Any One Else Having Trouble Peeing?

Post by SilverAngel679 »

Hey ladies, I need some advice if that's ok.
I'm 15.5 weeks along with twins and about 2 days ago I noticed that it was hard for me to pee. I mean, I'll have to go and when I sit on the toilet (sorry for being graphic) I noticed that I have to force it out. If I don't push it out, it barley trickles out on its own. Even if have a completely full bladder.
I looked it up in what to expect and, having no other signs of a urinary tract infection, the only other explaination is that my uterus is tilted and pushing on my urethra, making it hard for the urine to flow out.
I've been told spacifically in the past that my uterus is NOT tilted and that I was totally fine in that category, but why this now?
Has any one else had anything similar happen to them? What was the prognosis and did it clear up? Where there any treatments?
Any advice would be great as I am not so concerned about the babies but about myself. The book said that if that's what it is and it gets bad, I'll have to have a cathetor put in!!!!

I had major pee trouble for most of my pregnancy. It wasn't a UTI. Our bladders are squeezed into oblivion with all the extra pressure. The upside: now that I delivered (c-section), there is plenty extra room in my bladder since it was stretched, and I never peed so well in my life!

Good luck with your pregnancy, and hope the peeing improves.

Thanks so much for your reply. The funniest thing though, right after I finished posting that thread I went to the bathroom and peed just fine!!! It's like that whole thing never happened. I mean, it was literally right after I hit the "post" button. Everythings been just fine since. Very weird.
