Thanks Nickster! We are doing good here. How is everyone else? You girls better log back on or I won't have anyone to tell my latest news to...and I've got some pretty fun news...
Hi all! I am back at work and boy - is it hard to manage it all with having Noah! But we are managing. Noah is now sleeping through the night pretty regularly...at least every other night. It is amazing as he will go down at like 10 p.m. and not wake and eat again until 7 a.m. I am VERY lucky. He started it my first week back at work - it's like he KNEW! Work is going well. All my hard work before mat leave is SO paying off. I am having some great sales for January...which means my commission will come in March. Yeah - we can pay off IVF debt, school loans for my hubby, etc. I am sooooo happy. Noah is staying at our neighbor's house through the end of the year so I can walk him up there and even go up and feed him at lunch. It is nice. I HATE being away from him. That part sucks.
Ok, so how is everyone?
Jenn - what is the news???

We're good. Nothing new, really. Still battling Lucy all night long...Tina you are so lucky Noah is a good sleeper. Lucy sucks at sleeping. I think she must be getting her back molars in because she just seems to be in pain all night long. Screams for hours. I thought babies were supposed to get better at sleeping, but Lucy is just getting worse and worse. Oh well, who needs sleep, right?
Meg- If it makes you feel any better, Shelby is three, and she has only slept through the night like 10 times in her whole life. She gets up at least twice a night for no apparent reason. I bragged on her once school started back up because she was sleeping through the night, and then she quit. URG!!! Fortunately, my dh is really great about getting up with her. I figure by the time she is 18 she will be sleeping through the night.
Okay Jen, the carrot has been dangling long enough!!!!! What is the news?
It is funny when you have kids...it is like, you just never really sleep again...at least not like we used to! I need to shut up though..it still freaks me out that Noah will stay in his little bed that long...up to 8-9 hours. He must just know that I NEED sleep. I have been reading and using what the Baby Whisperer says in her book - it has really worked.
Jenn - cough up the news, damn it.

We are great here - little Amelie is being a lovely baby. Lots of good naps during the day and she sleeps 7 to 7 a night with just a quick feed around 3 am - she is so cute - lots of smiles and chuckles now and loves playing with her toys. I like putting her on her tummy and watch her look around.
She's also enjoying her baths alot more - we've had a few hot afternoons so I've bathed on her on our outside table in the late sun. Lucky her - it's like having an outdoor spa bath . Babies are so lucky - what a great life they have!
Nickster - I forgot to say I checked out your holiday photos - you look great - sounds like a wonderful relaxing time to get you ready for the next cycle. We'll be with you every step.
Tina - good luck back at work - glad all is going well.
Hope everyone else is well.

Alright Jenn....can't take much more suspense!! Please spill it girl!
Tina~ Glad to hear Noah's cooperating, but I bet that was still sooo hard to go back to work. I know people do it all the time but I can't imagine how hard that would be. We need new pictures so we can see how cute the lil guy has gotten!
Meg & Robbo~ Wow...do they really go that long without sleeping through the night? How awful! Is it possible for me to order one...I'll have one (or two) sleepers please! Just kidding. I guess you get used to it after a while.
Angie~Wow speaking of sleepers, you're a pretty lucky lady too eh? Good for you guys. And again....pictures please!
Thanks for the nice words about our vacation pictures (and everyone else that has said nice things!). We did have such a great time. I want to go back!
Angie- sounds like the little princess is doing great! I know what you mean about the life of a baby. Our princess gets a bath every night and then I massage her down with lotion. I would love that every night! and hot meals brought to you whenever you get hungry, everyone smiling at you and playing with you and trying to keep you happy... that is the life!
Tina- I'm glad going back to work has been an easy transition for Noah. You are lucky he is close and you can see him during the day.
Meg- I know that teeth thing does interupt their sleeping. I think Anna is getting more because she has been particularly crabby lately!
Ok sorry to keep ya'll in suspense for so long! I knew I could get you back if I dangled a carrot!! It looks like we may not have to do that FET after all. After feeling like CRAP for a while and wondering when I would get the pleasure of AF this month I took a chance and poas. It was positive !! I have an u/s next week. We are praying there is a healthy one in there. We are shocked!! That is my news. Gotta run. I'll be back later.
OMG Jenn!!! How awesome! Congrats!
I knew it. Last night in my post I almost said "are you pregnant?" but I didn't want to spoil your surprise if that was the case. That is great. What day is your us next week?
JENN!!!! WOW!!!! How exciting!!! Are you just SHOCKED???? CONGRATS!!! That is just amazing news!!!!!!!
Ok, Noah is amazing. He slept from 10 p.m. last night until 8 a.m. this morning. WTF??? This kid is a dream. Please, please, please let this continue. I woke up LATE because I use him as my alarm clock. I look over at him and he is just hanging out and looking around in his bed like everything is cool. He had not eaten in 11 hours!!! How did I get this lucky? I swear someone knew I needed a kid like this. He will probably stir it up in his teenage years to pay me back....
I downloaded some new pics so will post some soon.
JENN - AGAIN, so happy for you!! Keep us posted!!!!!
Nickster - That is IT! Your turn is next. I will not rest until you are pregnant. You just so deserve it. I swear you are an angel for the job you do while trying to get pregnant. I would have killed someone and ended up in jail by now. And oh honey - a girl like me would not do well in prison. No ma'mm. I would get my a-- kicked so fast with my smart mouth.
Ok, gotta run. Talk at ya'll all later!

HOW EXCITING JENN! What great news - it seems really common on these boards - the first one requires all that IVF treatment and bang ! NO.2 happens just like that. Wow! Can't wait to hear about the ultra sound.
We are going back to see Dr G in a couple of weeks - just to talk about plans for No.2. Not ready to do anything just yet of course (I think 2 in a year would be a bit much for me!!) but want to start thinking about what we'll do, given I hit the Big 40 next year - (aaagghhhh!) we can't dilly dally too much.
