adjec - YEAH, I can't wait for your BETA. I know the wait will drive anyone insane. Just keep telling yourself that you will get that BFP. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you. Image

gina- You definatly haven't had the best of times lately. Is your arm any better? I agree this is your down moment and your next high you will be hearing those words "Your Pregnant".

Melissag - Welcome to the board. We have a lot of great women on here that can be of great support.

chenry4413 - The decision for DE would be very hard. Maybe it will just take some time for DH to wrap his mind around the idea. I know it is less stressful if you have a back up game plan but hopefully you won't need it.

As for me, I am still finding it hard to get my PMA. I mean I am not totally down or depressed, I just am not excited about starting a new cycle. Also, I read the board all the time but for some reason I just don't feel like posting so much. I think as soon as I start stims I will be back in the saddle. Maybe it is a good thing because I was spending way too much time here. Well, only 4 more days till I get to start lupron and loving all those needles. YEAH!!!!
So this is my emotional status right now. Sometimes I am up and happy the next moment I am down.

I am going to bed now, talk with you all tomorrow.

Good Morning Ladies!

I know it has been a while since I posted last, but I have been keeping an eye on everyone – just nothing going on over here to report. Well I finally got by period and talked to my doctor, I start BCP this Friday the 24th and Lupron on Nov. 7th – I am excited, but very scared at the same time.

Good morning all,
So I just had my b/w & u/s today (first one after starting stims on Sat) and they said that the follies were still small but that was normal. Does that sound normal to you guys? I expected there'd be something to measure by now.... I hope the stims are working...

Okay...today I'm feeling afraid to take a HPT or the beta. It's like I don't want to know...I want to go along just thinking I am PG. Has this happened to anyone...or do you all just want to know for sure? I'm terrified of a BFN....

adjec - I know it is scary to find out one way or the other. If it doesn't work that really sucks. Then if it does work it is probably the most awesome feeling in life but then a really big change also. Finding out brings you closure in one way or another. Not taking the test and thinking you are PG does sound good but in the end you will eventually have to get the answer. I remember I was so scared to POAS. I had POAS a million times before but with my IVF cycle it was so different. I eventually made myself do it because I am one of those people that want to find out the bad news before I actually get it from a stranger. After getting negatives for 5 days I was ready to get the final BFN from the RE to get my cycle over and done with. Good luck,

I will be 33 years next month so you see, I can't keep postponing the whole thing.

I have being put on suprefact injections, and will go for the first scan on the 4th of November.

I wish all of us luck, and let us keep ourselves posted on this thread.

Thanks fun08 for creating this thread

Hey ladies

Welcome MalissaQ and Mally Good to have you both on board !!

Gina Sorry about your accident. Being one handed (even temporarily) is tough. Lets hope the physical therapy gets results quickly for you, or you will be relying on DH for all the shots (my DH enjoys 'playing doctor' with the shots, but thats a different story. Dont want to overshare! )

foreverlove Good to hear from you!!! Glad you get to start the BCP's. - its countdown time!!

Jenn Just wondered how you are doing as we've not heard from you in a while.... Hopefully the pain from surgery is mostly gone now and you are starting to recover emotionally too. I was also sad to loose my tubes, but as my RE said 'they wont ever help you get PG, in fact they are the thing STOPPING you from getting PG right now'. This helps me when i get down over it....

To have Fun Oh Oh Oh You and me need to have a talk Lady!!! You are my buddy on this board and i refuse to let you get down like this!!!!! You are such a wonderful person and after all this waiting you are getting started in like 3 days time!. Thats only 72 hours!!!!! I am so excited that you are getting started. See, now i wish i had paid attention when you told us how to get the smileys as i would post the biggest, craziest flashing smiley i could find !!!!! (or a spinning banana...)

:D  :P

robin611 - Some people stim slower so don't worry about your follies being small. I think last cycle I had 3 or 4 that were over 10 mm on after 4 days of stims and all the others were smaller. My RE doesn't try and measure them until they are around 10mm. I am sure you are doing I think what the RE is looking for at this time is that your E2 levles are rising.

gina- glad you are going to the physical thearpist. Hopefully they can help you out with your pain.

Mally - Welcome to the board. What is superfact? I have heard of it before but have never found out what it is. Good luck with your cycle.

foreverlove- nice to hear from you. Our cycles are a couple weeks behind. I start lupron on the 24th and stims on the 7th. Time flys and you will be headed to ER in no time. It is normal to be excited and scared. Just take it one step and a time and we will be there if you want to talk.

hey ladies thank you so much for your support...dh has been really helpful he did the 3 loads of clothes that needed to be washed for me....he works nights, but he trys to keep the house as neat as possible...i went to physical therapy today...some of it was good but again more bad news they think i my have a slipped disc (just a mild one that should go away with PT, but it is going to be a hard workout which i am determined to do.....the PT gave me a easier massage which made my back feel alittle bit better, but my arm and neck & still in pain, but i keep telling myself time heals all wounds & i know with me focusing on ivf that this wound will heal in no time...thanks again ladies...big hugs to all of u...& i am sending more than ever baby dust to u all

hi ladies, wow, lots to catch up on. :D it's wonderful how much sharing takes place here.

so i had a good second u/s today. i still have 7 follies, and they've all grown, between 11-15 they measure. so it's encouraging. i'm back again thursday for another check. i haven't been this hopeful and excited in a long time!

welcome melissa and mally. gina, i'm so sorry about your accident and pain- how awful!

wonder- i don't have any frosties, and DHEA is a hormone supplement/steroid thought to rejuvenate ovarian function in those with high FSH/ diminished ovarian reserve. the center for human reproduction in NYC is researching it (lots on their website), and a toronto clinic uses it too.

chenry- wow, approaching the DE discussion, good for you. we've talked of it also. a conversation like that can take courage some days.

robin- i hope you're next u/s brings you more confidence. i hate ambiguous answers from my RE! 'we'll see' kind-of -talk doesn't help us feel at ease. keep us posted.

and yes ajdec- i get the not wanting to know the results of bfp or bfn. when i don't know, i can live inmy fantasy world of birthing babies, i'm terrified of bad news.

chris- keep hangin in there girlfriend! i get that disconnecting kind of behavior sometimes too. let us be here for you.

sorry i haven't updated the board lately. to get to my u/s 's, i have to travel 3 or so hours and i head there the night before and stay with a friend so that i'm not driving at 3 am...so been busy but i'll try to get to it later.

love to all and hi to those i didn't mention tonight. karen

Hi ladies, I was hoping I might be able to join your board. I have been reading the posts for a while and it is so nice to be in contact with people who are experiencing the same highs and lows, heartbreak and hope.

I am in the middle of a mock FET cycle right now. Going in for an endometrial biopsy next week and hoping to do an actual FET at the end of November.

Wishing happy baby thoughts to all!
