Robin - Good luck on ER today.

Karen and wickedwheel - Congrats on ER and good luck in the 2ww. Can't wait to celebrate your BFP.

JDC - BTDT with feeling down and depressed. I don't know if I can take another BFN but all we can do is try. Both of us will be starting stims soon so that should be exciting. Have they changed your protocol at all since last time?

Sloan and Melissag - Wishing you the best of luck with your Beta tests on Sunday. I will be out of town but will be checking in to keep the news. Praying for a BFP for both of you.

Rosario - You are getting there. Only a couple more weeks till your appointment and time flys so you will be there before you know it.

Hope everyone has a good weekend. Happy Halloween!!!

chris - thanks for the best wishes... only two more days! I'm holding out for the blood test. I don't think I can take the mind games of peeing on a stick. My RE told me that she never tested positive on the stick when she was pregnant - that some people just don't show up on it...

robin- the ER won't be as bad as you think. you'll be done before you know it! It's interesting that your doc said gatorade is good. - I've heard that gatorade makes you bloat more as it has salt in it.... and being a minute late on the trigger shot is no big deal - I think there's a 15 min. safety time. I know it's nervewracking.

Karen
- that's so exciting about your transfer. what a stellar cycle this has been for you so far. it certainly bodes well...

amanda - sounds like you are humming along. baby aspirin - some people taking while stimming and some after the transfer. you don't want to take it around the retrieval b/c it make you bleed more (at least that's what I understand).. my RE thinks it might help a couple of people with mild clotting issues but it probably won't do anything and it won't hurt you. I'm sure there are other opinions... I take it (with a grain of salt :))

wickedwheel - welcome to the 2ww!

As for me - i'm just waiting --- and trying to avoid internet searching (good luck)...

One thing.... I've been plagued with lousy painful achey leg cramps for the last 4 days... especially at night - in my thigh knees and calves. I'm assuming this is a side effect of the progesterone shots. I usually get something like this one night around my period but this has been persistent... anyone else getting this - wonderce??

just wondering if i'm missing a supplement....

Sloan, hmmm, that achey leg thing isn't something I've experienced. I'm doing the progesterone suppositories, not shots, so I'm not sure if there's any difference there. And wonder why it's more at night? Is that when you do your shots?

Robin, good luck with ER tomorrow. This was my first ER and it wasn't so bad. The IV meds they give are oh so good, so I don't remember a thing until I woke up. I would suggest taking comfy clothes and a pillow for the car ride home, if you have a long drive like I did. We'll be thinking of you!

JDC, sorry to hear about your nightmare and mixed feelings. You definitely deserve for this to be the one. That's awesome that your RE will transfer up to 4. Mine was hesitant to do more than 2, but I guess all of them are different. I forget, but does your insurance cover or are you doing the shared risk?

hi everyone...from looking at our update board- how come my 2WW seems longer than others?? is my clinic torturin me? it tempts me to poas (crazy- i'm already thinking of that and i just had ET yesterday!!)

yes sloan..my clinic says POAS is bad- can often yield false results..

wickedwheel- nice to hear from you, congrats on the embie transfer!!! and thanks also for sharing your story of your daughter..that inspires me :D

lynnie- how wonderful to hear from you !! :D :D i've missed your presence.

hi wonder, kinababy, amanda- congrats on 8 + follies- keep us posted.

and robin, i'll echo the don't worry about 'exact' time within a few minutes, i freaked out getting to the clinic 'on time' for our ER , and we ended up waiting an extra 45mins and they said it didn't matter!! apparently there is a 34-36 hour window to retrieve from the shot.
wow- your post ER/ET instructions are way more than mine..i'm just doing progesterone suppositories 2xday.

and JDC..one particular thing i've gotten out of seeing my counselor is talking about how i want to be happy and peaceful no matter what happens with IVF- i can't take my life and happiness being on hold for this..of course i've always known that, but it is different to express it and get feedback about it.

hi to everyone else...babyhope, chris, gina, lvemybaby, NY, kke, not hopelessyet, kas, rosario, sprouthaus and others !

Karen - Yep I think your clinic is trying to torture you. My RE's office did mine 14 days after my 3 day transfer. I never really paid attention if that was what most RE's usually do.

About POAS, my RE's offices makes it sound like it is the worst thing in world to do. OMG your might get a false reading. If you have the knowledge to know when to pee and when not to pee and also that your HCG level has to be a certain amount to register then most women should be all right to POAS. You can't do it too early or else you will register your trigger shot would result in a false positive. That is pretty much the only way you will get a false positive. If you get a negative, it could be a false negative depending on the type of your HPT and your HCG level. It really isn't that hard. I think the RE's offices just doesn't want to be bothered with questions from ladies that POAS so they tell us not to do it. If you have knowledge and are able to handle the pressure, I don't see the big deal. That is just my 2 cents. Besides who really listens and does what their RE's tell them to word for word?

i'm happy to do more updating on our board, and i have time this weekend- it works best if you post a single post saying what you'd like added..i find with trying to 'pick it out' of a bigger post- it gets mixed up with others' info (in my brain)....glad to add you prayin4bfp!!!

Hey everyone, i will do some personals later, but right now i am pissed...

My RE told me to call on 1st day of AF to get bcp's phoned through to my local CVS. This was all agreed about 5-6 weeks ago and i even phoned last AF just let them know my cycle is on track....

So today i called in as i KNOW AF is coming tomorrow, and its the weekend and the nurse said ' oh i dont know if we will be able to cycle you this month. We might switch you to January!!!!!!" Well, obviously i freaked as you can imagine I'M SURE.....

They are moving to a new building soon, and need to set up the new lab etc, so there is a 2 week period when they wont do any ER or ET, but my RE said i would be fine with my cycle, and we when we looked at the calendar at my first appointment he said 'yes that will be fine'. MY AF last month was bang on 28 days (which is how we worked it out in his office) and tomorrow will also be bang on 28 days so WTF??????? My cycle has not changed at all!!!!!!!!!!

I am so pissed and i let her know this  SHe will 'try' to get ahold of my RE today or Monday to see if i can still do it!!!! If i knew there was even a small chance of this i would have picked another RE as i did have a choice. Now its too late as if i am to cycle as planned i need some frickin' bcp's for Monday morining. OMG i'm so mad

no, i just meant if you wanted something specific added to the 'update board' that says who's cycling and dates of stims, ect. (as opposed to -if you just mention it as a part of a longer post- i won't notice that it's not on the update board, and i won't add it)

sorry if that was confusing....please post as many other long-winded messages as you want!!! (that's what i do :D )

maybe it's better said that you could bold it in your post and say you'd like it added....also you can add to the board yourself by 'quoting' it, then adding the info, then 'submit' it . cheers karen
