Hi everyone,

Just checking in with everyone.

I have had a nice lie in this morning for the first time in ages. My dh and I are going to catch a movie today and just relax and not think about spit roasting or IVF all day, well maybe IVF alittle. Its nice sometimes to just take a break. I hope you are all having a lovely weekend and things are going well for you all.

Look forward to catching up on all your news during the week.
Take care my friends

hi my lovely ladies..i'm going to ER tomorrow!! i have 7 follies in range, although 1 of them may be too big (and old by tomorrow- it's a 21).. i have 3 smaller ones too that likely won't make it to maturity.

so it's all very exciting. although i've been exhausted beyond belief! went up to 4 needles a day, and travelled every day for 8 days, yuck. so happy to be home, and only 2 more trips to the big city, and they are more spaced out this time.

my follies measure from 16.5- 21...so hoping for at least 5 good ones in there out of the 7. i'm so HOPING FOR A MIRACLE! i want this soo bad. i've been watching other mommies with their babies and just wanting this. nothing else matters to me right now. i do believe DHEA had alot to do with this success.

anyways, love you all and hoping everyone a nice weekend (what's left of it). karen

Karen~this is terrific news! I am so happy to hear you've got 7 follies in range! This is so many more than you had last time!! This is so unexpected and wonderful, especially for a low responder. You should be proud. I just know you are going to get tons of eggs! Please let us know the minute you get back from retrieval.

I am still feeling sad--but more normal now. At least I am able to function through my day ok now. I find myself mad at my body. For not being able to make a baby. And for getting FAT! Man--you go through that whole horrible IVF process and get nothing but fat. ugh. And I am just not enjoying sex with my poor dear Hubbs beacuse I just dont feel good about my body on so many levels.

Karen- Good luck on your ER tom. I will be thinking of you. Please keep us updated once the meds wear off.

Sue- I know exactly how you feel but keep this in mind each step you take is setting you up for the perfect moment when you get your BFP. It will come, please don't give up. Your sacrifice will not go unnoticed!

Hello to everyone else. I hope everyone is having a good weekend.

I am supposed to go on Tuesday for my third beta. I sure hope this pregnancy goes better than my other two pregnancies. So far so good.

Hi everyone,

Well I am still on nights and havn't been able to get online at work so thought I would just see how everyone is doing.

Karen I hope you are well, I see from Sue that you got 9 eggs, that is really great news, I hope they are doing well, I hope you are feeling better from your ER. When is your ET and how many embies have you got, I'm excited for you.

Priya, thanks for sending the energy my way, I certainly could use it right now, these nights surely are a killer. I hope you are doing well. Are you still away on vacation. It seems everyone is moving on, I hope I can keep up with everyones progress maybe through other threads, I will certainly be looking out for you in January. I dont know whats going to happen to me. I haven't ovulated this month so I probably wont be able to do an unmedicated FET. My next appointment is 17th of november so I will see what happens.

I hope everyone else is doing well. sending my love to you all.
Take care

Hey everyone:

Kerry - Nice to hear from you. I was thinking about everyone today. 2 more weeks to go for your appointment - I will have my timer set :). Hope your work is not too busy during the nights. I am still in Asia for work. Will be back home in Nov.
By the time my IVF starts in Jan Kerry, you will already have BFP :) and I will join you with the good news :) :) :)

karen - way to go with 9 eggs. Hope your ER and ET went well. Let us know how many embryos you had put back in. Take it easy during your 2WW. Praying for your BFP !

Sue, Towachi - How are you guys doing?

Angela and Nichole - how did the next betas go? Am sure the numbers are rising :)

Work has been busy for me but no complains :) - its been fun since I am not at home :) :) ...... am actually a little scared to go back - with my hubby alone in the house I can only imagine the condition it will be in and how much work it will be for me to straighten it ;) - You know what I mean - right ladies :) :)

Lots of love to everyone;

Hello everyone,

Sorry I have been missing in action. I have been having a very difficult week this week. On Wednesday, I noticed some slight brown spotting. So I stayed at home and put my feet up and notified my RE. The next morning I didn't see anything but when I went to work I noticed, around 11am, the bleeding was back still dark brown and slight pinkish spotting, which increased from the day before. So I called my RE again and they were not concerned because I just had blood work done this past Tuesday and my beta was 1800 and my progesterone was 150, which would explain why my ovaries are still hurting on ocassion. Then I woke up on Friday and much more blood (still old brownish blood) but still it is blood so I called my RE again and they sent me for another beta and it was 2880 and my progesterone was 152. So I started to think maybe the bleeding was coming from the irritation from the Prometrium vaginal supplements affecting my cervix but when I went to my RE this morning I found out differently.

