hello all.

Anyone remember me? I have not been here in a while, been dealing with a lot as far as trying to embrace our pregnancy, Drs recommending reduction, etc.

Today, we are happily still preggers with triplets, and all the roller coaster of will we or won't me is behind us!

Glad to be back.

Well hi sweetmomi- Welcome back. I am happy for you and your dh and your three little ones. The topic of reduction is so tough. Glad you have the rollercoaster behind you. I know there are concerns, but triplets have been born before and are doing well. I am sure you have been advised how to stay healthy for this pregnancy. I will be sending you good thoughts. So when is your EDD?

As for me well I am 13 weeks and feeling great. I opted out of having Nuchal testing done. partially because I wasn't going to have amnio done to begin with, so I didn't see the need of worrying more if the testing can back bad. I suppose I will have to deal with whatever comes my way. Of course we all pray and hope for a healthy baby, but we wouldn't do anything different if the child wasn't healthy. I suppose we will tackle that when we get there. Meanwhile, baby is growing right on track...actually measuring a bit big. I feel like I am almost out of the woods as far as miscarriage goes. As time goes by I feel better that this baby is here for the long haul.

I stained a door the other day with minwax wood stain and wore a charcoal mask. I also wore gloves because I was concerned about getting it on my skin. The chemicals are terrible in that stuff. Anyone have any advice of some additional precautions I can take? I stained it in the garage with it fully open for ventilation, and I was only in there a minimal amount of time. I am trying to get my daughter's room finished so that I can start working on baby room. I will let my dh handle the polyurathane. I just had to help because he has a list a mile long. We had to order all new kitchen appliances, and he has the task of the removing the exisiting ones and installing the new ones. It has been a zoo around here trying to get projects done so that we can start some new much needed ones. We will start the flooring project in Feb. or March. I want it all done before baby is born.

Well I hope everyone is doing well.

Take care
Elizabeth

I’ll be signing off. Went in yesterday morning for NT scan. Never got the nuchal measurements because instead they found a rare neural tube defect. The fetus was non-viable. Chance of occurring 1 or 2 in 1000. Chance of reoccurance 3-5%. Had a D & E today. Very sad.

Hey everyone. I just wanted to come on and share my exciting news. I felt and honest to God, no way it could be anything else, I'm not imagining it, real life baby kick yesterday.
Not a flutter, which I've been feeling since about 13 1/2 weeks, but I was sitting here at the computer yesterday afternoon, (after just having ate, which is when I feel the flutters more than any other time) and I was feeling the flutters and then BOOM, a light little kick.
It was amazing and I called DH and cried like a baby, AGAIN.
We've been through so much. And going through that today humbled me in that all our hard work and tears and sadness has paid off to a point. I've waited and wanted to feel that my whole life, a little voice inside my head said that there was a chance that this might never happen while we where going trough all of this and I remembered it today. And was so happy it was wrong.
I felt like I've gone through a right of passage today. Sorry to ramble and sound corny, but I'm just so happy and I wanted to share it with you all.

SilverAngel679- What a great post!

I can't wait to feel the baby kick. Last night I felt fluttering and little bubble like feelings in my belly. I stayed up later than I should waiting to feel more. I know that I will just be overjoyed with a big kick!

I am happy for you, and find it great that you are so incredibly happy!!

Take care,
Elizabeth

hi guys. hope all is well.

AFM - I suffered a miscarriage of my babies this week - diagnosed with inompetent cervix, unfortunately too late. Been through an ordeal the past couple of days.

I hope to be able to check on you guys but it may be too emotional for me to keep up. Take care all.

Thanks for the well wishes. Hardest thing we have evern been through.

Wasn't there someone on here who used a surrogate? I have questions about that. My sister in law has offered and we have embryos.

Please PM me.

I haven't posted in awhile so I wanted to give a quick update. I am 17 weeks today but I look as though I am 7 months pregnant with a Singleton - I love it!!! So far, everything is good AND we found that Twin A is a boy, Michael and that Twin B is most likely a girl, Sophia! We will confirm Twin B on the 11.26 when I go for our fetal anatomy US.

My best to everyone!

Jenniferpd!! I'm so happy to hear from you. The last time I saw you on the double/triple+ trouble '09 thread you where having some spotting and we didn;t hear from you after. I've been thinking about you and I'm so glad that everything is fine. Please let me know when you confirm the sexes so that I can update your ticker on the other thread. So funny though. We found out that our twins are most likely a boy and a girl and our girl is going to be named Sophia as well. Great minds think alike!!!!

SilverAngel, thank you for thinking of me. Twin A's placenta is a bit low to my cervix, nothing to me alarmed about BUT it can cause spotting as I grow. This should rectify itself by the time I am leaving my 2nd trimester.
I will absolutley recah out whne the sexes are confoirmed! Isn't Sophia a lovely name? It means brave and strong, I think!
