been for my 36 week check up and my baby is breech head up ive got to go for a scan a week on monday and to get date for c.section
if i happen to go into labour before this i will have to have emergancy section,
Is there still time for the baby to move round? If h/she doesn't then just think (like me!) there will be no puffing, panting or swearing needed!!! You can join the too posh to push club - its VERY exclusive!!
You must be so excited with the time getting so close before you eventually get to meet your baby!
I hope all goes ok, whatever type of birth you end up having!
Saw your post and also have breech baby, am 33 weeks and so can relate to your worry. There are some exercises that one can do that supposedly encourage the little one to turn. Try looking on the following. site . If you need more help let me know .. Good luck! Susi
Hi Susi, just to say I had an emergency C-section after a less than enjoyable labour. I know it's not what people generally want for the birth but in the end, it doesn't really matter at all.
My (IVF) product is currently 9m and is sitting in her high chair demanding more tiny bits of celery and bread sticks to slobber over......she's worth every stitch!
Susi, I forgot to say I had been to a birth preparation class and had info on 'unexpected developments during the birth, what happens next?'. I got my DF to read me the c-section notes again as we were wheeled along to the Op. theater. Just knowing there would be upto 8/9 people in the room, that it would be very, very quick (15mins from decision to delivery) and that the baby wouldn't be given to me straight away helped me stay a little calmer. I was still extremely nervous but at least I knew what to expect. It really, really helped me.
Good luck and there are many stories of babies suddenly changing position in the last month. Fingers crossed yours does too
Totally understand where you are coming from. - I suppose that after all we have gone through we are flexible or should be.
a friend of mine (non IVF - I do have them!) was told breech and at 39 weeks no chance of moving as too big - he did move last minute - god knows how and she had some help from the midwife.
Good luck
Love