First of all, I was able to see my baby, which made me really happy and my RE said the bleeding was coming from the placenta. The placenta has a clot on one side and is seeping. He told me to take it easy with my leggs up and take Advil around the clock to calm my uterus down.

So now I feel better that I haven't miscarried but I am just praying that the bleeding stops and my pregnancy keeps progressing.

I hope everyone else is doing very well...!

Take care,

Angela

PriyaC,

Thank you so much for the positive response. I need all of the words of encouragement that I can get right now. The only thing I keep doing is thinking negatively when anything happens because of my last two pregnancies but everyone keeps reminding me that this is a different preganancy and I have to keep a positive attitude. I am trying by best...! Well, I will keep you updated on my progress. I am supposed to go for another beta tomorrow (Monday) and then then another ultrasound on Friday.

Everyone take care,

Angela

HI LADIES, so i had 2 grade A- embies transferred oct 30, my beta will be nov 13, we had 2 grade B's left to freeze, out of the 9 eggs, 5 were mature, 4 fertilized.

up until today, i was filled with PMA. totally feeling like this is our time. then today, fear has taken over. i'm starting to go nuts, think the worst, and feel bitter in advance...yuk. i hate this.

i just need to calm down and get some distractions in.

angela- so happy your spotting is not dangerous. i'm very happy for you.
hi priya and kez and sue. and towachi and nicole and anyone else out there. i think i need to get of the internet...it's likely making my obsession worse! i'll send more personals tomorrow, my negative attitude has exhausted me for the night. love to all karen

Hey Karen:
Don't be worried - I think its your time too ..... sounds like you transferred good grade embryos. And its great that you had some to freeze as well not that you wuld need them with your BFP this time :).
Now get off internet - switch on the TV and watch a movie or some comedy series ....... don't worry abt sending personal messages - take it easy. Just drop in a line on how you are doing once a while .....

Angela - all the best for the b/w. Am sure everything will be OK.

Lots of love

Hello Karen,

I know things will work out for you. You have to stay positive. I know it is so hard to go through the 2ww but it is out of your hands now. You did your part :)! Please keep us updated as you progress and know that we are here if you want to talk about your feelings when you are ready.

Please take care. I am off for my morning blood work!

Hi everyone,

Well I finished my nights and I'm pretty tired but I get the week off apart from a training day on wednesday.

Karen: I am sorry to hear your having a hard time, I totally empathise with you, Having gone through it 3 times and also with my sister 3 times I totally know where your coming from. Nothing can make it easier other than being sedated for 2 weeks and I dont really think thats an option  I hope you managed to watch some junk tv and take a break for a while. We are all thinking of you and are sure this time is your time. :)

Angela: I'm sorry you have had some bleeding, you should be reassured that they found where it was coming from and that it isn't really causing any problems. Also dark old blood shows that the clot is just dispersing slowly and finding its way out. I hope you feel better, I'm sure your going to be just fine, take care and take it easy :)

Priya: I'm glad your doing well, it really is lovely to see you on the boards giving support to everyone. This year really is going fast, I can't believe its November and will soon be christmas. My sisters baby is due in 2 weeks so christmas is going to busy in my family. With a bit of luck I will ovulate naturally :? and will be able to have my little frosties put in. What a christmas present that would be if it worked. I hope you enjoy your week, when will you be back in the US.

How is everyone else. Well I hope, keep us informed.

I have a week planned for advertising our business, just waiting for the final proof for leaflets and then I will be out visiting hotels and lots of other places giving out leaflets and cards, very busy. Also on day 30 of my cycle, I didn't ovulate this month which has really bummed me out so just waiting for my next AF and then my appointment with my doctor.

Take care all
Kerry xx
