Damn! I'm gone one day and the board goes crazy -- lots of good news and funny stories and kind words

VAL - I continue to be in awe of your strength. Glad you're here.

Too Bee - here I am! I also agree that we should continue. I enjoy this thread more than the ones for pregnant people. I feel like we all REALLY know what we've all been through.

Constipation - ALL BRAN. Ground flax seed in and on whatever you can, in smoothies, yogurt, applesauce, metamucil caps daily. dried prunes, prune juice, apples and my doc also recommended milk of magnesia as it also has calcium....and if you're really clogged try a glycerin suppository. I've had some BIG and painful experiences and try to make regularity a priority.

SUE - I have a good feeling, but hey, we're here for you no matter what.

JJJJake - nice to see you again. Hope you'll continue to share the journey

Turtles. - Ick dry heaves is the worst. I have been spared thus far but I too ingest food all day to reduce the nausea. Lately at night though I am on the verge of barfing. Usually right after dinner. Maybe I am eating too much.

I think that's everyone for now.

have a great day. I'm going to nap.

Oh, and tTOO BEE - welcome to emotional.... I have gotten so sappy and I cry at almost anything on TV. My husband is so amused as I am usually a little on the tough side. LOL>

hi everyone. it's been forever since i've posted on this thread, but i read it once in a while to see what's up.

val- i'm so incredibly sorry for your loss...it reminds me of my own loss back in june. words can't express how sad and compassionate i feel for what must be going on in your heart. please don't lose hope. that's funny coming from me; as i've struggled so to remain hopeful lately.but, my hope is resurfacing. and if i can feel it for you - why not for myself also?

i just wanted to reach out to you val and to say to the other amazing women on this board- i admire your courage and determination :D

Good evening Girls!!
So good to see this thread so alive...so glad you are here.

Chris~ Thank you for the very kind words, you're so sweet! And you can bet I'll be jumping up and down and shed tears of happiness when you get your BFP on your next cycle. I feel it for you!!
You're right that a BFN is easier to hear than this, that's for sure.

Toobee and Turtles~ I am so sorry you are dealing with m/s so much. I can not imagine how tough that is. I hope you're almost out of the 'feel sick' period.
Toobee...Your story is so funny about leaving a little package on somebody else lawn. It sounds funny but I'm sure that at that time it was not too funny at all.
Stefanie has some good suggestions about constipation remedies, I hope that they help. Drink plenty of water as well.

Stefanie~ Sounds like you're doing rather well at the moment. I hope your upcoming tests turn out just fine. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Well, I've decided not to give up yet. I'm going to fight until it is over for sure. I've been reading the misdiagnosed miscarriage website and there are plenty of stories kind of like mine with a positive outcome.
I'm not cramping, no hint of spotting, my temp is still up, my belly is pooched and feeling still hungry.
I will let nature take its course and before they do anything to me, I'm going to have another US. Call me crazy but it is NOT in my nature to give up. I started eating chocolate and drink tea and will give that up once more and eat like I am still pregnant. I hope I can be one of those unusual stories.

SueQiwi~ I hope you had good news today....one way or the other, we are here to support you! Hugs.

So glad you're all here!

Much love and hugs to all.

Ya know, I think your right to let nature take its course, and I have been in your spot before with my first pregnancy that sadly ended in m/c (It was twins). I was just like you and had to make sure. There are too many stories out there where woman were told to get a D&C or they where miscarrying , when in fact they werent, AND were still pregnant and went to term. So I will send some posisive ju ju your way again starting tonight.
I so hope your right and ya just never know........so back to posisitve thinking.

Stefanie
Was so glad to hear from you today and you sound in good spirits so thats great. I m thinking of you and hoping your tests come back with a clean bill and the rest of your pregnacy is uneventful. Thanks about all the advice regarding gettig my pipes a moving. Ya know , I am sure this is hard to belive, but I have been doing all that except the metamucil and All Bran. I eat Go Lean Crunch by Kashi in the morning cause its high fiber, high protein. I used to make myslef a smoohie evry morning that kept me very regular, but since 6.5 weeks I have a serious adversion to my beloved smoothie that I miss so much. I have a very lack luster appetite as well and get full very quickly. So Ihave to force myslef to eat most of the times excpet breakfest for which I am always hungry for. I crave friut and eat allot of it, and i also crave vegetables. If I dont eat small mealls my stomach blows up and I look very bloated. I also need to have somethig in my belly all times it seems. I am just hoping this is temporary and subsides soon. My biggest concern is how toxic constipation is and that my babies are hopefully getting good nutrition.

Hope to hear more from you on this thread again. I miss your posts and all your smiley faces.

SueQiwi
Your quiet...I hope all is well and you had a great day. Thinking about you and wondering how your doing?

