Implantation, Biopsies and Treatment???

Post by kimbers312 »

I was wondering if anyone was told that IVF may not be working due to implantation issues which could be caused by inflammation of the endometrium.

If so I was wondering what was prescribed or suggested. Did anyone have biopsies taken of their endometrium lining for testing? If so, what treatment was recommended? Has anyone gotten pregnant after treatment for inflammation of the endometrium?

Thanks so much-kimbers

Hi Kimbers312,

I did have lining biopsies but ended up not doing anything about it...

I do know that they`ll give you hormones to inject to yourself to thicken the lining about a month before transfer.

Hope that helps...

Natasha.

Hi Kimbers312. I have been told inflammation of the endometrium might be the cause of my implantation failure. I have severe endometriosis and everything works great until it is time for implantation.

I am actually having a biopsy of my endometrium on wednesday. I am hoping it shows something that we can fix. I have also read that a biopsy causes a small trauma to the uterus which causes the uterus to heal in some way that aids implantation in the future.

Does implantation seem to be your only issued? Do you have endometriosis?
