Hey Em
Wow your so close to now i'm booked in at caboolture would have been funny if we ended up in the same place and finally put faces to names. Are you all organized how do you think your going to go with two munchkins at home already and a ceasar hopefully dh is able to help out for a while did you find out what flavour bub was and thought of any names haven't got much time now. One good thing is this ceasar is planned and should be different if it wasn't last time like mine. Well the 15th thats great can't wait to hear all your details i hope everything goes well and wish u all the best

Thanks kery
It's all getting a bit exciting now and nervous i'm not to keen on the ceasar idea but can't make a decision so seeing i'm already booked in i'll end up going that way i have my pre admission appointment this wednesday and then thursday is the day and your right about the uncomfortable bit wait till you get down to the last month which is definately the worse i would hate to think how it feels for those expecting twins or more . I finally started the painting today i'd been putting it off due to having ds at home and knowing how helpful he likes to be i decided it would be a mistake to do it while he's about. Anyway the room is bright pink we only did half way up the wall and have seperated the two colours with a butterfly wall paper border strip which is real pretty. i've been having really bad siatica of a night time but only when i'm laying in bed or trying to get my bits to roll over which must be a sight.

well 12 weeks thats not long either now has everything been going smoothly i hope so

Ems how about you how do you think your going to go with two other munchkins to tend to and having a ceasar. hope all goes well and you recover quickly.

hey tiger how goes things good i hope

take care all chat soon JOMAExxx

haha Jomae you make me laugh but yea you are right the last month of pregnancy isn't very glamorous!! You are doing well painting gee I had trouble balancing on a ladder at 6 months!! The room sounds very pretty I would have love to have done up a girls room but if it turned out to be a boy I don't think he would be impressed. I still can't believe that you and Em are about to have your little girls in a few days. It seems like only a few months ago that you said you got a BFP. Is this the last one for you or do you think you will have another one?

Hey Kery
oh no once Katie has vacated the shop is shut with a dead bolt unless for some miracle she is the perfect baby and i forget what ds was like then no no more. The room was one of the reasons we found out this time we did a neutral room for ds and although it was nice it was one thing i thought could have been better if we knew. but a suprize is so nice also and i almost went that way also gee can you tell i find it hard to make decisions. i'm so hoping i go into labour before the 16th if i do i intend on trying naturally but if not then the ceasar it will be.

have you picked out names yet

Em how about you any names picked yet

We came up with Jayde for a girl and Cruz for a boy early on. We come uo with other names but always come back to those two. Who knows I'm a bit like you making decisions is not one of my strengths!! You did well you thought of a name and stuck with it.

Hey kery
nice names i was considering having Jade for katies middle name but have decided on using Grace which if i had two girls that would be there names but seeing i think shop is shut it would be a waste not to use it on her.i've always known that if i have a girl i would call her Katie i've loved the name since a girl myself and have never known a katie i didn't like which always helps

Man thursdays close i need to make a decision

Em if your logging on how goes things excited yet

Hey grils

Just pooping on to let you know all is well came home yesterday with a healthy baby girl we called Katie Grace she was born 6lb1ounce and 45cms long with dark dark hair. things have been going ok except the breast feeding katie had lost just over 10% of her body weight by day three shes such a sleepy baby that she wouldn't wake for 7 to 8 hours at a time for a feed and for the feeds in between those times she couldn't be woken enough to feed properly and there for lost so much i managed to get her weight up by 80grams over night with expressing and feeding with a medicine cup or syringe but my niplles have become that sore from her slipping of when falling asleep and because of the fact that shes a bit tongue tied and doesn't bring her tongue out properly that i can't stand the thought of putting her back on anyway ong story short iv'e decided to put her on the bottle and bnot stress about it anymore. By the way kery if you happen to need a ceasar don't let them do it with out morphine it is the worse thing ever you can feel every pull, tug and push. On a good note Katie seems to be the perfect baby she sleeps all day and is very easy to please.

Best go need to get some sleep Em hope things went well for you let us know how you and bub are

CONGRATS JOMAE!!!!!
I have been wondering how you and Em got along. I'm so glad that both Katie and yourself are doing ok. Yea good on you for going to the bottle. If she was starting to loose weight and you are sore I think it is the best thing to do. I tryed for three weeks with my ds and it was three weeks of hell that ended me up back in hospital with mastitis. What does your ds think of his new sister? Well congrads again to you and dh and I hope you are getting plenty of rest!!

Hi girls!

Addison Grace arrived on Wed 15th weighing 7lb2oz (3230g). I had to laugh Jomae, our stories could have been cut and pasted, they were so similar! Addy also has a shock of black hair (the twins were bald!) By day 3 she had lost well over her 10% and was jaundiced. She was very sleepy and we aslo had to wake her for feeds, which she would only sick for 5 mins before falling asleep again.

By day 4 she had lost more weight and was very dehydrated so they decided to comp feed her. My milk still hadn't come in by day 5 and the midwives suggested that I would have to BF for 30mins, express for 30mins and then bottle feed. And I was to do this every 3 hours to boost my supply. All I could think of was my twins and what this would mean for them and just decided to go for the bottle instead.

Jomae- I also had no morphine for my caesar but it was so much better than the last time- I vomitted for 24 hours straight and was bringing up blood by the end of it! They think I am sensitive to the morphine so instead I had a transabdominal pain block as well as a spinal. I didn't get sick but was a little uncomfortable over the next two days...but it was so much better than the state i was in after the twins!

Congrats Jomae on Katie Grace!

hi Em
Congratulations on the safe arrival of your little girl Addison grace is a beautiful name hows she doing now with the weight i had katie weighed yesterday and shes now 3200grams so 130grams over her birth weight. Isn't it funny how similar our stories are and i'm glad you mentioned why you didn't feed i sort of feel guilty for not doing it but she is so hard to wake that she either doesn't get enough energy to latch on properly or when she does it's for about 3 or 4 sucks and she off and dozing and to be honest the thought of having to pump 12 to 14 times a day and then have time to bottle feed her is a bit over whelming i just can't help to think when would i get the time with ds aswelli figured maybe i could pump until the boobs healed and then try her on again but when i did the damage happened again so i difinately can't feed her directly from the boob as they damage so easily which is a huge shame seeing i had a great supply. Anyway i'm trying not to focus to much on not being able to feed properly and getting on with it otherwise i'll go mental so i'm glad to hear you made the same decision especially seeing we had very similar stories oh btw katie is also slightly tongue tied which also stops her from bringing her tongue out properly which as you know stops her from getting a good attachment. apart from the feeding Katie is so placid and quiet at this point she is the perfect baby at times i wouldn't even know she was here i just look at her some times hoping she'll wake up . How are your boys going with their little sister i bet you have to keep a good eye on them i know i do with ds he's always trying to hold her hand or touch her eyes.

Congrats again love to hear more from you

Hey Kery and tiger how goes things