As for me.,,,Well I decided to rent a fetal doppler moniter! Why?????? Cause you guys know Im am always paranoid and I dont get another u/s for 3 weeks. So I am hoping this may reassure me from time to time and keep my obsessing to a more normal level. At the moment it seems I may have gotten passed the worst of the triplet passing. It looks like my body is absorbing whats left as it has been getting smaller everyday. I still bleed, but its light. The twins still look good, have good and steady growth and healthy heartbeats. BTW The moniter is 27$ a month......Ill see if its worth it

SueQiwi~ My heart is breaking for you too. I am so sorry...I was feeling really good about your symptoms. I'm not sure what to say as we all deal with this so differently. A good cry sure helps and your hubby's hugs will comfort you.
We look so forward to having positive results ...especially when we know this is the only way for us to get pregnant. Please don't give up as you still have options and I hope you can look forward to those. I know that it keeps me going and helps me focus. Thinking about a possible next step keeps me strong and determined.
I hope we keep hearing from you when you feel ready and you know we will be your biggest cheerleaders. As you see the thread keeps going and I hope you choose to do so as well.

All my love for you and the biggest HUGS!!!

SueQiwi - I'm so sorry hon, I was so hopeful for you. Best of luck to you and DH figuring out what the right path is going forward.

Val - Are you still on progesterone? That may be keeping anything that would happen naturally from happening. I too hope that your next US shows something different. It's a tough balance to decide when to let go, but at least when you do you'll feel confident it was the right thing for you. DH and I second guessed our last miscarriage for at least a month afterwards. It was only during this current 8 week US that I felt confident that the first pregnancy really wasn't viable.

ER AGAIN!
Well I have an update. Saturday I started with some mild cramping which I ignored because I am trying not to think to much of all my woes and not over react. Late that night I started with some bleeding again. Then a few hours later I started passing clots, which then stopped. Sunday was a whole differant story and again heavier bleeding and clotting started increasing frequency........by 5 AM this morning I had really bad cramping and several more blood clots passed. I called the Dr and they told me to go to ER. Of course I get to the ER and the blood slows down and is now a trickle and no clots??? Well long story short, they HAVE NO IDEA WHY I AM BLEEDING SO MUCH????????????? Both babies are in excellent shape, no tears or wierdenss, cervix closed, they check out completely healthy. I on the other had have had increased nausea, vomiting, headache and major constipation and feel I am about to lose my mind. I have lost 5 pounds which I am not proud of, but its because I have been vomiting and having loss of appetite. The ER Dr said I had a 50/50 chance of losing this pregnacy...but my OB said she beleives this pregnancy is going to stick an didnt think the ER Dr knew enough about multiple gestatons to give me such a worrisome prognosis...All I can say is I am so tired, and confused??? I know the silver lining is that I am still pregant with what appears to be healthy twins, but boy this is ONE ROUGH RIDE!

End of rant..............Ill wrote mor elater when I take a nap

thanks for listening to me whine

Ladies - hello - sorry to be away since friday. I'm back in DC for the opening of the show.

SueQiwi - so sorry. Nothing heals the disappointment. I don't know if you will try again, but it often takes many tries. I never asked... are you doing wheatgrass for high FSH? I drank a shot every day for a few months and lowered mine (which wasn't too high) and it also worked on my friend who had very very high fsh. anyway. I hope you will muster the strength to carry on. It doesn't have to be the end if you don't want it to be, but I know none of that helps the sadness and grief of a BFN. It just hurts and we are hurting with you.

TOO BEE - Oh MY GOD what an ordeal. and your Ob is right the ER docs have no clue. WE know more than they do. They know basic stuff about diagnosing but next time don't leave the hospital without speaking to your doc or a resident OB from upstairs. When I went the OB was doing a c- section so I couldn't, but I also had my sis there who used to work in the hospital and delivered her own kid there, so I knew we could get answers if she insisted. SInce my bleeding, I have read of so many multiples ppeople w/ bleeding. the uterus has to really stretch for us. keep eating what you can, and please lie down until even spotting subsides.

If we were 20 we could go nuts but we are older and it's like the difference between a 20 and a 40 year old doing a marathon. An older person has to train slowly, take it easy and stretch and care. We need extra care.

MY friend had harsh heavy bleeding 3 times in her st trimester and lots of brown. I still have lots of brown. I wish I had your doppler. I've had lots of weird feelings, and bad dreams and this last week (i'm 12 weeks 1 day despite what my ticker says) is agony. This is where I miscarried before and I am just white knuckling it through the week.

Okay and all bran and metamucil are the MOST effective of all the things I listed. I now just do a serving (5 capsules) of metamucil every single day and it's really set the record straight for me.

Val - You rock. I actually know a woman who went in for her D & C. But her husband demanded an ultrasound first and there was their baby who is now 2
