Just had to share... DH made us go to the store and get a HPT and some sparkling grape juice! He said he still wanted to take the HPT so we could have that "moment" at home! lol So we did...and guess what...we're pregnant! lol So we took a picture of the stick and then broke open the sparkling juice! :-)

adjec - I think that is totally cool that you and DH are drinking grape juice and looking at the positive HPT. Enjoy!!!!

Congrats to adjec - that's so wonderful that you guys have celebrated and had your own little moment at home! I think that's important. Good luck with everything from here on out! Welcome any of the pregnancy symptoms with open arms!
I think we'll all be actually happy to have morning sickness and such...in my opinion, we're just a different "breed" than other women trying to get preggers cause we're going through SO much more emotionally and physically to have a baby that makes it that much more exciting to get a positive result and I dunno, I think were so more grateful for it. Not to say the other Mommies to be aren't but, it's just different. That's just me though. 8)
Good luck sloan! I am glad everything went well - despite the bumpy car ride home! My husband says when I go in for mine he's going to make me lie down all day after so they can attach themselves. He's so silly! Anyway, relax and try distract yourself as much as possible during this 2WW!! How exciting!!!! :D
So tohavefun - today was the big day for starting the Lupron. How was the whole experience? How are you feeling?? Good luck and keep your eyes on the prize!
I'll be in your shoes as of next Wednesday...I looked at my BP's today and got excited but I'm nervous too!
Well, good luck to everyone - I am sorry if I left anyone out - this board has gotten to be quite popular so kudos to you tohavefun for creating it!

Hope this isn't too big. DH is watching the hockey game so I have plenty of computer time on my hands.

Hey everyone, I'm Amanda. I wanted to get on with the October, November, December buddies. I am 27 years old, been married for four and a half years and TTC since the beginning. We have tried multiple clomid cycles with IUI with no luck My HSG was normal. His semen analysis was normal and for the most part, my lab work was normal. My progesterone is the only thing out of range; it's on the low side. RE thinks it may be an ovulatory functional problem. We are starting our first IVF. I have been on Lupron, started AF today and go back to RE tomorrow for another follow-up and to start on the stimulation meds. It's looking like the egg retrieval should be somewhere around the end of first week or beginning of second week of November. I'm very nervous, but also excited. I have noticed several people on here have had to have multiple IVF's which is scary for me because my insurance isn't covering anything. It's very frustrating, but you do what you have to do. Also, I won't be having IV sedation, my RE does oral pain and anxiety meds. Has anyone else had this for the retrieval and if so, how bad is it? I hope to keep up with some of you and I hope I have some good news within the next month!
TTC for over 4 years
HSG - tubes okay
DH semen analysis - good
Multiple clomid rounds and IUI - no sucess
On meds for first IVF attempt

YEAH ROSARIO!!!!! - So glad you will be starting ASAP. Can't wait for your BFP.

Amanda - Welcome to the board. I won't lie to you, IVF just sucks but we have to do what we have to do. Yes, a lot of us are on our 2nd, 3rd and even 5th try. Don't let is scare you, lots of ladies get a BFP their first try. Looking forward to celebrating your BFP.

Kas - I am glad you like it. I have been surfing the net for blinkies a smilies for the past 2 hours so you all will probably be tired of me by the end of your cycles.

Hi guys,
Sorry no personals today - but congrats to those with the great fertilization & ER reports and good luck to those with upcoming ER & ET's and welcome to the newbies! I only have a few minutes - it's my inlaws anniversary and we heading up to CT today. I just got back from my u/s and my follies are progressing but still slowly. They only record measurements of follies over 10 and she recorded 1 on the left. She measured a few on the right but I guess they were only close b/c she didn't record them. So, she said they are growing but still slowly and my ER will likely be moved from 10/30 to a later date. I'm ok with that as long as they keep growing and they don't have to cancel! She did say they might let the 1 big go in favor of waiting for all the others to mature at the same time. Has anyone heard of that? Thanks for all your support!
-Robin
