Help!

Hi,

I am 9dpt (3 day embies). I took a hpt two days ago and there was a faint line(but a line). So of course the last two days i have probably taken half a dozen more and yes i am pregnant. I am VERY happy but I first had some brown spotting a couple days ago and the last day or so I have had some light pink blood? Not enough for a liner but its there when i wipe(almost everytime) I know TMI but just want to know if anyone else is experiencing this??

Could it be implantation bleeding? I hear that this is pretty common and no cause for alarm, though I did not have it. I would say don't worry unless it gets worse, then call your doc. Or call your doc as soon as you want - just to make yourself feel better. GOOD LUCK!

Some spotting is common in all pregnancies. More common in IVF pregnancies. I wouldn't worry too much unless you start seeing bright red blood. Congrats and Good Luck.

I had some very light spotting before and even the day of my BFP...congrats!!!! I wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy.

Embie, I was also one of the lucky ones who seemed to spot FOREVER!!!!!! I am now 17 wks pregnant with a boy, but I can tell you that I spotted til about 12 weeks or so with brownish to lt. pink colored discharge. I send myself to the RE, OBGYN, and the ER countless frantic times, but knock on wood, all is well and I kept being told that it was normal for many women. Keep a positive mental attitude and I will say a prayer that your first 12 weeks will be over in a flash!!!!

Hello Embie30068,

It is very strange that I logged on and read your response because that was the reason I logged on to see what everyone else had to say about the same subject. I am 5 weeks and 1 day pregnant and I had my third beta yesterday (results- good @ 1800) but I noticed that I have been having some brown spotting this morning and afternoon. At first, I didn't think it was anything because I am also on vaginal Prometrium and I usually have yellowish discharge but to make sure, I called my RE this afternoon. They told me that they were not too concerned as I just had my beta and progesterone level taken yesterday but just in case they are sending me for another beta Monday as my first u/s is scheduled for next Friday. But, I just went and checked again and now noticed it is slightly red tinged. I am getting very nervous and if it becomes heavy or I see clots I will be going to the emergency room. I wish you the best of luck. I am sure praying right now.

I had brown spotting with both BFP's, the first one progressed to heavy red bleeding and a m/c, the second one is still in my tummy and due in 9 weeks! Good luck!
