Renee- I am so sorry things didn't work out. Take some time to relax and get your spirits together. I would say have a beer for me, but I hate beer. I am a wine person. Snuggle up with Rocco. My son helped me after my first cycle failed. Good luck for you next cycle. Keep the PMA.

From Triplets to Twins
Well I wanted to tell you some news ...We have twins now...Dr. couldnt find baby C, but said it could still be there but he doubts it, although DH is still holding on to that glimmer of hope. As far me, quite honestly, I think we have twins and I am feeling doubly blessed. I wanted twins, DH wanted twins, and triplets to me was daunting for so many reasons, but mostly cause thats a very high risk pregnancy especially for me, so Im actaully a little relieved. I hope that doesnt sound terrible to you guys.....With my history I dont need anymore challenges and twins is still a big challenge as is and as a first pregnacy with my health issues think the twins will have a better chance of surviving and thriving............Baby A, We call him Major Tom cause he/she showed off to us today! He/she looks like its wearing a spacesuit :) Baby B was a little shy, but all is well. Baby A is measuring 9 weeks 1 day and and the Heartbeat is 173, Baby B is measuring 9 weeks exactly and the Heartbeat is 169. We couldnt ask for a better report at 9 weeks, I graduted to my OBGYN...no more fertility clinic.

Yeay!!! My Miscarrigae rate has dropped to 5-10%

Toobee~ I am sorry that you lost baby C but also relieved that it will give you a better chance to carry both of them to full term. It was a very high risk pregnancy and in all of this you have to think about yourself as well. Things do happen for a reason and you are right for feeling doubly blessed. I am happy that both babies are doing so well...that is fantastic news. Congrats on graduating to your regular OB!!
I'm also glad that your m/s is under control. Take good care of your two babies.

Big hugs and love for you!

Toobee~ m/s means morning sickness.
I agree, everybody has kind of vanished. I'm doing well, no spotting, eating like a pig, burping and feeling twinges/pulls here and there during the day. No other symptoms to speak of. The hunger is the biggest thing. I had dinner and since then 2 snacks and all that before 10pm. I think the baby is growing as my belly is bigger and yet I've only gained the 2 lbs I had lost. I love seeing my little round belly.
My next US will be next Tuesday. I will be 9w2d then and I think we will see a lot more. Why would I have these symptoms if the baby was not growing.

I'm also now on the May Mommies thread in the 'pregnant after treatment' section. If you want, it would be great fun to have you there and have the other girls from here!! I think that slowly the thread will come to an end. We want to see that last BFP from SueQiwi and then rejoice in all the BFPs this thread has had.

Have a great night...I sense your calmness about all of what you're going through. You're doing terrific!

Hugs,

Hiya Everybody~
Please don't you all vanish yet! I really need you guys. Believe me, I am so happy you all are bound for the Mommy board--but please don't leave me yet.

toobee~Congrats on healthy babies A & B! Those are some strong heartbeats--very good news. I am sorry about baby C. But to be honest--I was a bit scared about you having triplets--the risks are so high to both you and the babies. I can totally understand your sense of relief at the same time as a sense of loss. I am so happy that your pregnancy is healthy and moving along!

The 2ww is getting to me. I obsess and google about a new issue everyday! Today I had a sneezing fit and was worried a knocked around my poor embies--but that doesn't seem realistic after everything I read. I also had some discharge today that kinda looked like a booger (gross--I know--but that's the best way to describe it.) I am hoping it is implantation mucous plug? Did any of you all get that? I've cut back on the pineapple--i am only eating about one third a day now! I am sad as we found out our two embies at the lab did not make it to freeze. It makes me worry about the strength of the embies inside me.

Your PMA is so good...and yes You surely must be pregnant with a helthy baby with those symptoms, what else could be making you eat so much! I introduced myslef on that new thread..I have been hesistant to leave this thread cause I fell in love with all the woman here, but I am hanging on for SueQiwi......Your right I am ALLOT calmer, my husband thinks Im just out of it, but really I am just feeling crappy so when I feel sickly I am usually just flat and dont talk much....Hard to get me excited about much these days just cause even though I have drugs helping me out I still feel the nausea and faituge, but IAM HAPPY AND VERY GRATEFUL to feel these things!

I cant beleive I couldnt figure out what m/s meant ...total brain fart, so embaressed  thanks for telling me

SueQiwi
I was just like you and curious/worried and easily freaked about everything and I suspect you will be that way for quite sometime, there is nothing wrong with you at all, we have ALL been there in some form or another...IVF is such an un-natural process its really hard to think normally throughout the process...Plus I think a symptom of IVF and the DRUGS is obsessive paranoia!!  Yes, I have a creamy discharge and have had it since I started estradoil pills, so if your on any form of estrogen pills, the discharge is probably from that. I still have it and I have been off all meds since 5 weeks or so, and mine is now just from the pregnancy hormones my body is making naturally. As long as your discahrge doesnt have a foul odor or is green, your probably fine. (sorry TMI, but just looking out for you) My RE said my discharge was a very good sign.I know its hard to not worry about every little thing, I think telling you not to worry would be pointless cause that didnt help me when I was obsessing...It will pass and you will find your center again...it does get easier..I promise...I am here for you! And dont worry about knocking your embies :) seriously, most woman in the early stages of pregnancy dont even know they are pregnant such as joggers, runners, aerobic teachers, equestrians..etc..cathc my drift???

Sorry about the frozens not making it, but focus on the ones that did and send them all the good energy and vibes you can!

Postitve thoughts for your grwing embies and lots of baby dust!

TooBee - Sorry to hear that you are down to 2 but like you, SueQiwi and Val said it is probably better off for you and the other 2 babies. You still have 2 great little ones growing in there. Hope your m/s subsides soon. You only have a few more weeks and you will be out of the 1st trimester and from what I have read m/s is usually gone in the 2nd trimester. Gosh I can't believe you gals are already so far along.

Val - I will be checking in on you next Tuesday. I am going on vacation so I won't be able to check on everyone as much but I will definatly try and find some Internet access so I can hear about your little beans heartbeat.

SueQiwi - You don't have that much more to go. Are you going to POAS? We need another BFP to close the board out so all the pressure is on. Good luck.

Hope everyone else is doing well. I am going to Kentucky Lake for a week. Will do a bunch of sitting around looking at the lake, drinking alcoholic beverages and going 4-wheeling. YEAH!!!!

Happy Friday to Everyone!!!

SueQiwi~ Don't you worry! I'm staying here for you as well. I was obsessing over everything too! Researching every little thing that I felt. I must say that I sneeze several times a day, sign of pregnancy. The discharge you have can be a sign as well. Your temp should be up, not because you're sick but because you're pregnant. Mine is about a degree F higher than usual. I have sinus mucus every day and I was wondering at first if I was sick but I researched it and found that pregnant women produce more sinus mucus as well as other mucus.
These are some of the more unusual symptoms, symptoms you wouldn't think can be related to pregnancy.
If you have some symptoms you don't know about, ask us and maybe we felt it too!
When is you beta? I'm sorry that your other 2 embies did not make it to freeze, but that doesn't mean that the 2 you have inside of you are not good. They transferred the 2 best ones.
I'm not going to tell you not to worry either because we all do it! I still obsess although to a lesser degree as I think I've accepted that I can't change any of this outcome.

Toobee~ I'm the same way, I love the girls on here and it's hard to let go. I'm glad you joined us on the other side.

Chris~ So nice that you're taking a little break and go relax by the lake. Thanks for checking on me next week. I think I'll have good news.
Soon you will be joining a pregnant after treatment thread...I know it!! And somehow we will be reunited in pregnancy!

Hope all our other girls are doing well.

Much love,

SueQiwi~ I just saw your other post. The night sweat are also a sign of pregnancy. I had plenty of those and still get them.

You can not knock your embies out...they're snug in there.

You have a few symptoms that would really indicate that you're pregnant!!! I think you are!!

Hugs...

toobee - Please don't feel bad about being relieved. Your pregnancy is much less risky now to you and your little ones. Twins will be wonderful!! That's actually what DH and I wanted too. Just think, if you only want 2 then you'll never have to go through this IVF hell again. I'm on the May mommies thread too, looking forward to seeing you there and tracking the progress of your sweet little twins.

SueQiwi - I too obsessed about every little thing. A few hours after our first FET my DH accidentally spilled scalding hot coffee on my leg I shrieked like a banshee. We got a BFN that cycle and though my brain knows it was probably not related you still can't help but wonder. Still, I think the fright and the sneezing won't affect your little embies at all. I had some greyish booger-like discharge for both of my fresh cycles. I did not have them for my FETs so in my case I think it was related to healing from ER.

Val - You are hanging in there like a champ! I can't believe how hungry are and now little you've gained despite eating so much. You must have super metabolism. The twinges are good - my twinges and m/s stopped not long after not seeing a heartbeat when I had the m/c.

I'll hang out until SueQiwi gets her results and then I too think this thread will die out. We're all pulling for one last BFP!
