I'm just wondering if there are any moms-to-be in my area? I'm actually in Queens, but was wondering if there are ny MTB in Queens, Bronx, Brooklyn, etc.

You and I are on the Double/Triple+ 2009 board together. I posted about doing a keepsake ultrasound and finding out what the babies where with about 85% accuracy when I was 13 weeks.
Don't you remember that I sent you a PM about sending me your due date so I can post a list? (Which I did by the way. Check out the thread, your ticker is up there with everyone elses.)
I was feeling terrible from 6 to about 10 1/2 weeks then everything started to taper off. I'm still a little gaggy and my BB's are still a little sensitive. but for the most part it's mainly the muscle aches from my upper thighs to about 4 inches below my belly button that are getting to me. The dr. says it's my ligaments pulling to acomodate my growing uterus and it'll pass, but it really hurts from time time to time. Especially if I walk too much.
OH GOD AND THE HEART BURN!!!!!!! I'm popping like 12 tums a day. But besides that I feelt more energetic and just plain better here in the 2nd trimester.
What about you? You showing yet?
I had morning sickness just a couple of times from 6 to 14 weeks, vomitted 3x - not bad. I was sooooo tired-going to bed at 830 every night. Now, like u, I had a lot of aches and pains. Sometimes when I'm sleeping and I go to turn over I get the sharpest pain in my lower left or righet- I swear an organ is moving!! I am showing A LOT! Are u?

well, I was a big girl to start with. I feel myself showing more than it's apparent to other people. I feel my waist pushing out and can almost feel my uterus big in my belly when I walk sometimes, so I have no doubt in my mind that if I where thin I would be showing alot as well. But I suppose I'm showing a little bit.
Hi ladies,
I am not from the 5 boros but from Seaford (nassau county)....not too far. Congrats on your twins. I too was preg with twins but sadly lost one at 7 weeks. The singleton is doing well though, and I am currently 16w3d. I was wondering how you said you found out the sex of the babies. I had a sono today and they couldn't tell. I will have to wait for the 20wk sono, and I am soooo curious.
Hope you both have a wonderful weekend!

Welcome! Nassua is rigth around the corner from me SilverAngel had an early gender determination scan at a 3d unltra sound clinic to determine the sex of her Angels. I am hoping that my OB can determine at least one sex on Monday during my OB apt. I will be 15 weeks then. We'll see.
I am sorry to hear about the loss of one of your twins but I am THRILLED that your Singleton is healthy!
