Lupron Question

I just started my first ivf on the 21 day of my cycle which was 9 days ago. I still have not gotten my period and it is now day 30 of my cycle. Does lupron delay the onset of mp? Also, I am having PGD and my doctor's office is telling me I have to have icsi with PGD, is this the normal protogal?

Hi - Good luck with your cycle! You didn't say how much lupron you are taking/day. I took 10 units a day and got AF after 8 days.

I can't offer any advice on PGD - we aren't doing PGD, but we have to do ICSI with DH issues.

oops sorry :) It is 10 units a day. I'm supposed to go in for b/w and u/s on Monday, Oct 27th. I hope I get it by then. It's weird, I have all the symptoms but nothing is happening....

The first time I took Lupron I took it for 12 days before I got my period...this cycle I took it for 14 days. My doc said this was normal...but, if you're worried you should call your doc. I went in on the 11th day and they did bloodwork and ultradsound and said that I would get my period any day...and sure enough I did.

So many worries!!!

I'm pretty sure I started Lupron the following day after the ovulation. I took it for 14 days before getting the period, 10 units. I think it's normal.
