dagnytaggart - welcome!

yikes - i'm triggering tonight! - ER on Sunday... only 6 days of stims and here I am... I think I have 6 follicles that are between 12 and 20 and then a couple more that are trailing...

really hoping for the best and nervous - especially about this shot tonight. is it hard to do? i can picture us getting it ready at midnight and sitting there staring at it for an hour until 1am - when I'm supposed to do it... ha.

i started taking baby aspirin as a good luck charm (and maybe it will actually help) - my RE says it can't hurt you and it might help....

Sloan - The hardest part of the trigger shot for me was having my DH do it! lol He doesn't like needles and was not happy that he had to give me that one! But he survived. It actually didn't hurt at all. Good luck and happy triggering! :-D

wow sloan...good luck and babydust for triggering tonight! i stimmed in 6 days last time& only got 2big follies (but i'm a low responder), they want to extend my stimming time this cycle so that i can get more quantity. i've not heard that short stim period effects quality. i did end up with a viable pregnancy last time although it ended in m/c, so maybe you won't have lots, but you'll have 1 that works!

kas- sorry to hear of the bitchy receptionist, frankly, i'd be tempted to find some polite way of telling her she's not nice...i've just got so sick of unhelpful people.
chris- glad you're back :D

welcome dagny. what happened with your last cycle? my first cycle was cancelled after 4 days and i was devastated.

my stims are going ok. hard to tell, i almost wish i had some horrible side effects so that i could think they're' working. i was very bitchy this morning but not sure that i can blame that on any meds :D .

hi to everyone else...robin, bell- nice to hear from you.

Sloan Congrats on the trigger!!! The trigger is always at some inconvenient time!!! I went to bed and set the alarm to wake me up (it was about 2am) i could not sleep though as i was worried in case i overslept and missed it!! SO sounds like a plan to stay up.... Good Luck :D

Sloan - Good luck with ER tomorrow. Hope your trigger went OK. I was lucky enough to be able to trigger at 8 pm so it wasn't too much of a pain for me time wise. Plus mine was a sub-q shot so it was no big deal. Baby dust to you and praying for a bunch of great eggs.

Karen - ImageTime flys so much, your first u/s is already tomorrow. I know you will have some good follies growing. Like you found out last time it only takes a couple but it is a little less pressure when you have some good eggs to choose from. Thanks for updating the schedule, I would be really behind right now if you were not doing it.

Kas - I am giving you the official battering ram for your RE's nurse. She sounds like such a bi***. I am really glad my RE has some awesome nurses. It would make the IVF process so much harder if I couldn't feel comfortable calling the RE's office and asking questions. Image

Well, 6 days and counting till I start my lupron shots. Image. I think vacation has kind of killed all my PMA, I am really starting to dought this cycle again. I just don't know what I will do if it doesn't work. So I am not going to think about it and post all the smiley faces I can and hopefully pull myself out of this funk.

ajdec - thanks for asking -- Trigger went well. I was nervous but my DH was totally calm. And we got it done. Tomorrow I go in at 11... I'm hoping there's at least 6 and hopefully more. PLEASE be healthy. I'm going to acupuncture one more time today to hopefully seal the deal... :)

I'll let you all know.

To have fun - it's so nice to have you back. we'll help restore your PMA!

Hope everyone else is doing okay!

today i'm exhausted. staying up till 1, getting up every morning early for blood check takes its toll. However I have to say the nurse today was SO positive and nice - (they generally are but she was exceptional) it was really a gift. here's wishing everyone else similar...

Karen - Don't worry about making a mistake, I was the same way when I was updating the Aug/Sep board. I was always afraid of getting something wrong but in the end, if it was wrong that person or someone else can always post the correct response. I also thought I was updating it alot but it was easeir to keep track of everyone that way. After awhile I figured out I could just go back and edit my previuos schedule. It made it a little easier and I didn't have to post a new schedule all the time. Now that I am back, both of us can do it so maybe it won't be as hard to keep up. This is going to be a very big board seeing that we have Oct, Nov and Dec so it might take 2 of us to keep it update.

Hope eveyone else is having a good day.

Good morning to everyone!
Karen Can't wait to hear how your u/s went. Grow follies grow!!! I'm also glad to hear you are feeling so great (bitchy and headachy!)

to_have_fun Thanks once again for creating the list for us....it makes it so much easier to keep track of everyone. I just took a peek at our old list on Aug/Sept thread and was saddened by so many frownies. It seemed like we were off to such a good start.

adjec Hope your are feeling some serenity during that 2ww! That beautiful embie is getting comfy in there and snuggling in tight. Last cycle the first 3 days of the 2ww were extremely difficult.....could not concentrate on work or anything except my little one. That is okay because that little one is the most important thing in the world! Good luck to you.

To everyone I missed....hope all is well and positive. :)

For me.....My AP told me on Thurs. that she wanted me to wait at least an additional AF (an extra month) before doing IVF. But it turns out, she is going away for 2 wks at Christmas, so she would not be avaible to do AP at transfer which is VERY important to me. ( It worked last time!) Anyway, so if I did wait, it would put my cycle into January. DH does not want me to wait, he thinks it is fine as long as my RE says it is. In a way I feel it would be good for my chances to wait, but I do not want to wait until January! Our tentative decision is to go ahead for Nov., but I feel kind of weird like I'm selfishly rushing the process. :?:
