Anyone else going crazy in the 2WW?

Hello everyone,

Ajdec- I am so very happy for you. I am too thinking twins because my beta was 302 yesterday, which was my 2ww date but I tested early on Tuesday and it was 152. I told my doctor that I thought I might have two babies in my uterus because I am already showing big time...! But the IVF nurse said my ovaries are still very swollen so please be careful with lifting etc...! Are you experiencing the same thing?

hackney- I am so sorry that others are being very insensitive. I know exactly how you feel. During my last pregnancy, which turned put to be an ectopic my current manager was pregnant at the same time but she lost her baby one week after I lost my baby. But, she became pregnant last year and I watched her progress through the entire pregnancy, which was very difficult for me but I was happy for her but sad for me. Please have faith that your time will come soon.

To everyone else still in the 2ww your time is coming soon also. I am praying for each and every one of you!

angelaezra - I know that idential twins are a possibility...but I have a feeling that my high beta has more to do with the fact that we did a 5dt. And the embie implanted sooner and had longer to grow before my test. But...I guess if it is twins, we'll figure that out! lol I hope to know more after my next blood draw on Tuesday.

As for my ovaries...I don't really feel like they are still swollen. But I gained a bit of weight during my stimming meds. I didn't really eat anymore than normal, but I feel like I "puffed" up and it has stayed. Course it will all be worth it for the little one inside me...I always have time to lose the weight once he or she is here!

Good Morning Ladies,

So who is still with me in the horrible 2WW? My BETA is Tuesday - so only 3 more days. I went out and got the HPT this morning, think I am going to take it in the morning. Woke up this morning feeling less bloated and boobs not even a little tender. Not looking good! I have absolutely no pregnancy symtons.

I am still here in the 2ww.. I go for the beta tomorrow...
I broke down and POAS this morning.. even though I swore that I wouldn't. The good thing was that I got a positive result. So, hopefully tomorrow will bring some good news our way.

Don't worry about not "feeling" pregnant - I don't really feel pregnant either. My dreams are crazy, my boobs are a bit sore.. but, the bloat comes and goes... and I don't know if that is our bodies regulating to the Progesterone?? Also, being that you still have 3 days... I might wait until tomorrow or Monday to do HPT. I did mine on the First response early digital.. so there were no lines to read. I has a read out yes/no.. so, there was no guesswork. Good LUCK if you choose to do it. Also, remember first urine has the most hormone..

I can't believe we are on the computer this early on a Saturday!!! i went to sleep around 8 last night.. and b/c i do my PIO in the AM b/c of my husbands wacky PM schedule.. I was up at 645 unable to return to slumber...

Harelyloo, congrats on the POSITIVE on the HTP! I am wishing you the best of luck tomorrow!

I too had a wild dream last night, got my BETA results and it was 322!

I am not going to take the HPT today will hold out till tomorrow morning. I also do my PIO in the am, which is why I am up so early, the DH and I have early schedules so we take the PIO at 6am.

Hopefully all the 'POSTIVES' on the board this week will bring a little luck my way!!

I have read your stories... and it sounds like you and DH have paid your dues!!

I am praying for BFP's for us this week...
Keep your chin up.. only a few short more days!

I think doing the HPT tomorrow, in the AM is a good idea. I had my ET on 10/17... so, if i pulled a positive today, you should be able to pull one tomorrow. What test did you get? The First Response Y/N test was super easy.. no real biased opinion of a shadow / fake line / imagination getting in the way. If you haven't gotten that one.. maybe you can run out today and do both tests alongside eachother... (just an idea). I know .. its super easy to get obsessed on this HPT bandwagon!

'Paid our dues' that is what I keep telling myself. I just keep thinking ok I have spent 2 years month after month with the BFN and at some point it has to be out turn.

I got both the digital and non digital of First Response. Granted I want the YES on the digital HPT but at this point I would be also happy to see to faint lines on the non digital. Guess we will see what happens tomorrow morning. I will more than likely be the not of right mind just do them all - LOL!

As for me... My dh and I are going to go out and run some errands now.. but, I will be back on a bit later..

Do you like to read? Sometimes reading a great book, where I can just float away and get absorbed somewhere else, does the trick to pass the time.
looking for a recommendation? Here on Earth - Alice Hoffman.. finished it a few months ago.. and it was really captivating. Run to barnes and noble.. get a book, a journal, a bookmark and a nice pen... and come back and relax! that is always a good way for me to "escape".

Don't give up just because you don't have any symptoms...I really didn't either. Good luck with the HPT tomorrow morning and congrats to Lauren on your Positive!!! I'm telling you...feeling good things about the cycle! lol Happy weekend to all.

It's good to know others have the on/off symptoms that I'm experiencing. Trying to stay positive.

hi all,

I was out all day with DH.. we just got home and I am exhausted! We are in search of a new bedroom set.. and we were unsuccessful in finding one we both could agree upon. Oh well, at least I got to lay down on several different mattresses. So, we went out to dinner for a quick bite.. and it was so strange.. I was STARVING.. and as soon as I finished.. I felt so full that it made me nauseous. the strange thing was that i didn't really eat that much. I don't know if this might be the "first wave" of the dreaded morning sickness.. but, has anyone else felt any nausea during the 2ww? tomorrow I will be 9dp5dt... I was still under the impression that I wouldn't feel those symptoms YET. (needless to say, DH blasted me with the a/c even though it is cold out, b/c i had a simutaneous hot flash.. but, felt better and didn't get sick).

Ajdec, how are you feeling? when do you go back for the 2nd beta? tomorrow or Monday?

baileysmom03 - welcome! Helen (hackney) also has her first beta on Tuesday.. so, I am praying that you both bring in some BFP's for our board!!!

As for now.. I am going to go and watch a video with DH. We have decided to be lazy tonight.

Hey Harleyloo - I had that same sort of food issue lately too. Where I know I am hungry, so then I eat...but I can't eat a lot. And then it's not that I feel nausous...but I feel very...full and have a little heartburn.

How did your Beta go!?!?

I go for my second beta on Tuesday!

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update... I got my BFP today!
My HCG was 215 and my progesterone was 51..
I go back for beta #2 on Tuesday.. and the u/s is the following week.

Harleyloo, congrats on the BFP!

Took the HPT this morning and it was negative so my hopes for Tuesday are good. At least I have kinda already had my melt down today so Tuesday shouldn't be such a let down.

No sure if I can mentally do a third round. It is just so exhausting.
