Egg retrieval....Question for ghost!

Hi,

I had egg retrieval today and they were able to retrieve 12 eggs. Could you tell how many eggs usually fertilize? I know everyone is diffrent but if you could just tell me what the percentage of them would typically fertilize that would be a big help. I f anyone rembers how many they retrieved and how may fertilized that would be a help as well. Just need some peace of mind so I can sleep tonight.

.....I dont know what the percentage rate of fertilization is, but I had only one egg to retreive and it did fertilize. So try to relax ( I know, easier said than done) and pray....

most will fertilize, maybe 8 or 9, especially if you use ICSI. You should have plenty to choose from. 12 is great. Be thrilled. Relax, eat chocolate.

I had 12 retrieved, 10 fertilized, 5 made it to near-perfect 5-day blasts. I transferred 2 and froze 3, and now am 6w4d pg with one little bean!
