everyone I know is skinny and I don't have anyone to work out with and I can't motivate myself. UUGGGHHHH!!!! I keep telling myself that tomorrow I won't sit my arse on the couch and that I will go upstairs and do my elliptical but ya know it never happens. I pretty much have a $3000 paperweight that they call and elliptical machine. Enough with my rant.

TGIF and I hope everyone has a good weekend.

Hi Ladies, TGIF!!!!!

JennLB25 - I had to get in on the baby name discussion. I have had my baby girls name picked out since I was in middle school (seriously!) for a girl it will be Lillian Mary (my grandmothers name is Lillian Mary, my other grandmothers name is Mary and my name is Mary), for a boy my husband and I like Luke Gabrielle. We are catholic so my husband liked that the boys name was biblical.

Not much going on over here on my end, just counting the days for AF to come so I can get on with this process. Only two more weeks to go, unless he plays a trick on me and comes late!

I hope everyone is doing great and keeping a positive attitude. :D

Kas and Chris (to_have_fun08), how do you girls do it....I mean respond to every post there is. I would like but for one, time doesn't permit (cause I'm at work lol), and second, how in the world to you keep them all straight???!!!??? Boggles my mind.

Anyway, Kas,
tubeless girls unite!!!
, sounds good to me. You know, it's great to know that I'm not alone in this. I think that's one of the toughest things about infertility. Unless you have someone in the family or a friend going through the same thing, you just feel all alone. If you haven't experienced the heart ache and pain of infertility, you just don't understand. It is nice to know I have ladies just like me out there dealing with the same emotions. I mean, I'm glad I have someone to walk through this "valley" with, but at the same time - I'm sad that you all are going through the same stuff. You know, some times I just want to scream "WHY, WHY ME, IT'S NOT FAIR, WHAT HAVE I DONE!!!" Anyway, I need to keep a PMA right???!!? So let's stop that train of thought.....lol. :) I pray you get your BFP before the end of the year!!!! I do have surgery coming this Wednesday and am taking Wednesday, Thursday and Friday off of work. I have to be back to work on Monday. So I just hope that there are no problems and that I recover fairly quick. From what everyone is saying, I think it will be ok.

Karen (karenvancouverisland), I really like all the names you picked!! The girl names are so pretty!!

Chris (to_have_fun08), I really like your names too. I wanted our boy name to be Christopher Michael as my DH's name is Michael Christopher, but my DH refuses. He said he hates his name. :( Giovanna Gabrielle is definitely different. As a matter of fact, my mom and sister say that they've known our kids names as Kaitlyn and Alexander(keep in mind we really have no kids), and that they refuse to call a girl Giovanna. They actually said they hate the name. Oh well, not trying to please them. :) I think they are coming around though. Especially after my little sis had a baby 5 months ago. She's at least understanding now at this point. AND don't you just hate it when someone close to you steals your name?!?!?!

ajdec, I really like your boy names. They are really cute!! And I like the name Miranda, we have a girl in our church who just went off to college and her name is Miranda. She has a sister whose name I like too. It's different: Arysan Paige. So, you're telling me I have to look forward to major emotions while doing meds?!?! Great!!! I already cry at the drop of a hat. I've caught myself crying at TV Commercials  :) !!!! I'm sure my DH won't appreciate the mood swings, though he did get a small taste of the mood swings when I was on Clomid for our IUI. I think the thing that got me the most with the Clomid was the nighttime hot flashes. I am a BEAR without sleep, and man was I a bear  , poor DH.

I'm surprised our poor DH's put up with us! :D

Well, I'm sending

baby dust to all of you here!!! May we all get BFP's very soon!!

After 11 years of waiting, I'm ready to see that BFP!!!

I second that "TGIF"!!!!!!!

I really like your boy name, Luke Gabriel!!

We like the girl name "Giovanna Gabrielle" because it means "God is gracious, God is my strength".

I second that. You are too funny. But then again I could say the same thing about my treadmill sitting in my rec-room taking up space and collecting dust. I bet the motor would burn up if I actually tried to use the thing, which we bought 1-1/2 years ago. :)

Jenn - I shouldn't blame all of my emotions lately on the meds...probably not fair. I'm also dealing with some ear/vertigo issues. And my ENT told me today that I probably have Menier's Disease. So...I get to go to yet another DR appointment next week on Tuesday. So I think that part of my emotions have been a bit of frustration over not feeling well with my ear and lightheadedness and vertigo. I'm very frustrated that it's happening now...while I'm dealing with the IVF stuff! This is also my first time on the meds...so I'm definitely not an expert on the side effects. But I can tell you...they're definitely making me bloated and achy. Blah. Planning on a nice quiet weekend...

So...went to the DR today! My 19 follies are developing well! Estrogen went from 400 on Wednesday to 962 today! So I'm going back on Monday for another u/s and b/w. I have enough Menopur and Bravelle through Sunday. And the DR didn't want me to order more yet because I may not need it! Looks like my retrieval will be next Wednesday or Friday. I'm hoping for Wednesday!!! The sooner the better! I'm working on being pretty quiet this weekend...just relaxing and taking it easy. Feeling pretty big and blah...and don't want to risk twisting an ovary.

Happy weekend all!

JennLB25 - It is easy for me to keep up because I am on the computer for work all day long. Then I have a lap top and usually i am surfing the net or whatever while watching TV. I know I spend way too much time on this board. I think I am addicted. Don't worry if you can't keep up. Like I mentioned to Karen in a previous post, if you have time to do personals, go for it but if not we (or at least I) don't mind.
Also -
You know, some times I just want to scream "WHY, WHY ME, IT'S NOT FAIR, WHAT HAVE I DONE!!!"
- I have yelled this out plenty of times. No one ever seems to answer me.

gina1234 - It is good to hear from you. I hope you and DH can come up with a decision if you are going to cycle soon or not, though you just did a cycle in Sep so it might also be good for mind and body to take some time off. Good luck in whatever you decide to do.
